Dual origins of Xiaoqinling gold-bearing quartz veins:Fluid inclusion evidence显示文摘Fluid inclusion research in Archean metamorphic rocks, Yanshanian granite and gold-bearing quartz veins shows that regional metamorphic fluids are high temperature and high saline, Yanshanian post-granitic fluids are CO2-bearing low saline, and ore-forming fluids are also CO2-rich low saline. In gold-barren/free parts of quartz veins in gold deposits, daughter mineral-bearing high saline inclusions related with metamorphic fluids remained. This proclaims quartz veins hosting gold ores might have been formed in early metamorphism, and overlapped or mineralized by late Yanshanian gold-bearing fluids. | Hongrui Fan Yihan Xie Rui Zhao Yinglan Wang | 2000 | Chinese Science Bulletin2000,45,15: | 17
Information flow and controlling in regularization inversion of quantitative remote sensing显示文摘In order to minimize uncertainty of the inversed parameters to the largest extent by making full use of the limited information in remote sensing data, it is necessary to understand what the information flow in quantitative remote sensing model inversion is, thus control the information flow. Aiming at this, the paper takes the linear kernel-driven model inversion as an example. At first, the information flow in different inversion methods is calculated and analyzed, then the effect of information flow controlled by multi-stage inversion strategy is studied, finally, an information matrix based on USM is defined to control information flow in inversion. It shows that using Shannon entropy decrease of the inversed parameters can express information flow more properly. Changing the weight of a priori knowledge in inversion or fixing parameters and partitioning datasets in multi-stage inversion strategy can control information flow. In regularization inversion of remote sensing, information matrix based on USM may be a better tool for quantitatively controlling information flow. | YANG Hua, XU Wangli, ZHAO Hongrui, CHEN Xue & WANG Jindi Research Center for Remote Sensing and GIS, School of Geography, Beijing Normal University, State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science, Beijing Key Laboratory for Remote Sensing of Environment and Digital Cities, Beijing 100875, China Department of Mathematics, Beijing Normal University, Beijing 100875, China | 2005 | Science China Earth Sciences2005,48,1: | 12
Sintilimab versus docetaxel as second-line treatment in advanced or metastatic squamous non-small-cell lung cancer:an open-label,randomized controlled phase 3 trial(ORIENT-3)显示文摘Background:Treatment options for Chinese patients with locally advanced or metastatic squamous-cell non-small-cell lung cancer(sqNSCLC)after failure of first-line chemotherapy are limited. This study(ORIENT-3)aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of sintilimab versus docetaxel as second-line treatment in patients with locally advanced or metastatic sqNSCLC.Methods:ORIENT-3 was an open-label,multicenter,randomized controlled phase 3 trial that recruited patients with stage IIIB/IIIC/IV sqNSCLC after failure with first-line platinum-based chemotherapy.Patients were randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive either 200 mg of sintilimab or 75 mg/m^(2) of docetaxel intravenously every 3 weeks, stratified by the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status. The primary endpoint was overall survival(OS)in the full analysis set(FAS).Secondary endpoints included progression-free survival(PFS),objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),duration of response(DoR)and safety. Results:Between August 25,2017,and November 7,2018,290 patients were randomized. For FAS,10 patients fromthe docetaxel armwere excluded.Themedian OS was 11.79(n=145;95%confidence interval[CI],10.28-15.57)months with sintilimab versus 8.25(n=135;95%CI,6.47-9.82)months with docetaxel(hazard ratio[HR]:0.74;95%CI,0.56-0.96;P=0.025).Sintilimab treatment significantly prolonged PFS(median 4.30 vs.2.79 months;HR:0.52;95%CI,0.39-0.68;P<0.001)and showed higher ORR(25.50%vs.2.20%,P<0.001)and DCR(65.50%vs.37.80%,P<0.001)than the docetaxel arm.The median DoRwas 12.45(95%CI,4.86-25.33)months in the sintilimab arm and 4.14(95%CI,1.41-7.23)months in the docetaxel arm(P=0.045).Treatment-related adverse events of grade≥3were