| 1 | Effect of Short-term Forest Bathing in Urban Parks on Perceived Anxiety of Young-adults: A Pilot Study in Guiyang, Southwest China显示文摘Forest can be taken as a natural therapy to alleviate perceived anxiety of visitors. Given the geographical difference between urban and rural forest environments, little is known about the urban forest therapy effect of anxiety alleviation with reference to the rural forest. In this study, forty-three university students(aged from 19 to 23) were recruited as participants to visit the forest parks at urban and rural areas of Guiyang City on 21 and 23 December 2016. The forest experience was separated by four sceneries. Participants were asked to complete questionnaires by self-evaluating specific anxiety change from 12 questions with scores from 1 to 10 at both entrance and exit of the parks. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test and paired t-test were used to compare the change of anti-anxiety scores during forest bathing and between urban and rural forests, respectively. Results revealed that forest bathing in the urban park can alleviate the anxiety from financial state(P = 0.0028), exam-pass pressure(P = 0.0040) and love-affair relationship(P = 0.0286). Although rural forest bathing can also alleviate the anxiety from financial state(P = 0.0222), meanwhile, it maintained the anxiety about campus life(P < 0.0001). Forest tree richness tended to be higher in the rural forest park than in the urban one, which in contrast decreased the anxiety alleviation from inter-communication in the rural forest park(P = 0.0487). Principle component analysis indicated that participants tended to perceive more decline of anxiety from social contact in the urban forest. In conclusion, university students were recommended to pay a short visit to the urban forest with partners if they felt anxious about personal affairs and felt necessary to talk with others. | 2 | Interactive effects of irrigation and exponential fertilization on nutritional characteristics in Populus 3 euramericana cv. ‘74/76' cuttings in an open-air nursery in Beijing, China显示文摘Nutritional characteristics determine tree stock quality to a considerable extent. Exponential fertilization can induce nutrient reserves within juvenile trees, but its validity on poplar is contingent on interaction with a scientific irrigation regime due to limited water resources under global warming. In the present study, we raised 3200 Populus 9 euramericana cv. ‘74/76' cuttings under four irrigation regimes of 0(I0), 60 %(I60), 80 %(I80), and100 %(I100) of field capacity for soil moisture content with or without(control) the employment of nitrogen(N) addition delivered as exponential fertilization at the rate of 8 g N cutting^(-1)(E8) in an open-air nursery in Beijing, China. Both height and diameter increased with the increment of soil moisture ratio or in response to exponential fertilization(EF) without any interactive effects. In general, concentrations of N, phosphorus(P),and potassium(K) declined with time in stem but foliar N concentration did not change. Under the I100 regime, EF increased foliar N concentration relative to the control but failed to affect N concentration in stem in September, when both N concentration and N content were increased by EF under the I80 regime. Stem-K content and concentration by EF under the I80 regime also increased in September,therefore EF-treated cuttings had a higher ratio of K content in stem to that in whole plant(%ANAR). Vector diagnosis for nutritional status indicated that EF resulted in dilution of K concentration but induced a steady-state P uptake in leaves under all irrigation regimes. Therefore, EF of N addition could promote N uptake to leaves of P. 9 euramericana cv. ‘74/76' cuttings, but it had a null effect on N and P reserves in stem and impaired K reserves.In conclusion, the irrigation regime of 80 % field capacity of soil moisture content was suggested for the culture of juvenile P. 9 euramericana cv. ‘74/76' cuttings. | 3 | Clinical characteristics of 310 SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant patients and comparison with Delta and Beta variant patients in China显示文摘Although the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)Omicron variant has spread,data on the clinical characteristics of infected patients are limited.In this study,the demographic,clinical characteristics,and laboratory data of 310 SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant patients treated at Haihe Hospital of Tianjin were collected and analyzed.Information on these patients was compared to 96 patients with the Delta variant of concern(VOC)and 326 patients with the Beta VOC during the previous coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)outbreak in Harbin.Of the 310 patients infected with the Omicron variant,the median age was 35 years.Most patients were clinically classified as mild(57.74%),and the most common symptoms