1Strain hardening behavior of Mg-Y alloys after extrusion process显示文摘The strain hardening is an effective mode of enhancing mechanical properties in alloys.In this work,the strain hardening behaviors of Mg-xY(x=1,2,and 3 wt%)after extrusion process was investigated using uniaxial tensile tests.Results suggest that the Mg-xY alloys are composed ofα-Mg with a little amount of Mg24Y5 phase.The average grain size reduces from 19.8μm to 12.2μm as the Y content adds from 1 wt%to 2 wt%.Nevertheless,when Y content reaches 3 wt%,the grain size reaches to 12.9μm,which is close to that of Mg-2Y.The strain hardening rate decreases from 883 MPa to 798 MPa at(σ-σ0.2)=40 MPa,and Mg-2Y and Mg-3Y have the similar strain hardening response.Moreover,Mg-1Y shows an obvious ascending stage after the steep decreasing stage,which is mainly caused by the activation of twinning.The strain hardening behavior of Mg-xY is explained based on understanding the roles of the deformation mechanisms via deformation microstructure analysis and Visco-Plastic Self Consistent(VPSC)model.The variation of strain hardening characteristics with increasing Y content is related to the effects of grain size and texture.Chaoyue Zhao Ziyan Li Jiahui Shi Xianhua Chen Teng Tu Zhu Luo Renju Cheng Andrej Atrens Fusheng Pan 2019Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,4:6
2Macroscopic electromagnetic synergy network-enhanced N-doped Ni/C gigahertz microwave absorber with regulable microtopography显示文摘To achieve excellent electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption properties,the microstructure design of the absorber is critical.In this work,six kinds of N-Ni/C nanostructures with different morphologies were prepared by one-step hydrothermal method and high temperature carbonization by adjusting the types of nickel salts and reaction solvents.The EMW absorption performance of six different morphologies of N-Ni/C nanostructures was compared and analyzed.Among them,it is found that the nanoflowerlike N-Ni/C composite has excellent dielectric loss and magnetic loss synergistic effect due to its polycrystalline structure,and can obtain excellent EMW absorption performance.The minimum reflection loss value at a thickness of 1.9 mm is-59.56 dB at 16.88 GHz,and the effective absorption bandwidth value reaches 6.0 GHz at a thickness of 2.2 mm.Our research shows that different morphologies and multiple lattice structures of nanostructures with the same composition have a significant influence on EMW absorption performance,which provides new research ideas for developing high-performance EMW absorbing materials.Yuelei Pan Qianqian Zhu Jiahui Zhu Yuhang Cheng Bowen Yu Zirui Jia Guanglei Wu 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:5
3High-speed railway channel measurements and characterizations: a review显示文摘Wireless communication for high-speed railways (HSRs) that provides reliable and high data rate communication between the train and trackside networks is a challenging task. It is estimated that the wireless communication traffic could be as high as 65 Mbps per high-speed train. The development of such HSR communications systems and standards requires, in turn, accurate models for the HSR propagation channel. This article provides an overview of existing HSR channel measurement campaigns in recent years. Particularly, some important measurement and modeling results in various HSR scenarios, such as viaduct and U-shaped groove (USG), are briefly described and analyzed. 4A fluorescent Eu(Ⅲ) MOF for highly selective and sensitive sensing of picric acid显示文摘A metal-organic framework [Eu_3L_3(CH_3COO)_2(H_2O)_2(μ_3-OH)]·3 DMF,(EuL, H_2L=9H-carbazole-2,7-dicarboxylic acid,DMF=N,N-dimethylformamide) has been synthesized under solvothermal conditions and structurally characterized. In EuL,Eu_6O_8 clusters are four-bridged by carboxylates to form parallel-aligned Eu–O–C chains, which are further linked by the carbazole moieties of L^(2-) ligands to form the three-dimensional framework with rhombic channels. The EuL material with characteristic emission of Eu^(3+) ion exhibits significant luminescence quenching response for picric acid(PA) and the linear Stern-Volmer plot was observed in the concentration range of 0.05–0.15 mM with K_(sv) of 98074 M^(-1). As far as we know, this Ksv is among the highest values for COFs and MOFs in detection of PA. The excellent anti-interference ability and repeatability were also verified by experiments. 