| 5 | 2D sparse signal recovery via 2D orthogonal matching pursuit显示文摘Recovery algorithms play a key role in compressive sampling (CS).Most of current CS recovery algo-rithms are originally designed for one-dimensional (1D) signal,while many practical signals are two-dimensional (2D).By utilizing 2D separable sampling,2D signal recovery problem can be converted into 1D signal recovery problem so that ordinary 1D recovery algorithms,e.g.orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP),can be applied directly.However,even with 2D separable sampling,the memory usage and complexity at the decoder are still high.This paper develops a novel recovery algorithm called 2D-OMP,which is an extension of 1D-OMP.In the 2D-OMP,each atom in the dictionary is a matrix.At each iteration,the decoder projects the sample matrix onto 2D atoms to select the best matched atom,and then renews the weights for all the already selected atoms via the least squares.We show that 2D-OMP is in fact equivalent to 1D-OMP,but it reduces recovery complexity and memory usage significantly.What's more important,by utilizing the same methodology used in this paper,one can even obtain higher dimensional OMP (say 3D-OMP,etc.) with ease. | FANG Yong WU JiaJi HUANG BorMin | 2012 | Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,4: | 14 |

| 9 | An efficient visible-light photocatalyst for CO2 reduction fabricated by cobalt porphyrin and graphitic carbon nitride via covalent bonding显示文摘Nanoparticle photosensitizers possess technical advantages for photocatalytic reactions due to enhanced light harvesting and efficient charge transport.Here we report synthesis of semiconductor nanoparticles through covalent coupling and assembly of metalloporphyrin with condensed carbon nitride.The resultant nanoparticles consist of light harvesting component from the condensed carbon nitride and photocatalytic sites from the metalloporphyrins.This synergetic particle system effectively initiates efficient charge separation and transport and exhibits excellent photocatalytic activity for CO2 reduction.The CO production rate can reach up to 57μmol/(g·h)with a selectivity of 79%over competing H2 evolution.Controlled experiments demonstrate that the combination of light harvesting with photocatalytic activity via covalent assembly is crucial for the high photocatalytic activity.Due to effective charge separation and transfer,the resultant nanoparticle photocatalysts show exceptional photo stability against photo-corrosion under light irradiation,enabling for long-term utilization.This research opens a new way for the development of stable,effective nanoparticle photocatalysts using naturally abundant porphyrin pigments. | Shufang Tian Sudi Chen Xitong Ren Yaoqing Hu Haiyan Hu Jiajie Sun Feng Bai | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,10: | 9 |

| 11 | Prediction of Cross-Tension Strength of Self-Piercing Riveted Joints Using Finite Element Simulation and XGBoost Algorithm显示文摘Self-piercing riveting(SPR)has been widely used in automobile industry,and the strength prediction of SPR joints always attracts the attention of researchers.In this work,a prediction method of the cross-tension strength of SPR joints was proposed on the basis of finite element(FE)simulation and extreme gradient boosting decision tree(XGBoost)algorithm.An FE model of SPR process was established to simulate the plastic deformations of rivet and substrate materials and verified in terms of cross-sectional dimensions of SPR joints.The residual mechanical field from SPR process simulation was imported into a 2D FE model for the cross-tension testing simulation of SPR joints,and cross-tension strengths from FE simulation show a good consistence with the experiment result.Based on the verified FE model,the mechanical properties and thickness of substrate materials were varied and then used for FE simulation to obtain cross-tension strengths of a number of SPR joints,which were used to train the regression model based on the XGBoost algorithm in order to achieve prediction for cross-tension strength of SPR joints.Results show that the cross-tension strengths of SPR steel/aluminum joints could be successfully predicted by the XGBoost regression model with a respective error less than 7.6%compared to experimental values. | Jianping Lin Chengwei Qi Hailang Wan Junying Min Jiajie Chen Kai Zhang Li Zhang | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,2: | 8 |