were cough(48.71%),fever(39.35%),and sore throat(38.26%).The results for different vaccination groups in the Omicron group showed that the median of“SARS-CoV-2 specific IgG”after 2 or 3 doses of vaccination was higher than the unvaccinated group(all Ps<0.05).Older age was associated with a higher proportion of moderate cases and lower asymptomatic and mild cases based on clinical classifications.Compared to the Delta and Beta groups,the median age of the Omicron group was younger.The total number of asymptomatic patients and mild patients in the Omicron virus group was higher than the Delta and Beta groups(60.97%vs.54.17%vs.47.55%).This study presented the clinical characteristics of the first group of patients infected with the Omicron variant in Tianjin,China,and compared their clinical features with patients infected by the Delta and Beta variants,which would increase our understanding of the characteristics of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant. | Wei Yang Songliu Yang Lei Wang Yuxin Zhou Yu Xin Hongxu Li Wenjing Mu Qi Wu Lei Xu Mingyan Zhao Changsong Wang Kaijiang Yu | 2022 | Virologica Sinica2022,37,5: | 4 |
| 4 | Dynamic analysis of heat extraction rate by supercritical carbon dioxide in fractured rock mass based on a thermal-hydraulic-mechanics coupled model显示文摘Heat production from geothermal reservoirs is a typical heat transfer process involving a cold working fluid contacting a hot rock formation.Compared to the thermal-physical characteristics of water,supercritical CO_(2)(scCO_(2))has a higher heat storage capacity over a wide temperature-pressure range and may be favored as a heat transfer fluid.Singularly characteristic of scCO_(2)-based heat extraction is that the hydraulic-thermal properties of the scCO_(2) vary dramatically and dynamically with the spatial pressure gradient during unsteady-state flow along fracture.This highly nonlinear behavior presents a challenge in the accurate estimation of heat extraction efficiency in scCO_(2)-based EGS.In this paper,a thermal-h ydraulic-mechanical(THM)coupled model is developed by considering deformation of the fractured reservoir,non-Darcy flow and the varying thermal-physical properties of scCO_(2).The proposed model is validated by matching the modeling temperature distribution with published data.The results show that during continuous injection of scCO_(2),the fracture first widens and then narrows,ultimately reopening over the long term.The sequential fracture deformation behaviors are in response to the combined impacts of mechanical compression and thermally-induced deformation.By controlling the injection parameters of the scCO_(2),it is found that the heat extraction rate is positively correlated to its pore pressure or mass flow rate.The heat extraction rate can be significantly enhanced,when the inlet temperature of scCO_(2) is below its critical temperature.As a result,the heat increment recovered per unit mass of scCO_(2) decreases as the hot rock is gradually cooled.Meanwhile,the heat increment recovered per unit mass of scCO_(2) decreases by increasing the inlet temperature of scCO_(2) or its mass flow rate,but increases as the outlet pressure rises.Furthermore,multi-linear regression indicates that controlling the inlet temperature of the scCO_(2) can significantly improve the thermodynamic efficiency of heat extraction. | Chunguang Wang Xingkai Shi Wei Zhang Derek Elsworth Guanglei Cui Shuqing Liu Hongxu Wang Weiqiang Song Songtao Hu Peng Zheng | 2022 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,2: | 3 |
| 5 | Electrosynthsis of large polypyrrole films by multi-potential steps method显示文摘Polypyrrole (PPy) films were prepared by multi-potential steps polymerization in an aqueous pyrrole solution, with lithium perchlorate and oxalic acid as supporting electrolytes. Morphology and structure of PPy films were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Electrochemical behaviors of PPy films were studied by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The results show that multi-potential steps polymerization improves the conductivity of PPy films and large polymer films can be peeled off easily from the electrode without cracking. Lithium perchlorate and oxalic acid provide appropriate dopants for PPy polymerization. It was observed that the polymerization time and the current density have a crucial influence on the surface morphology of PPy films. Smooth and compact PPy films could be generated under long polymerization time and low current density. Multi-potential steps polymerization decreases the occurrence of peroxidation, which improves the conductivity of PPy films. | 6 | Foliar C/N stoichiometry in urban forest trees on a global scale显示文摘Foliar C/N stoichiometry is an indicator of geochemical cycling in forest ecosystems,but the driving changes for its response to urbanization at the wide scale is not clear.In this study,data on tree-leaf C and N stoichiometry were