6Efficacy analysis of Cheng's GIRAFFE reconstruction after proximal gastrectomy for adenocarcinoma of esophagogastric junction显示文摘Objective:Reconstruction of the digestive tract for adenocarcinoma of esophagogastric junction(AEG)is in dispute.This study evaluated Cheng’s gastric tube interposition esophagogastrostomy with reconstruction of His angle and fundus(Cheng’s GIRAFFE anastomosis)in laparoscopic/open proximal gastrectomy for Siewert typeⅡAEG,which was performed at Zhejiang Cancer Hospital and the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University.Here,we discuss the preliminary results of gastric emptying and anti-reflux.Methods:From a retrospective database,74 patients with advanced Siewert typeⅡAEG underwent curative proximal gastrectomy with GIRAFFE anastomosis,and their gastric emptying and anti-reflux outcomes were evaluated by the Reflux Disease Questionnaire(RDQ)score,nuclide gastric emptying,24-h impedance-pH monitoring and gastroscopy.Results:Seventy-four patients successfully completed proximal partial gastrectomy with Cheng’s GIRAFFE esophagogastric anastomosis.RDQ score six months after the operation was 2.2±2.5.Results of nuclide gastric emptying examinations showed that the gastric half-emptying time was 67.0±21.5 min,the 1-h residual rate was(52.2±7.7)%,the 2-h residual rate was(36.4±5.1)%,and the 3-h residual rate was(28.8±3.6)%;24-h impedance-p H monitoring revealed that the mean De Meester score was 5.8±2.9.Reflux esophagitis was observed by gastroscopy in 7 patients six months after surgery.Conclusions:Cheng’s GIRAFFE anastomosis is safe and feasible for Siewert typeⅡAEG.Zhiyuan Xu Can Hu Yanqiang Zhang Ling Huang Litao Yang Jianfa Yu Pengfei Yu Jiahui Chen Yian Du Xiangdong Cheng 2022Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,3:3
7Effects of Exogenous 5-Aminolevulinic Acid and 24-Epibrassinolide on Cd Accumulation in Rice from Cd-Contaminated Soil显示文摘High grain-Cd-accumulating rice variety Yongyou 9 was planted in Cd-contaminated farmland in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, China to study the effects of 5-aminolevulinic acid(ALA) and24-epibrassinolide(EBR) on Cd accumulation in brown rice. Results showed that the exogenous ALA and EBR had no significant effects on agronomic traits, soil pH and total Cd content in soil, but had some effects on the available Cd content in soil, and significantly influenced the Cd accumulation in the different parts of rice. Results also showed that 100 mg/L exogenous ALA significantly reduced the Cd accumulation in brown rice to blow the food safety standard(0.2 mg/kg), and also significantly reduced the Cd contents in the roots and culm of rice. However, 200 mg/L exogenous ALA treatment increased the Cd content in brown rice remarkably. In addition, 0.15 mg/L EBR treatment increased Cd accumulation in roots, culm, leaves and brown rice notably, whereas 0.30 mg/L exogenous EBR treatment reduced the Cd accumulation in brown rice properly, but it was not significant. 9A novel hybrid CDL-based multipath propagation model for the high-speed railway at 2.35 GHz显示文摘In this study,based on the actual channel measurements of the high-speed railway(HSR) in a viaduct scenario at 2.35 GHz,a hybrid cluster delay line(CDL) channel modeling technology which combines a statistical model and a theoretical model is proposed.This novel channel-characterization approach is used to reveal the statistical properties for ‘‘random'' scattering and to provide a geometric mechanism for computing the timevariant paths for ‘‘periodically moving'' scattering.Using a modified clustering algorithm in the delay domain,the inter-cluster and intra-cluster characteristics against the distance between the transmitter and the receiver were extracted and analyzed.In addition,the measurement results were compared with some conclusions from other measurement studies,and the proposed channel model was validated by comparing the simulated results with the measurement data.The study results provide a useful technique for the evaluation and verification of wireless communications in the HSR environment.Jiahui Qiu Cheng Tao Liu Liu Zihuai Lin Zhenhui Tan 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,35:2
10Ground-layer adaptive optics for the New Vacuum Solar Telescope:Instrument description and first results显示文摘Ground-layer adaptive optics(GLAO)has shown its potential for use in solar observation owing to its wide field-of-view(FOV)correction.A high-order GLAO system that consists of a multiple direction Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor(WFS),a realtime controller with a multi-CPU processor,and a 151-element deformable mirror was developed for the 1-m New Vacuum Solar Telescope at Yunnan Observatories,Chinese Academy of Sciences.A hexagonal microlens with 9×8 subapertures is employed in the WFS.The detection FOV is 42′′×37′′,in which 9(3×3)guide regions are extracted for multiple direction wavefront sensing with a frame rate of up to 2200 Hz.To our knowledge,this is the first professional solar GLAO system used as a regularly operating instrument for scientific observations.Its installation and adjustment were performed in the summer of 2021.In this article,a detailed account of the GLAO system and its first light results and a comprehensive analysis of the performance of the GLAO system are provided.The results show that this system can effectively improve the imaging quality after compensating for the wavefront aberration due to ground-layer turbulence.Lanqiang Zhang Hua Bao Xuejun Rao Youming Guo Libo Zhong Xian Ran Nanfei Yan Jinsheng Yang Cheng Wang Jiahui Zhou Ying Yang Yunyao Long Xinlong Fan Zhongyi Feng Donghong Chen Changhui Rao 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,6:1