| 12 | Flexible and stretchable electrodes for next generation polymer electronics: a review显示文摘Transparent conductive electrodes play a significant role in the fabrication and development of optoelectronic devices. As next generation optoelectronic devices tend towards mobile and wearable devices, the added attribute of flexibility or stretchability for these electrodes becomes increasingly important. However, mechanical requirements aside, transparent conductive electrodes must still retain high transparency and conductivity, with the metrics for these parameters being compared to the standard, indium tin oxide. In the search to replace indium tin oxide, two materials that have risen to the forefront are carbon nanotubes and silver nanowires due to their high transparency, conductivity, mechanical compliance, and ease of fabrication. | 13 | Optical tuning of exciton and trion emissions in monolayer phosphorene显示文摘Monolayer phosphorene provides a unique two-dimensional(2D)platform to investigate the fundamental dynamics of excitons and trions(charged excitons)in reduced dimensions.However,owing to its high instability,unambiguous identification of monolayer phosphorene has been elusive.Consequently,many important fundamental properties,such as exciton dynamics,remain underexplored.We report a rapid,noninvasive,and highly accurate approach based on optical interferometry to determine the layer number of phosphorene,and confirm the results with reliable photoluminescence measurements.Furthermore,we successfully probed the dynamics of excitons and trions in monolayer phosphorene by controlling the photo-carrier injection in a relatively low excitation power range.Based on our measured optical gap and the previously measured electronic energy gap,we determined the exciton binding energy to be~0.3 eV for the monolayer phosphorene on SiO_(2)/Si substrate,which agrees well with theoretical predictions.A huge trion binding energy of~100 meV was first observed in monolayer phosphorene,which is around five times higher than that in transition metal dichalcogenide(TMD)monolayer semiconductor,such as MoS_(2).The carrier lifetime of exciton emission in monolayer phosphorene was measured to be,220 ps,which is comparable to those in other 2D TMD semiconductors.Our results open new avenues for exploring fundamental phenomena and novel optoelectronic applications using monolayer phosphorene. | Jiong Yang Renjing Xu Jiajie Pei Ye Win Myint Fan Wang Zhu Wang Shuang Zhang Zongfu Yu Yuerui Lu | 2015 | Light(Science & Applications)2015,4,1: | 8 |
| 14 | In situ plasmonic optical fiber detection of the state of charge of supercapacitors for renewable energy storage显示文摘In situ and continuous monitoring of electrochemical activity is key to understanding and evaluating the operation mechanism and efficiency of energy storage devices.However,this task remains challenging.For example,the present methods are not capable of providing the real-time information about the state of charge(SOC)of the energy storage devices while in operation.To address this,a novel approach based on an electrochemical surface plasmon resonance(SPR)optical fiber sensor is proposed here.This approach offers the capability of in situ comprehensive monitoring of the electrochemical activity(the electrode potential and the SOC)of supercapacitors(used as an example).The sensor adopted is a tilted fiber Bragg grating imprinted in a commercial single-mode fiber and coated with a nanoscale gold film for high-efficiency SPR excitation.Unlike conventional“bulk”detection methods for electrode activity,our approach targets the“localized”(sub-μm-scale)charge state of the ions adjacent to the electrode interface of supercapacitors by monitoring the properties of the SPR wave on the fiber sensor surface located adjacent to the electrode.A stable and reproducible correlation between the real-time charge–discharge cycles of the supercapacitors and the optical transmission of the optical fiber has been found.Moreover,the method proposed is inherently immune to temperature cross-talk because of the presence of environmentally insensitive reference features in the optical transmission spectrum of the devices.Finally,this particular application is ideally suited to the fundamental qualities of optical fiber sensors,such as their compact size,flexible shape,and remote operation capability,thereby opening the way for other opportunities for electrochemical monitoring in various hard-to-reach spaces and remote environments. | Jiajie Lao Peng Sun Fu Liu Xuejun Zhang Chuanxi Zhao Wenjie Mai Tuan Guo Gaozhi Xiao Jacques Albert | 2018 | Light(Science & Applications)2018,7,1: | 8 |
| 15 | Pre-peak on the structure factor of liquid hypoeutectic Al-Fe alloy显示文摘Using a θ-θ X ray diffractometer the structure of liquid hypoeutectic Al Fe alloy at 675℃ and its change with different thermal histories are investigated . Liquid Al is used as a reference system. It is found that a pre peak appears on the small angle part of the structure factor of the nonsuperheated hypoeutectic Al Fe alloy, but disappears after superheating whereas the structure factors of liquid Al hardly change with the different thermal histories, and no pre peak can be observed on them. The appearance of a pre peak is a mark of the intermediate range order (IRO). The pre peak is taken as the correlation between Fe atoms on the IRO length scale. Assume that the crystalline structure is the first order approximation of the liquid structure. A model structure is constructed. The basic unit is a cube formed by 8 Al atoms on its corner and one Fe atom occupying its center. The translation of such a unit along its fourbody diagonals by the