collected in papers from across 105 tree species from 82 genera and 46 families.The foliar C/N of urban forest trees varied among different climate zones and tree taxonomic variation and tended to be higher in trees of urban forests near the equator and in eastern regions,mainly driven by lowered foliar N concentration.Neither the foliar C concentration nor foliar C/N for trees of urban forests was statistically higher than those of rural forests.For variation by taxonomic classification,C_4 species Amaranthus retroflexus and Chenopodium ambrosoides(Amaranthaceae) had lower foliar C/N than did other species and families.Myrsine guianensis(Primulaceae) and Myconia fallax(Asteraceae) had the highest foliar C/N.Therefore,urbanization has not caused a significant response in forest trees for foliar C/N.The change in foliar N concentration was globally the main force driving of the differences in foliar C/N for most tree species in urban forests.More work is needed on foliar C/N in trees at cities in polar regions and the Southern Hemisphere. | Hongxu Wei Xingyuan He | 2021 | Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,4: | 1 |
| 7 | Acupoint application therapies for essential hypertension:a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupoint application therapies(AA)for hypertension.METHODS:We searched Pub Med,EMBASE,the Cochrane Center Controlled Trials Register,Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure,Chinese Scientific Journal Database,and Wanfang Med Online Database from their inceptions to October 7,2019.No language restriction was applied.We included randomized clinical trials testing AA against Western Medicine,AA versus placebo,AA combined with Western Medicine versus Western Medicine.Study selection,data extraction,quality assessment,and data analyses were conducted according to the Cochrane standards.RESULTS:Totally 41 trials with 3772 participants were included.The methodological quality of the included trials was evaluated as generally low.AA plus Western Medicine significantly lowered systolic blood pressure(BP)[weighted mean difference(WMD):-10.36,95%confidence intervals(CI):-12.62,-8.10;P<0.00001],diastolic BP(WMD:-5.71,95%CI:-7.30,-4.13;P<0.00001),and total effect[risk ratio(RR):1.23,95%CI:1.15,1.32;P<0.00001].The BP-lowering effect of AA was significantly higher than that of placebo[systolic BP(SBP):-8.05,95%CI:-8.67,-7.43;P<0.00001;diastolic BP(DBP):-6.66,95%CI:-7.31,-6.01,P<0.00001].The total effect also improved significantly from baseline with AA than placebo(RR:10.85,95%CI:4.71,24.98;P<0.00001).Traditional Chinese Medicine symptoms score were significantly reduced by AA compared with Western Medicine(WMD:-1.75,95%CI:-2.52,-0.99;P<0.00001),10 trials reported adverse events,indicating that the safety of SSYX Capsule is still uncertain.CONCLUSIONS:Application therapies may be considered a safe and beneficial for the treatment of hypertension and can reduce BP and improve the total effect.Further well-designed trials are needed to support our conclusions. | LIU Wei XIONG Xingjiang QIAO Lumin CHEN Yuyi LI Yixuan SU Xing CHU Fuyong LIU Hongxu | 2022 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,2: | 1 |
| 8 | New insights in nano-copper chromite catalyzing ultrafine AP:Evaluation of dispersity and mixing uniformity显示文摘Improving the application of nanomaterials has always been a research hotspot in the field of energetic materials(EMs)due to their obvious catalytic effect on the EMs,especially the uniformly dispersed nanomaterials.However,few studies have reported the dispersion of nanomaterials.In this study,the dispersity and mixing uniformity of nano-CuCr_(2)O_(4)was evaluated based on the difference of solid UV light absorption between the nano-catalytic materials and EMs.The nano-CuCr_(2)O_(4)/ultrafine AP composites with different dispersity of nano-CuCr_(2)O_(4)were prepared by manual grinding and mechanical grinding with different grinding strength and griding time.And then,the absorbance of different samples at 212 nm was obtained by solid UV testing due to the high repeatability of the absorbance at 210-214 nm for three parallel experiments,and the dispersity of different samples was calculated through the established difference equation.Furthermore,the samples were characterized by XRD,IR,SEM,EDS,DSC and TG-MS,which confirmed that different mixing methods did not change the structure of the samples(XRD and IR),and the mixing uniformity improved with the increase of grinding strength and grinding time(SEM and EDS).The scientificity and feasibility of the difference equation were further verified by DSC.The dispersity of nano-CuCr_(2)O_(4)exhibits a positive intrinsic relationship with its catalytic performance,and the uniformly dispersed nano-CuCr_(2)O_(4)significantly reduces the thermal decomposition temperature of ultrafine AP from 367.7 to 338.8℃.The TG-MS patterns show that the dispersed nano-CuCr_(2)O_(4)advanced the thermal decomposition process of ultrafine AP by about 700 s,especially in the high temperature decomposition stage,and the more concentrated energy release characteristic is beneficial to further enhance the energy performance of AP-based propellants.The above conclusions show that the evaluation method of dispersity based on solid UV curves could provide new ideas for the dispersity characterization of nano-catalytic materials in EMs,which is expected to be widely used in the field of EMs. | Yong Kou Peng Luo Lei Xiao Yanping Xin Guangpu Zhang Yubing Hu Junqing Yang Hongxu Gao Fengqi Zhao Wei Jiang Gazi Hao | 2024 | Defence Technology(防务技术)2024,32,2: | 0 |