reported in 26(18.1%)patients in the sintilimab arm and 47(36.2%)patients in the docetaxel arm.Exploratory biomarker analysis showed potential predictive values of expression levels of two transcription factors, including OVOL2(HR:0.35;P<0.001)and CTCF(HR:3.50;P<0.001),for sintilimab treatment. Conclusions:Compared with docetaxel, sintilimab significantly improved the OS,PFS,and ORR of Chinese patients with previously treated locally advanced or metastatic sqNSCLC. | Yuankai Shi Lin Wu Xinmin Yu Puyuan Xing Yan Wang Jianying Zhou Airong Wang Jianhua Shi Yi Hu Ziping Wang Guangyu An Yong Fang Sanyuan Sun Caicun Zhou Changli Wang Feng Ye Xingya Li Junye Wang Mengzhao Wang Yunpeng Liu Yanqiu Zhao Ying Yuan Jifeng Feng Zhendong Chen Jindong Shi Tao Sun Gang Wu Yongqian Shu Qisen Guo Yi Zhang Yong Song Shucai Zhang Yuan Chen Wei Li Hongrui Niu Wenwei Hu Lijun Wang Jianan Huang Yang Zhang Ying Cheng Zhengdong Wu Bo Peng Jiya Sun Christoph Mancao Yanqi Wang Luyao Sun | 2022 | Cancer Communications2022,42,12: | 8

lncR-GAS5 upregulates the splicing factor SRSF10 to impair endothelial autophagy, leading to atherogenesis显示文摘Long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)play a critical role in the regulation of atherosclerosis. Here,we investigated the role of the lncRNA growth arrest-specific 5(lncR-GAS5)in atherogenesis. We found that the enforced expression of lncR-GAS5 contributed to the development of atherosclerosis, which presented as increased plaque size and reduced collagen content. Moreover, impaired autophagy was observed,as shown by a decreased LC3II/LC3I protein ratio and an elevated P62 level in lncR-GAS5-overexpressing human aortic endothelial cells.By contrast,lncR-GAS5 knockdown promoted autophagy.Moreover,serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 10(SRSF10)knockdown increased the LC3II/LC3I ratio and decreased the P62 level, thus enhancing the formation of autophagic vacuoles, autolysosomes, and autophagosomes.Mechanistically,lncR-GAS5 regulated the downstream splicing factor SRSF10 to impair autophagy in the endothelium, which was reversed by the knockdown of SRSF10.Further results revealed that overexpression of the lncR-GAS5-targeted gene miR-193-5p promoted autophagy and autophagic vacuole accumulation by repressing its direct target gene,SRSF10.Notably,miR-193-5p overexpression decreased plaque size and increased collagen content.Altogether, these findings demonstrate that lncR-GAS5 partially contributes to atherogenesis and plaque instability by impairing endothelial autophagy. In conclusion,lncR-GAS5 overexpression arrested endothelial autophagy through the miR-193-5p/SRSF10 signaling pathway.Thus,miR-193-5p/SRSF10 may serve as a novel treatment target for atherosclerosis. | Yuhua Fan Yue Zhang Hongrui Zhao Wenfeng Liu Wanqing Xu Lintong Jiang Ranchen Xu Yue Zheng Xueqing Tang Xiaohan Li Limin Zhao Xin Liu Yang Hong Yuan Lin Hui Chen Yong Zhang | 2023 | Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,2: | 1

Fluid Inclusion and Carbon-Oxygen Isotope Studies of the Hujiayu Cu Deposit,Zhongtiao Mountains,China:Implications for Synmetamorphic Copper Remobilization显示文摘The Hujiayu Cu deposit, representative of the 'HuBi-type' Cu deposits in the Zhongtiao Mountains district in the southern edge of the North China Craton,is primarily hosted in graphitebearing schists and carbonate rocks. The ore minerals comprise mainly chalcopyrite, with minor sphalerite,siegenite[(Co,Ni)_3S_4],and clausthalite[Pb(S,Se)].The gangue minerals are mainly quartz and dolomite, with minor albite.Four fluid inclusion types were recognized in the chalcopyrite-pyrite-dolomite-quartz veins, including CO_2-rich inclusions(type Ⅰ),low-salinity,liquid-dominated,biphase aqueous inclusions(type Ⅱ),solid-bearing aqueous inclusions(type Ⅲ),and solid-bearing aqueous-carbonic inclusions(type Ⅳ).Type I inclusion can be further divided into two sub-types,i.e.,monophase CO_2 inclusions(type Ⅰa) and biphase CO_2-rich inclusions(with a visible aqueous phase),and type Ⅲ inclusion is divided into a subtype with a halite daughter mineral(type Ⅲa) and a subtype with multiple solids(type Ⅲb).Various fluid inclusion assemblages(FIAs) were identified through petrographic observations, and were classified into four groups. The group-1 FIA,consisting of monophase CO_2 