| 2 | On the viscosity of magnetic fluid with low and moderate solid fraction显示文摘The design of a pressurized capillary rheometer operating at prescribed temperature is described to measure the viscosity of magnetic fluids(MFs) containing Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles(MNPs).The equipment constant of the rheometer was obtained using liquids with predetermined viscosities.Experimentally measured viscosities were used to evaluate different equations for suspension viscosities.Deviation of measured suspension viscosities from the Einstein equation was found to be basically due to the influence of spatial distribution and aggregation of Fe3O4 MNPs.By taking account of the coating layer on MNPs and the aggregation of MNPs in MFs,a modified Einstein equation was proposed to fit the experimental data.Moreover,the influence of external magnetic field on viscosity was also taken into account.Viscosities thus predicted are in good agreement with experimental data.Temperature effect on suspension viscosity was shown experimentally to be due to the shear-thinning behavior of the MFs. | Zhiqiang Ren Yanping Han Ruoyu Hong Jianmin Ding Hongzhong Li | 2008 | Particuology2008,6,3: | 5 |
| 3 | Molecular and Physical Mapping of Powdery Mildew Resistance Genes and QTLs in Wheat: A Review显示文摘Wheat powdery mildew(Pm) is a major disease of wheat worldwide. During the past years, numerous studies have been published on molecular mapping of Pm resistance gene(s) in wheat. We summarized the relevant findings of 89 major resistance gene mapping studies and 25 quantitative trait loci(QTL) mapping studies. Major Pm resistance genes and QTLs were found on all wheat chromosomes, but the Pm resistance genes/QTLs were not randomly distributed on each chromosome of wheat. The summarized data showed that the A or B genome has more major Pm resistance genes than the D genome and chromosomes 1A, 2A, 2B, 5B, 5D, 6B, 7A and 7B harbor more major Pm resistance genes than the other chromosomes. For adult plant resistance(APR) genes/QTLs, B genome of wheat harbors more APR genes than A and D genomes, and chromosomes 2A, 4A, 5A, 1B, 2B, 3B, 5B, 6B, 7B, 2D, 5D and 7D harbor more Pm resistance QTLs than the other chromosomes,suggesting that A genome except 1A, 3A and 6A, B genome except 4B, D genome except 1D, 3D, 4D, and 6D play an important role in wheat combating against powdery mildew. Furthermore, Pm resistance genes are derived from wheat and its relatives, which suggested that the resistance sources are diverse and Pm resistance genes are diverse and useful in combating against the powdery mildew isolates. In this review, four APR genes, Pm38/Lr34/Yr18/Sr57, Pm46/Lr67/Yr46/Sr55, Pm?/Lr27/Yr30/Sr2 and Pm39/Lr46/Yr29, are not only resistant to powdery mildew but also effective for rust diseases in the field, indicating that such genes are stable and useful in wheat breeding programmes. The summarized data also provide chromosome locations or linked markers for Pm resistance genes/QTLs. | 4 | Cooperation and distributed optimization for the unreliable wireless game with indirect reciprocity显示文摘Cooperation in packet forwarding among users and operators of a distributed wireless network has been widely studied. However, because of the limited computational resources, users in wireless communication do not prefer to cooperate with others unless cooperation may improve their own performance. Therefore, the key problem in cooperation enforcement must be solved first to enable a wireless network to be efficient. Yet,most of the existing game-theoretic cooperation stimulation approaches assume that the interactions between any pair of players(users) are long-lasting. In this paper, we apply game theory to optimize the communication efficiency of a distributed wireless network with finite number of interactions between any pair of players. Based on the mechanism of indirect reciprocity, we theoretically analyze the optimal action rule with the method of dynamic programming, and derive the approximate threshold of benefit-to-cost ratio to achieve the optimal action rule. Furthermore, we adopt the replicator dynamics to assess the evolutionary stability of the optimal action rule against the perturbation effect. | 5 | Study of rare earth element effect on microstructures and mechanical properties of an Al-Cu-Mg-Si cast alloy显示文摘The improvements of microstructures and properties of a high strength aluminum cast alloy were studied. The effects of rare earth elements on the microstructures and mechanical properties of the high strength cast alloy Al-Cu-Mg-Si were investigated. The result shows that the addition of rare earth elements can change the microstructures in refining the grain size of the alloy and making the needle-like and laminar eutectic Si to a granular Si. With the increase of the rare earth, the tensile strength and elongation of the alloy increase first and then fall down. | 7 | Structure and Corrosion Resistance of Microarc Oxidation Coatings on AZ91D Magnesium Alloy显示文摘Magnesium alloys are widely used as shells of 