| 10 | Optimizing the growth and N status of containerized Australian Blackwood(Acacia melanoxylon)seedlings with exponential nitrogen loading显示文摘Exponential nitrogen(N) loading approach has been used to optimize seedling growth in container seedling production. However, the response of seedling growth to N loading and optimal N loading rates are species-dependent. There is a lack of information on optimal N loading in container production of Australian Blackwood(Acacia melanoxylon) seedlings. In this study, 7 exponential N loading at rates of 0, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, and 600 mg N seedling-1, respectively, were applied at the week 3, 6, 9, 12 and 14 after transplanting to determine optimal loading approach based on seedling height, root collar diameter(RCD), biomass accumulation and N uptake in tissue-cultured Australian Blackwood(A. melanoxylon) seedlings. Seedlings did not respond to N loading 3 wk after transplanting, then the accumulative addition of N loading for improved RCD and seedling height was 12.99 and 28.02 mg N seedlings-1 in the 100 N and 400 N treatment 6 wk after transplanting, respectively, and on 9 and 12 wk, that for improved seedling growth was 63.64 and 400 mg N seedling-1 in the 200 N and 400 N treatment, respectively. Vector diagnosis of final biomass and N status indicated that the dose of 100 and 400 mg N seedling-1 was characterized to be 'deficient' and 'optimum' dose of exponential N loading for Blackwood seedlings. | 11 | Chitosan oligosaccharide addition modifies nutrient utilization in highly-valued ornamental tree seedlings显示文摘Forestation in the increasingly urbanized area generates a huge demand for ornamental tree stocks, requiring new approach to promote the cultural efficiency of highly valued seedlings. Chitosan oligosaccharide(COS) is one of biodegradable natural plant growth modifier derived from chitin and an abundant water insoluble biopolymer. In this study, Buddhist pine(Podocarpus macrophyllus)(PM) and Northeast yew(Taxus cuspidata)(TC) were cultured with or without COS addition from 1 July to 17 November 2016. Relative to the TC seedlings, the PM seedlings had greater growth of height and biomass which was found to be negatively correlated with the changes of nitrogen(N) and phosphorus(P) concentrations in shoot during the culture. Only those TC seedlings treated without COS addition had higher proportion of decline in the initial N concentration than that in the PM seedlings. Root P concentration declined less in Buddhist pine seedlings than that in Northeast yew seedlings treated with COS. By 17 of November 2016, both N and P seemed to have been diluted in the PM seedlings and exceed the demand in the TC seedlings. | 13 | Can forest bathing in spring enhance the positive psychological response of university students: A pilot study in Northeast China显示文摘Forest bathing is well known to be beneficial of the visitors’psychological changes with better emotion and mood.Most understanding about the psychological change of university students in response to forest bathing is mainly obtained by the profile of mood states(POMS)method:a psychological rating scale to assess the transient and distinct mood states.Although some other studies explored to use a new questionnaire to assess the psychological change of university students in the urban park,more detailed information is scarce.In this study,23 university students(12 female;aged 20-23)were recruited to walk for 3.5 hours in Nanhu forest park,Changchun,China on 22 and 23 May 2018,when they were arranged to walk in an urban routine simultaneously.It was found that these students instantiated more positive emotion in the urban forest.These positive psychological changes were accompanied by improved perception about personal details and school work.In contrast,participants walking in the urban environment did not feel any psychological change.Therefore,forest bathing can be taken as an active way to stimulate more positive psychological changes compared to the urban experience.However,as a pioneer project,this study suggests more studies by designing more specific questions about social contact affairs for university students’forest bathing. | Wei Hongxu Wang Dan He Xingyuan Ren Zhibin An Baiyi | 2018 | 林业与环境科学2018,34,4: | 0 |