inclusions(type Ⅰa),homogenized into the liquid phase in a large range of temperatures from-1 to 28℃,suggesting post-entrapment modification. The group-2 FIA consists of type Ⅰb,Ⅲb and Ⅳ inclusions, and is interpreted to reflect fluid immiscibility. The group-3 FIA comprises type Ⅱ and Ⅲa inclusions, and the group-4FIA consists of type Ⅱ inclusions with consistent phase ratios. The group-1 and group-2 FIAs are interpreted to be entrapped during mineralization, whereas group-3 and group-4 FIAs probably represent the post-mineralization fluids. The solid CO_2 melting temperatures range from-60.6 to56.6℃ and from-66.0 to-63.4℃ for type Ⅰa and type Ⅳ inclusions, respectively. The homogenization temperatures for type Ⅱ inclusions range from 132 to 170℃ for group-3 FIAs and115 to 219℃ for group-4 FIAs.The halite melting temperatures range from 530 to 562℃ for typeⅢ b and Ⅳ inclusions, whereas those for type Ⅲa inclusions range from 198 to 398℃.Laser Raman and SEM-EDS results show that the gas species in fluid inclusions are mainly CO_2 with minor CH_4,and the solids are dominated by calcite and halite. The calcite in the hosting marble and dolomite in the hydrothermal veins have δ^(13)C_(V-pdb) values of-0.2 to 1.2‰ and-1.2 to-6.3‰,and δ^(18)O_(v-smow) values of 14.0 to 20.8 ‰ and 13.2 to 14.3‰,respectively.The fluid inclusion and carbon-oxygen isotope data suggest that the ore-forming fluids were probably derived from metamorphic fluids, which had reacted with organic matter in sedimentary rocks or graphite and undergone phase separation at 1.4-1.8 kbar and 230-240℃,after peak metamorphism. It is proposed that the Hujiayu Cu deposit consists of two mineralization stages. The early stage mineralization, characterized by disseminated and veinlet copper sulfides, probably took place in an environment similar to sediment-hosted stratiform copper mineralization.Ore minerals formed in this precursor mineralization stage were remobilized and enriched in the late metamorphic hydrothermal stage, leading to the formation of thick quartz-dolomite-sulfides veins. | QIU Zhengjie FAN Hongrui LIU Xuan WEN Bojie HU Fangfang YANG Kuifeng GUO Shuanglong ZHAO Fengchun | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3: | 1
Key Physical Factors Affecting Spatial-temporal Variation of Labile Organic Carbon Fractions by Biochar Driven in Mollisols Region of Northeast China显示文摘Biochar is widely used to improve soil physical properties and carbon sequestration. However, few studies focuse on the impact of maize stalk biochar on labile organic carbon(LOC) pool and the relationship between physical properties and LOC fractions. A field positioning experiment was performed in Mollisols region of Northeast China to evaluate the influence of maize stalk biochar on the spatial distribution and temporal changes of physical properties and LOC fractions. Maize stalk biochar treatments included C1(1.5 kg·hm^(-2)), C2(3 kg·hm^(-2)), C3(15 kg·hm^(-2)), C4(30 kg·hm^(-2)), and CK(0). The results showed that maize stalk biochar increased soil water contents(SWC) and soil porosity(SP), but reduced bulk density(BD). Maize stalk biochar reduced dissolved organic carbon(DOC) contents in the 0-20 cm soil layer, ranging from 0.25 g·kg^(-1) to 0.31 g·kg^(-1) in harvest period, while increased in the 20-40 cm soil layer. In addition, the application of biochar had a significant impact on the spatial distribution and temporal change of SWC, BD, SP, DOC, hot-water extractable carbon(HWC), acid hydrolyzed organic carbon(AHC Ⅰ, Ⅱ), and readily oxidized organic carbon(ROC). High amounts of maize stalk biochar up-regulated the contents of soil organic carbon SOC, HWC, AHC Ⅰ, AHC Ⅱ, and ROC. In addition, SWC and SP were the key physical factors to affect LOC fractions. In conclusions, maize stalk biochar could improve physical properties, and then influence LOC fractions, and maize stalk biochar could be used as an organic amendment for restoring degraded soils governed by their rates of addition. | Zhao Wei Liang Fangyuan Liang Ying Zhao Hongrui Hao Shuai Wang Hongyan Wang Daqing | 2024 | Journal of Northeast Agricultural University(English Edition)2024,31,1: | 0