3C (computer, mobile phone and consumer electronics) equipments for its impressive mechanical and physical properties, such as low density, good resistance to electromagnetic radiation, suitable for high pressure diecasting and easily recycling, etc. But poor corrosion resistance confines its extensively application. In this paper, protective coatings was successfully prepared on AZ91D magnesium alloys by micro-arc oxidation (MAO) and painting process. Microstructures and phases of MAO coatings were invesgated with scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-Ray diffractometer. Mechanical properties of MAO coating, such as adhesive force and corrosion resistance, were also tested. Results showed that MAO coatings were a good base for painting process. MAO coatings with paint have good adhesive properties to base metal and excellent corrosion resistance. | 9 | Efficacy of a mineralized collagen bone-grafting material for peri-implant bone defect reconstruction in mini pigs显示文摘The mechanism of the mineralization process induced by natural mineralized collagen(MC)has been investigated for decades.The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy of selfassembled MC for peri-implant bone defect reconstruction in a mini pig.A standardized peri-implant bone defect model was created using 14 mini pig mandibles.Two materials were evaluated,i.e.a mixture of hydroxyapatite and collagen(Type A,TA),and self-assembled MC(Type B,TB).Bio-Oss(BO)and untreated(blank control,BC)groups were used as controls.After 3-and 6-month healing periods,the mini pigs were sacrificed for histomorphometric and microcomputed tomography analysis.After 3 months of healing,the average alveolar ridge height was 3.2761.57mm for group TA,3.28±2.02mm for group TB and 3.37±1.09mm for group BO,while group BC showed the lowest height of 2.68±0.47mm.After 6 months of healing,the average alveolar ridge height was 2.64±1.13mm for group TA,4.31±1.80mm for group TB and 3.8761.38mm for group BO,while group BC showed the lowest height of 2.48±1.80mm.The experimental groups and control group showed similar bone volume density,bone complexity and histological reaction.The self-assembled MC(Type B)stimulated new bone formation in the reconstruction of deficient alveolar ridges around the dental implant;it also displayed excellent clinical operability compared with bone grafts without collagen. | Enbo Wang Jianmin Han Xuehui Zhang Yuhan Wu Xu-Liang Deng | 2019 | Regenerative Biomaterials2019,6,2: | 3 |

| 13 | Restoring the dampened expression of the core clock molecule BMAL1 protects against compression-induced intervertebral disc degeneration显示文摘The circadian clock participates in maintaining homeostasis in peripheral tissues,including intervertebral discs(IVDs).Abnormal mechanical loading is a known risk factor for intervertebral disc degeneration(IDD).Based on the rhythmic daily loading pattern of rest and activity,we hypothesized that abnormal mechanical loading could dampen the IVD clock,contributing to IDD.Here,we investigated the effects of abnormal loading on the IVD clock and aimed to inhibit compression-induced IDD by targeting the core clock molecule brain and muscle Arnt-like protein-1(BMAL1).In this study,we showed that BMAL1 KO mice exhibit radiographic features similar to those of human IDD and that BMAL1 expression was negatively correlated with IDD severity by systematic analysis based on 149 human IVD samples.The intrinsic circadian clock in the IVD was dampened by excessive loading,and BMAL1 overexpression by lentivirus attenuated compression-induced IDD.Inhibition of the RhoA/ROCK pathway by Y-27632 or melatonin attenuated the compression-induced decrease in BMAL1 expression.Finally,the two drugs partially restored BMAL1 expression and alleviated IDD in a diurnal compression model.Our results first show that excessive loading dampens the circadian clock of nucleus pulposus tissues via the RhoA/ROCK pathway,the inhibition of which potentially protects against compression-induced IDD by preserving BMAL1 expression.These findings underline the importance of the circadian clock for IVD homeostasis and provide a potentially effective therapeutic strategy for IDD. | Dong Wang Pandi Peng Michal Dudek Xueyu Hu Xiaolong Xu Qiliang Shang Di Wang Haoruo Jia Han Wang Bo Gao Chao Zheng Jianxin Mao Chu Gao Xin He Pengzhen Cheng Huanbo Wang Jianmin Zheng Judith A.Hoyland Qing-Jun Meng Zhuojing Luo Liu Yang | 2022 | Bone Research2022,10,2: | 2 |
