| 1 | Diode-pumped 10 W femtosecond Yb:CALGO laser with high beam quality显示文摘We demonstrate a diode-pumped femtosecond Yb:CaGdAlO_(4)(Yb:CALGO)laser with a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror(SESAM)for stable mode-locking operation.A perfect beam profile is measured under 10 W output power with M_(x)^(2)=1.017 and M_(y)^(2)=1.016 in the horizontal and vertical directions,respectively.At the repetition rate of 71.66 MHz,the optical pulse duration is 247 fs and the pulse energy is 140 nJ at the central wavelength of 1041 nm,corresponding to a peak power of 0.56 MW.In addition,we also generate continuous wave(CW)power of more than 15 W with TEM00 mode,corresponding to an optical-to-optical efficiency of 44.1%. | Jinfang Yang Zhaohua Wang Jiajun Song Renchong Lv Xianzhi Wang Jiangfeng Zhu Zhiyi Wei | 2021 | High Power Laser Science and Engineering2021,9,2: | 2 |
| 2 | Sexual maturation in hens is not associated with increases in serum leptin and the expression of leptin receptor mRNA in hypothalamus显示文摘Background: In mammals, leptin is an attractive candidate for mediating the metabolic signal and the reproductive function via the specific receptor in hypothalamus. However, till now, the role of leptin on reproduction in birds is less well established. This experiment was conducted to elucidate the role of leptin on the onset of reproduction in bird, as a first step, to detect the changes of peripheral leptin and leptin receptor mRNA expression in hypothalamus between mature and immature hens at the same age. 120 ISA brown pullets at D60 were allocated randomly into two groups, long light(LL) group being raised under artificial light regimes with incrementally increased light phase(from 8 L:16D to 14 L:12D) and short light(SL) group raised on consistent light(8 L:16D) for 12 wk. Results: The results showed that pullets in LL group reached sexual maturation 15 d earlier than those in SL group. Serum E2 showed a significant increase with age, but no difference was observed between two groups. Serum leptin concentration decreased significantly from D112 to D136 in LL, and was markedly higher in LL group than that in SL at D112, while there was no significant difference between two groups at D136. Leptin receptor and GnRH-I mRNA expression in hypothalamus were significantly increased with age, yet there was no significant difference between SL and LL chickens at the same age. The expression of FSH-β and LH-β mRNA in pituitary was increased with age but did not show significant difference between LL and SL group. GnRH-I mRNA expression was very rich in pineal gland, and decreased from D112 to D136 in LL but not in SL group, and there was no difference between two groups at the same age. | 5 | Exploring the attenuation mechanisms of Dalbergia odorifera leaves extract on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion based on weighted gene co-expression network analysis显示文摘The attenuation function of Dalbergia odorifera leaves on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)is little known.The candidate targets for the Chinese herb were extracted from brain tissues through the high-affinity chromatography.The molecular mechanism of D.odorifera leaves on cerebral I/R was investigated.Methods:Serial affinity chromatography based on D.odorifera leaves extract(DLE)affinity matrices were applied to find specific binding proteins in the brain tissues implemented on C57BL/6 mice by intraluminal middle cerebral artery occlusion for 1 h and reperfusion for 24 h.Specific binding proteins were subjected to mass-spectrometry to search for the differentially expressed proteins between control and DLE-affinity matrices.The hub genes were screened based on weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA).Then,predictive biology and potential experimental verification were performed for the candidate genes.The protective role of DLE in blood-brain barrier damage in cerebral I/R mice was evaluated by the leakage of Evans blue,western blotting,immunohistochemistry,and immunofluorescent staining.Results:952 differentially expressed proteins were classified into seven modules based on WGCNA under soft threshold 6.Based on WGCNA,AKT1,PIK3CA,NOS3,SMAD3,SMAD1,IL6,MAPK1,TGFBR2,TGFBR1,MAPK3,IGF1R,LRG1,mTOR,ROCK1,TGFB1,IL1B,SMAD2,and SMAD518 candidate hub proteins were involved in turquoise module.TGF-β,MAPK,focal adhesion,and adherens junction signaling pathway were associated with candidate hub proteins.Gene ontology analysis demonstrated that candidate hub proteins were related to the TGF-βreceptor signaling pathway,common-partner