A novel TNKS/USP25 inhibitor blocks the Wnt pathway to overcome multi-drug resistance in TNKS-overexpressing colorectal cancer显示文摘Modulating Tankyrases(TNKS),interactions with USP25 to promote TNKS degradation, rather than inhibiting their enzymatic activities,is emerging as an alternative/specific approach to inhibit the Wnt/β-catenin pathway. Here,we identified UAT-B,a novel neoantimycin analog isolated from Streptomyces conglobatus,as a small-molecule inhibitor of TNKS-USP25 protein-protein interaction(PPI)to overcome multi-drug resistance in colorectal cancer(CRC).The disruption of TNKS-USP25 complex formation by UAT-B led to a significant decrease in TNKS levels, triggering cell apoptosis through modulation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway.Importantly,UAT-B successfully inhibited the CRC cells growth that harbored high TNKS levels,as demonstrated in various in vitro and in vivo studies utilizing cell line-based and patient-derived xenografts,as well as APC^(min/+)spontaneous CRC models.Collectively, these findings suggest that targeting the TNKS-USP25 PPI using a small-molecule inhibitor represents a compelling therapeutic strategy for CRC treatment, and UAT-B emerges as a promising candidate for further preclinical and clinical investigations. | Hongrui Zhu Yamin Gao Liyun Liu Mengyu Tao Xiao Lin Yijia Cheng Yaoyao Shen Haitao Xue Li Guan Huimin Zhao Li Liu Shuping Wang Fan Yang Yongjun Zhou Hongze Liao Fan Sun Houwen Lin | 2024 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,1: | 0
Intelligent indoor metasurface robotics显示文摘Intelligent indoor robotics is expected to rapidly gain importance in crucial areas of our modern society such as at-home health care and factories.Yet,existing mobile robots are limited in their ability to perceive and respond to dynamically evolving complex indoor environments because of their inherently limited sensing and computing resources that are, moreover, traded off against their cruise time and payload. To address these formidable challenges, here we propose intelligent indoor metasurface robotics(I2MR),where all sensing and computing are relegated to a centralized robotic brain endowed with microwave perception;and I2MR’s limbs(motorized vehicles, airborne drones, etc.)merely execute the wirelessly received instructions from the brain. The key aspect of our concept is the centralized use of a computation-enabled programmable metasurface that can flexibly mold microwave propagation in the indoor wireless environment, including a sensing and localization modality based on configurational diversity and a communication modality to establish a preferential high-capacity wireless link between the I2MR’s brain and limbs. The metasurface-enhanced microwave perception is capable of realizing low-latency and high-resolution three-dimensional imaging of humans, even around corners and behind thick concrete walls, which is the basis for action decisions of the I2MR’s brain.I2MR is thus endowed with real-time and full-context awareness of its operating indoor environment. We implement, experimentally,a proof-of-principle demonstration at∼2.4 GHz,in which I2MR provides health-care assistance to a human inhabitant. The presented strategy opens a new avenue for the conception of smart and wirelessly networked indoor robotics. | Hanting Zhao Shengguo Hu Hongrui Zhang Zhuo Wang Hao Dong Philipp del Hougne Tie Jun Cui Lianlin Li | 2023 | National Science Review2023,10,8: | 0
The distribution patterns and temporal dynamics of carabid beetles(Coleoptera:Carabidae)in the forests of Jiaohe,Jilin Province,China显示文摘Carabid beetles, predatory insects, are abundant in forests and sensitive to environmental changes. The distribution patterns and diversity of carabid beetles in several natural forests were studied to provide a basis for evaluating the importance of a forest in the protection of carabid beetle diversity.Carabids were captured by pitfall traps during their seasonal activity from 2012 to 2013 in a poplar-birch forest,ash-walnut forest and broad-leaved Korean pine forest.A total of 5252 individuals, representing 21 species, were collected.Carabid abundance was highest in the broad-leaved Korean pine forest and lowest in the ash-walnut forest.Carabus billbergi Mannerheim and Pterostichus pertinax(Tschitscherine)were the dominant beetle species in each stand.Carabus canaliculatus Adams was dominant in the poplar-birch and ash-walnut forests, and Leistus niger Gebler was dominant