11Waste to wealth: Oxygen-nitrogen-sulfur codoped lignin-derived carbon microspheres from hazardous black liquors for high-performance DSSCs显示文摘Carbon materials are effective substitutes for Pt counter electrodes(CEs) in dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs). However, many of these materials, such as carbon nanotubes and graphene, are expensive and require complex preparation process. Herein, waste lignin, recycled from hazardous black liquors,is used to create oxygen-nitrogen-sulfur codoped carbon microspheres for use in DSSC CEs through the facile process of low-temperature preoxidation and high-temperature self-activation. The large number of ester bonds formed by preoxidation increase the degree of cross-linking of the lignin chains, leading to the formation of highly disordered carbon with ample defect sites during pyrolysis. The presence of organic O/N/S components in the waste lignin results in high O/N/S doping of the pyrolysed carbon,which increases the electrolyte ion adsorption and accelerates the electron transfer at the CE/electrolyte interface, as confirmed by density functional theory(DFT) calculations. The presence of inorganic impurities enables the construction of a hierarchical micropore-rich carbon structure through the etching effect during self-activation, which can provide abundant catalytically active sites for the reversible adsorption/desorption of electrolyte ions. Under these synergistic effects, the DSSCs that use this novel carbon CE achieve a quite high power-conversion efficiency of 9.22%. 16CCGD-ESCC: A Comprehensive Database for Genetic Variants Associated with Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Chinese Population显示文摘Esophageal squamous-cell carcinoma(ESCC) is one of the most lethal malignancies in the world and occurs at particularly higher frequency in China. While several genome-wide association studies(GWAS) of germline variants and whole-genome or whole-exome sequencing studies of somatic mutations in ESCC have been published, there is no comprehensive database publically available for this cancer. Here, we developed the Chinese Cancer Genomic Database-Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma(CCGD-ESCC) database, which contains the associations of 69,593 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) with ESCC risk in 2022 cases and 2039 controls, survival time of 1006 ESCC patients(survival GWAS) and gene expression(expression quantitative trait loci,eQTL) in 94 ESCC patients. Moreover, this database also provides the associations between8833 somatic mutations and survival time in 675 ESCC patients. Our user-friendly database is a resource useful for biologists and oncologists not only in identifying the associations of genetic variants or somatic mutations with the development and progression of ESCC but also in studying the underlying mechanisms for tumorigenesis of the cancer. 17Interface construction of NiCo LDH/NiCoS based on the 2D ultrathin nanosheet towards oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Carbon-free hydrogen as a promising clean energy source can be produced with electrocatalysts via water electrolysis.Oxygen evolution reaction(OER)as anodic reaction determines the overall efficiency of water electrolysis due to sluggish OER kinetics.Thus,it’s much desirable to explore the efficient and earth-abundant transition-metal-based OER electrocatalysts with high current density and superior stability for industrial alkaline electrolyzers.Herein,we demonstrate a significant enhancement of OER kinetics with the hybrid electrocatalyst arrays in alkaline via judiciously combining earth-abundant and ultrathin NiCo-based layered double hydroxide(NiCo LDH)nanosheets with nickel cobalt sulfides(NiCoS)with a facile metal-organic framework(MOF)-template-involved surface sulfidation process.The obtained NiCo LDH/NiCoS hybrid arrays exhibits an extremely low OER overpotential of 308 mV at 100 mA·cm^(−2),378 mV at 200 mA·cm^(−2)and 472 mV at 400 mA·cm^(−2)in 1 M KOH solution,respectively.A much low Tafel slope of 48 mV·dec^(−1)can be achieved.Meanwhile,with the current density from 50 to 250 mA·cm^(−2),the NiCo-LDH/NiCoS hybrid arrays can run for 25 h without any degradation.Our results demonstrate that the construction of hybrid arrays with abundant interfaces of NiCo LDH/NiCoS can facilitate OER kinetics via possible modulation of binding energy of O-containing intermediates in alkaline media.The present work would pave the way for the development of lowcost and efficient OER catalysts and industrial application of water alkaline electrolyzers.Jiahui Li Lili Wang Haojia He Yiquan Chen Zirui Gao Na Ma Bing Wang Linlin Zheng Rulin Li Yujia Wei Junqing Xu Yao Xu Bowen Cheng Zhen Yin Ding Ma 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:0