SMAD protein phosphorylation,etc.DLE could significantly reduce the leakage of Evans blue in mice with cerebral I/R,while attenuating the expression of occludin,claudin-5,and zonula occludens-1.Western blotting demonstrated that regulation of TGF-β/SMAD signaling pathway played an essential role in the protective effect of DLE.Conclusion:Thus,a number of candidate hub proteins were identified based on DLE affinity chromatography through WGCNA.DLE could attenuate the dysfunction of bloodbrain barrier in the TGF-β/SMAD signaling pathway induced by cerebral I/R. | JINFANG HU JIANGEN AO LONGSHENG FU YAOQI WU FENG SHAO TIANTIAN XU MINGJIN JIANG SHAOFENG XIONG YANNI LV | 2023 | BIOCELL2023,47,7: | 0 |
| 6 | Biochanin A,as the Lrg1/TGF-β/Smad2 pathway blockade,attenuates blood-brain barrier damage after cerebral ischemiareperfusion by modulating leukocyte migration patterns显示文摘Background:Biochanin A is an excellent dietary isoflavone that has the concomitant function of both medicine and foodstuff.The attenuation function of biochanin A on blood-brain barrier(BBB)damage induced by cerebral ischemia-reperfusion remains unclear.Methods:C57BL/6 mice were subjected to 1 h middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)followed by 24 h reperfusion.The infarct volume of the brain was stained by TTC,while leakage of the brain was quantitatively stained by Evans blue,and the neurologic deficit score was measured.Microglial-induced morphologic changes were observed via immunofluorescence staining,and rolling and adhering leukocytes in venules were observed via two-photon imaging,while the inner fluorescein isothiocyanate-albumin of venules were compared with those of surrounding interstitial area through venular albumin leakage.Results:The attenuation effect of biochanin A on tight junction injury was compared in ischemia-reperfusion mice or conventional knockdown of leucine-richα2-glycoprotein 1(Lrg1)mice.Biochanin A could ameliorate BBB injury in mice with cerebral ischemiareperfusion in a dose-dependent manner by strengthening the immunostaining volume of occludin,claudin-5,and zonula occludens-1.The amoeba morphologic changes of microglial combined with the elevated expression of Lrg1 could be relieved under the treatment of biochanin A.Biochanin A played a countervailing role on the rolling leukocytes in the vessel,while the leakage of blood vessels was reduced.Biochanin A diminished its functions to further improved attenuation for tight junction injury on conventional Lrg1-knockout mice,as well as the inhibition effects on TGF-β1,and the phosphorylation of suppressor of mothers against decapentaplegic 2(Smad2)/Smad2 via western blot assay.Conclusion:Biochanin A could alleviate tight junction injury induced by cerebral ischemiareperfusion and blocked the Lrg1/TGF-β/Smad2 pathway to modulate leukocyte migration patterns. | LONGSHENG FU JINFANG HU FENG SHAO YAOQI WU WEI BAI MINGJIN JIANG HAO CHEN LIHUA CHEN YANNI LV | 2023 | BIOCELL2023,47,8: | 0 |

| 8 | Flotation behaviors of chalcopyrite and galena using ferrate(Ⅵ) as a depressant显示文摘This paper investigated the effects of potassium ferrate(PF)on the flotation performances of chalcopyrite and galena.The flotation results showed that PF obviously depressed galena,but had little effects on the floatability of chalcopyrite within pH range of 4.0–12.0.Zeta potential tests showed that the addition of PF induced the formation of more amounts of hydrophilic species on the surface of galena under an alkaline environment.Industrial grade O-isopropyl-N-ethyl thionocarbamate(IPETC)chemically adsorbed on the surface of the PF-treated chalcopyrite and galena after its addition.Contact angle measurements showed that with the addition of PF,the contact angle of the galena surface significantly decreased compared with the chalcopyrite surface.Localized electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(LEIS)tests showed that the addition of PF increased the impedance of the galena surface.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)analyses revealed that the formation of hydrophilic species,namely lead sulfite,lead hydroxide and ferric hydroxide,on the galena surface,decreased its floatability in the presence of PF,while the formation of hydrophobic species,namely copper disulfide and elemental sulfur,on the chalcopyrite surface,maintained its floatability.Finally,a descriptive model for the reaction of PF with chalcopyrite and galena was proposed. | Yongxing Zheng Yusong Huang Panjin Hu Xianhui Qiu Jinfang Lv Lingyun Bao | 2023 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,1: | 0 |