| 14 | Effect of Lactobacillus acidophilus 1.1878 on sIgA Content in the Intestinal Mucous and Antioxidant Capacity of Broiler Chicks显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to study the immune activities of Lactobacillus acidophilus 1.1878 and its effect on antioxidant capacity of broiler chicks.[Methods]Samples of intestinal mucous,serum and liver were collected from broiler chicks after oral administration of L. acidophilus 1.1878. Secretory immunoglobulin A( sIgA) content in the intestinal mucous,total antioxidant capacity( T-AOC),level of MDA and activity of SOD and GSH-Px were determined,respectively. [Result] Oral administration of L. acidophilus 1.1878 significantly improved the s Ig A content in jejunum and ileum mucous( P < 0.05). No significant differences were observed in GSH-Px activity between treatment group and control group. The concentration of T-AOC and activity of SOD in serum and liver increased significantly( P < 0.05),while the level of MDA reduced significantly after oral administration of L. acidophilus 1.1878( P < 0.05). | 15 | Assessment of future climate change impacts on water-heat-salt migration in unsaturated frozen soil using CoupModel显示文摘The transport mechanisms of water,heat,and salt in unsaturated frozen soil,as well as its response to future climate change are in urgent need of study.In this study,western Jilin Province in north-eastern China was studied to produce a model of coupled water-heat-salt in unsaturated frozen soil using CoupModel.The water,heat,and salt dynamics of unsaturated frozen soil under three representative concentration pathway(RCP)scenarios were simulated to analyze the effects of future climate change on unsaturated frozen soil.The results show that water,heat,and salt migration are tightly coupled,and the soil salt concentration in the surface layer(10 cm)exhibits explosive growth after freezing and thawing.The future(2020–2099)meteorological factors in the study area were predicted using the Statistical Downscaling Model(SDSM).For RCP2.6,RCP4.5,and RCP8.5 scenarios,future temperatures during the freeze–thaw period increased by 2.68°C,3.18°C,and 4.28°C,respectively;precipitation increased by 30.28 mm,28.41 mm,and 32.17 mm,respectively;and evaporation increased by 93.57 mm,106.95 mm,and 130.57 mm,respectively.Climate change will shorten the freeze–thaw period,advance the soil melting time from April to March,and enhance water and salt transport.Compared to the baseline period(1961–2005),future soil salt concentrations at 10 cm increased by 1547.54 mg/L,1762.86 mg/L,and 1713.66 mg/L under RCP2.6,RCP4.5,and RCP8.5,respectively.The explosive salt accumulation is more obvious.Effective measures should be taken to prevent the salinization of unsaturated frozen soils and address climate change. | Hanli Wan Jianmin Bian Han Zhang Yihan Li | 2021 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,1: | 2 |
| 16 | A multi-center,open-label,randomized,parallel-controlled phase II study comparing pharmacokinetic,pharmacodynamics and safety of ripertamab(SCT400)to rituximab(Mab Thera?)in patients with CD20-positive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma显示文摘Objective:This multi-center,open-label,randomized,parallel-controlled phaseⅡstudy aimed to compare the pharmacokinetics(PK),pharmacodynamics(PD)and safety profile of ripertamab(SCT400),a recombinant antiCD20 monoclonal antibody,to rituximab(MabThera^(■))in patients with CD20-positive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL).Methods:Patients with CD20-positive B-cell NHL who achieved complete remission or unconfirmed complete remission after standard treatment were randomly assigned at a 1:1 ratio to receive a single dose of ripertamab(375mg/m^(2))or rituximab(MabThera^(■),375 mg/m^(2)).PK was evaluated using area under the concentration-time curve(AUC)from time 0 to d 85(AUC_(0-85d)),AUC from time 0 to week 1(AUC0-1 w),AUC from time 0 to week 2(AUC_(0-2 w)),AUC from time 0 to week 3(AUC_(0-3 w)),AUC from time 0 to week 8(AUC_(0-8 w)),maximum serum concentration(C_(max)),terminal half-life(T_(1/2)),time to maximum serum concentration(T_(max))and clearance(CL).Bioequivalence was confirmed if the 90%confidence interval(90%CI)of the geometric mean ratio of ripertamab/rituximab was within the pre-defined bioequivalence range of 80.0%-125.0%.PD,immunogenicity,and safety were also evaluated.Results:From December 30,2014 to November 24,2015,a total of 84 patients were randomized(ripertamab,n=42;rituximab,n=42)and the PK analysis was performed on 76 patients(ripertamab,n=38;rituximab,n=38).The geometric mean ratios of ripertamab/rituximab for AUC_(0-85d),ATC_(0-inf),and Cmaxwere 96.1%(90%CI:87.6%-105.5%),95.9%(90%CI:86.5%-106.4%)and 97.4%(90%CI:91.6%-103.6%),respectively.All PK parameters met the pre-defined bioequivalence range of 80.0%-125.0%.For PD and safety evaluation,there was no statistical difference in peripheral CD 19-positive B-cell counts and CD20-positive B-cell counts at each visit,and no difference in the incidence of anti-drug antibodies was observed between the two groups.The incidences of treatment-emergent adverse events and treatment-related adverse events were also comparable between the two groups.Conclusions:In this study,the PK,PD,immunogenicity,and safety profile of ripertamab(SCT400)were similar to rituximab(MabThera^(■))in Chinese patients with CD20-positive B-cell NHL. | Xiaohong Han Mingzhi Zhang Huaqing Wang Qingyuan Zhang Wei Li Miaowang Hao Yuhuan Gao Jie Jin Hanyun Ren Yun Tang Xiaonan Hong Xiaoyan Ke Hang Su Lin Gui Jianmin Luo Liangzhi Xie Wenlin Gai Yuankai Shi | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,6: | 1 |