length of a diagonal can meet the requirement of the Fe_Fe distance and gives a DO 3 like structure. If the vacancy among the units is filled with fcc like Al cells, the composition of the entity is about Al 7Fe, close to that of the metastable phase Al 6Fe from rapid solidification. | 17 | Step-scheme CdS/TiO_(2) nanocomposite hollow microsphere with enhanced photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction activity显示文摘Converting solar energy into chemical energy by artificial photosynthesis is promising in addressing the issues of the greenhouse effect and fossil fuel crisis.Herein,a novel photocatalyst,i.e.CdS/TiO_(2) hollow microspheres(HS),were dedicatedly designed to boost overall photocatalytic efficiency.TiO_(2) nanoparticles were in-situ decorated on the inside and outside the shell of Cd S HS,ensuring close contact between TiO_(2) and CdS.The CdS/TiO2 HS with abundant mesopores inside of the shell boost the light absorption via multiscattering effect as well as accessible to reactions in all directions.The heterojunction was scrutinized and the charge transfer across it was revealed by in-situ irradiated X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(ISI-XPS).Ultimately,the charge transfer in this composite was determined to follow stepscheme mechanism,which not only facilitates the separation of charge carriers but also preserves strong redox ability.Benefited from the intimate linkage between Cd S and TiO_(2) and the favorable step-scheme heterojunction,enhanced photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction activity was accomplished.The CH4 yield rate of CdS/TiO_(2) reaches 27.85μmol g^(–1) h^(–1),which is 145.6 and 3.8 times higher than those of pristine CdS and TiO_(2),respectively.This work presents a novel insight into constructing step-scheme photocatalytic system with desirable performance. | Zhongliao Wang Yifan Chen Liuyang Zhang Bei Cheng Jiaguo Yu Jiajie Fan | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,56,21: | 7 |

| 19 | Hetero-phase MoC-Mo_(2)C nanoparticles for enhanced photocatalytic H_(2)-production activity of TiO_(2)显示文摘Hexagonal molybdenum carbide(Mo_(2)C)as an effective non-noble cocatalyst is intensively researched in the photocatalytic H_(2)-evolution field owing to its Pt-like H^(+)-adsorption ability and good conductivity.However,hexagonal Mo_(2)C-modified photocatalysts possess a limited H_(2)-evolution rate because of the weak H-desorption ability.Tofurther improve the activity,cubic MoC was introduced into Mo_(2)C toform the carbon-modified MoC-Mo_(2)C nanoparticles(MoC-Mo_(2)C@C)by a calcination method.The resultant MoC-Mo_(2)C@C(ca.5 nm)was eventually coupled with Ti0_(2)to acquire high-efficiency Ti0_(2)/MoC-Mo_(2)C@C by electrostatic self-assembly.The highest H_(2)-generation rate of Ti0_(2)/MoC-Mo_(2)C@C reached of 918μmol·h^(-1)·g^(-1)which was 91.8,2.7,and 1.5 times than that of the Ti0_(2),TiO_(2)/MoC@C,and Ti0_(2)/Mo_(2)C@C,respectively.The enhanced rate of Ti0_(2)attributes to the carbon layer as cocatalyst to transmit electrons and the hetero-phase MoC-Mo_(2)C as H_(2)-generation active sites to boost H_(2)-evolution reaction.This research offers a novel insight to design photocatalytic materials for energy applications. | Jinfeng Liu Ping Wang Jiajie Fan Huogen Yu Jiaguo Yu | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,4: | 6 |
| 20 | High-speed in vitro intensity diffraction tomography显示文摘We demonstrate a label-free,scan-free intensity diffraction tomography technique utilizing annular illumination(aIDT)to rapidly characterize large-volume three-dimensional(3-D)refractive index distributions in vitro.By optimally matching the illumination geometry to the microscope pupil,our technique reduces the data requirement by 60 times to achieve high-speed 10-Hz volume rates.Using eight intensity images,we recover volumes of∼350μm×100μm×20μm,with near diffraction-limited lateral resolution of∼487 nm and axial resolution of∼3.4μm.The attained large volume rate and high-resolution enable 3-D quantitative phase imaging of complex living biological samples across multiple length scales.We demonstrate aIDT’s capabilities on unicellular diatom microalgae,epithelial buccal cell clusters with native bacteria,and live Caenorhabditis elegans specimens.Within these samples,we recover macroscale cellular structures,subcellular organelles,and dynamic micro-organism tissues with minimal motion artifacts.Quantifying such features has significant utility in oncology,immunology,and cellular pathophysiology,where these morphological features are evaluated for changes in the presence of disease,parasites,and new drug treatments.Finally,we simulate the aIDT system to highlight the accuracy and sensitivity of the proposed technique.aIDT shows promise as a powerful high-speed,label-free computational microscopy approach for applications where natural imaging is required to evaluate environmental effects on a sample in real time. | Jiaji Li Alex Matlock Yunzhe Li Qian Chen Chao Zuo Lei Tian | 2019 | Advanced Photonics2019,1,6: | 6 |