18Neural stem cell-derived exosomes promote mitochondrial biogenesis and restore abnormal protein distribution in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease显示文摘Mitochondrial dysfunction is a hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease.We previously showed that neural stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles improved mitochondrial function in the cortex of AP P/PS1 mice.Because Alzheimer’s disease affects the entire brain,further research is needed to elucidate alterations in mitochondrial metabolism in the brain as a whole.Here,we investigated the expression of several important mitochondrial biogenesis-related cytokines in multiple brain regions after treatment with neural stem cell-derived exosomes and used a combination of whole brain clearing,immunostaining,and lightsheet imaging to clarify their spatial distribution.Additionally,to clarify whether the sirtuin 1(SIRT1)-related pathway plays a regulatory role in neural stem cell-de rived exosomes interfering with mitochondrial functional changes,we generated a novel nervous system-SIRT1 conditional knoc kout AP P/PS1mouse model.Our findings demonstrate that neural stem cell-de rived exosomes significantly increase SIRT1 levels,enhance the production of mitochondrial biogenesis-related fa ctors,and inhibit astrocyte activation,but do not suppress amyloid-βproduction.Thus,neural stem cell-derived exosomes may be a useful therapeutic strategy for Alzheimer’s disease that activates the SIRT1-PGC1αsignaling pathway and increases NRF1 and COXIV synthesis to improve mitochondrial biogenesis.In addition,we showed that the spatial distribution of mitochondrial biogenesis-related factors is disrupted in Alzheimer’s disease,and that neural stem cell-derived exosome treatment can reverse this effect,indicating that neural stem cell-derived exosomes promote mitochondrial biogenesis.Bo Li Yujie Chen Yan Zhou Xuanran Feng Guojun Gu Shuang Han Nianhao Cheng Yawen Sun Yiming Zhang Jiahui Cheng Qi Zhang Wei Zhang Jianhui Liu 2024Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,7:0
19Synthesis of Sn nanocluster@carbon dots for photodynamic therapy application显示文摘Recently,photodynamic therapy(PDT)has been extensively applied in clinical and coadjuvant treatment of various kinds of tumors.However,the photosensitizer(PS)of PDT still lack of high production of singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2)),low cytotoxicity and high biocompatibility.Herein,we propose a facile method for establishing a new core-shell structured Sn nanocluster@carbon dots(CDs)PS.Firstly,Sn^(4+)@S-CDs complex is synthesized using the sulfur-doped CDs(S-CDs)and SnCl4 as raw materials,and subsequently the new PS(Sn nanocluster@CDs)is obtained after vaporization of Sn4+@S-CDs solution.Remarkably,the obtained Sn nanocluster@CDs show an enhanced fluorescence as well as a higher ^(1)O_(2) quantum yield(QY)than S-CDs.The high ^(1)O_(2) QY(58.3%)irradiated by the LED light(400-700 nm,40 mW/cm^(2)),induce the reduction of 4 T1 cancer cells viability by 25%.More intriguingly,no visible damage happens to healthy cells,with little impact on liver tissue due to renal excretion,both in vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrate that Sn nanocluster@CDs may become a promising PS,owning a high potential for application in PDT.Xiaolong Hu Shuna Wang Qinghua Luo Binghui Ge Qin Cheng Chen Dong Jiahui Xu Haizhen Ding Mingsheng Xu Antonio Claudio Tedesco Xin Huang Renquan Zhang Hong Bi 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,7:0
20Experimental study of a 3D printed permanent implantable porous Ta-coated bone plate for fracture fixation显示文摘Metal plates have always been the gold standard in the clinic for internal fracture fixation due to their high strength advantages.However,high elastic modulus can cause stress shielding and lead to bone embrittlement.This study used an electron beam melting method to prepare personalized porous Ti6Al4V(pTi)bone plates.Then,chemical vapor deposition(CVD)technology coats tantalum(Ta)metal on the pTi bone plates.The prepared porous Ta-coated bone plate has an elastic modulus similar to cortical bone,and no stress shielding occurred.In vitro experiments showed that compared with pTi plates,Ta coating significantly enhances the attachment and proliferation of cells on the surface of the scaffold.To better evaluate the function of the Ta-coated bone plate,animal experiments were conducted using a coat tibia fracture model.Our results showed that the Ta-coated bone plate could effectively fix the fracture.Both imaging and histological analysis showed that the Ta-coated bone plate had prominent indirect binding of callus formation.Histological results showed that new bone grew at the interface and formed good osseointegration with the host bone.Therefore,this study provides an alternative to bio-functional Ta-coated bone plates with improved osseointegration and osteogenic functions for orthopaedic applications.Baoyi Liu Zhijie Ma Junlei Li Hui Xie Xiaowei Wei Benjie Wang Simiao Tian Jiahui Yang Lei Yang Liangliang Cheng Lu Li Dewei Zhao 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,4:0