in the ash-walnut forest. The carabids were affected differently by stand factors.C.billbergi and P.pertinax was positively correlated with mean DBH.C.canaliculatus and L.niger were not positively correlated with any stand factors. The broad-leaved Korean pine forest with greater age, large DBH and thick leaf litter fostered a high diversity of carabid species. The main yearly activity period for most carabids was during July.Different carabid species responded differently to seasonality, and the activity period of several species was relatively late(August)in the year. | Shengdong Liu Shirui Dong Ruitong Liu Qingfan Meng Yan Li Hongrui Zhao Yinghua Jin | 2022 | Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,1: | 0
Maternal-derived antibodies hinder the antibody response to H9N2 AIV inactivated vaccine in the field显示文摘The H9N2 subtype avian influenza virus(AIV)inactivated vaccine has been used extensively in poultry farms, but it often fails to stimulate a sufficiently high immune response in poultry in the field, although it works well in laboratory experiments;hence, the virus still causes economic damage every year and poses a potential threat to public health.Based on surveillance data collected in the field,we found that broilers with high levels of maternal-derived antibodies(MDAs)against H9N2 virus did not produce high levels of antibodies after vaccination with a commercial H9N2 inactivated vaccine. In contrast, specific pathogen-free(SPF)chickens without MDAs responded efficiently to that vaccination. When MDAs were mimicked by administering passively transferred antibodies(PTAs)into SPF chickens in the laboratory, similar results were observed:H9N2-specific PTAs inhibited humoral immunity against the H9N2 inactivated vaccine, suggesting that H9N2-specific MDAs might hinder the generation of antibodies when H9N2 inactivated vaccine was used. After challenge with homologous H9N2 virus, the virus was detected in oropharyngeal swabs of the vaccinated and unvaccinated chickens with PTAs but not in the vaccinated chickens without PTAs,indicating that H9N2-specific MDAs were indeed one of the reasons for H9N2 inactivated vaccine failure in the field. When different titers of PTAs were used to mimic MDAs in SPF chickens,high(HI=12 log2)and medium(HI=log 9 log2)titers of PTAs reduced the generation of H9N2-specific antibodies after the first vaccination, but a booster dose would induce a high and faster humoral immune response even of PTA interference. This study strongly suggested that high or medium titers of MDAs might explain H9N2 inactivated vaccine failure in the field. | Xue Pan Xin Su Pingyun Ding Jinhua Zhao Hongrui Cui Dawei Yan Qiaoyang Teng Xuesong Li Nancy Beerens Haitao Zhang Qinfang Liu Mart C.M.de Jong Zejun Li | 2022 | Animal Diseases2022,2,2: | 0
Traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of high incidence diseases in cold areas: the thrombotic diseases显示文摘Thrombotic diseases are the leading causes of death worldwide, especially in cold climates.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)-based therapies have gained increasing popularity worldwide, but also raised some concerns about its efficacy, safety profile and exact mechanisms.TCM has been traditionally used in the management of thrombosis and convincingly proven effective in modifying thrombosis progression, particularly the platelet function, coagulation system and fibrinolytic system. This review article focuses on TCM regulation of thrombosis with brief discussion on the fundamental aspects and relevant background information for better understanding of the subject. In addition to its antithrombotic effects,we will dive insight into the cellular and molecular mechanisms of TCM as pharmacological regulators of platelet aggregation, coagulation, and fibrinolysis. With increasing awareness and understanding of the benefits and potentials of TCM,TCM products will in no doubt gain its broader applications in the treatment of thrombosis and associated disorders, which in turn will deepen our understanding of its pharmacological and molecular mechanisms. Finally, current review provides a perspective view on the future directions to TCM research on thrombosis. | Xueqing Tang Xin Liu Monayo Seth Mikaye Hongrui Zhao Yong Zhang | 2021 | Frigid Zone Medicine2021,1,1: | 0
