Biomass-derived activated carbon materials with plentiful heteroatoms for high-performance electrochemical capacitor electrodes显示文摘Activated carbons for electrochemical capacitor electrodes are prepared from soyabean using chemical activation with KOH. The pore size is easily controllable by changing the mass ratio between KOH and carbonized product. The as-prepared materials possess a large specific surface area, unique structure, well- developed hierarchical porosity and plentiful heteroatoms(mainly O and N). Thus resulted in its high specific capacitance, good rate capacity and cycling stability. Moreover, attributing to worldwide availability, renewable nature and low-cost, activated carbon prepared from soyabean has a good potential in energy conversion and storage devices. | Xiangyang Zhou Hongcheng Li Juan Yang | 2016 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2016,25,1: | 4

Effects of nanoscale quantum dots in male Chinese loaches (Misgurnus anguillicaudatus):Estrogenic interference action, toxicokinetics and oxidative stress显示文摘Quantum dots (QDs) have received more and more attention as a novel example of nanocrystals due to their unique fluorescent characteristics. Recently, the toxicity and the potential environmental effects of QDs have become a research hotspot. In this work, in vivo endocrine disrupting effect, toxicokinetics and oxidative stress of QDs were characterized following the intraperitoneal dosing in Chinese loaches. Vitellogenin (Vtg) levels induced by E2 decreased significantly when administrated with the mixture of QDs and E2, which was consistent with the observations of histopathology in testes. The release of free Cd2+ from QDs and the non-specific adsorption of E2 by QDs might be the joint factors contributing to the inhibition of Vtg expression induced by E2 in the male Chinese loaches. In the muscle, bone, intestines, blood and testis, CdSe QDs reached the maximal concentration (Cmax) in approximately 1-h postinjection and subsequently presented downtrend with the prolonged time. Whereas, there were even increasing tendencies of CdSe QDs' concentrations in the liver and kidney. It is educible that CdSe QDs can be persistent at least for 7 days, indicating the overall half-life of CdSe QDs in the fish body is very long. The measurement of hepatic superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and reduced glutathione (GSH) content indicate that QDs have smaller effects on the antioxidative system of the organisms compared with free Cd2+ due to the effective prevention of the release of Cd by PEG coating of QDs. The comprehensive evaluation of QDs' toxicity in the present study provides an essential and general framework towards more focused research on the elucidation of the biological effects of QDs in vivo. | HongCheng Li WenRu Luo Yong Tao Yuan Wu XueFei Lv QunFang Zhou GuiBin Jiang | 2009 | Science China Chemistry2009,52,10: | 2
Life History Recorded in the Vagino-cervical Microbiome Along with Multi-omes显示文摘The vagina contains at least a billion microbial cells, dominated by lactobacilli. Here we perform metagenomic shotgun sequencing on cervical and fecal samples from a cohort of 516 Chinese women of reproductive age,as well as cervical, fecal, and salivary samples from a second cohort of 632 women.Factors such as pregnancy history, delivery history, cesarean section, and breastfeeding were all more important than menstrual cycle in shaping the microbiome, and such information would be necessary before trying to interpret differences between vagino-cervical microbiome data.Greater proportion of Bifidobacterium breve was seen with older age at sexual debut. The relative abundance of lactobacilli especially Lactobacillus crispatus was negatively associated with pregnancy history.Potential markers for lack of menstrual regularity, heavy flow, dysmenorrhea, and contraceptives were also identified.Lactobacilli were rare during breastfeeding or post-menopause.Other features such as mood fluctuations and facial speckles could potentially be predicted from the vagino-cervical microbiome.Gut and salivary microbiomes, plasma vitamins, metals, amino acids, and hormones showed associations with the vagino-cervical microbiome. Our results offer an unprecedented glimpse into the microbiota of the female reproductive tract and call for international collaborations to better understand its long-term health impact other than in the settings of infection or pre-term birth. | Zhuye Jie Chen Chen Lilan Hao Fei Li Liju Song Xiaowei Zhang Jie Zhu Liu Tian Xin Tong Kaiye Cai Zhe Zhang Yanmei Ju Xinlei Yu Ying Li Hongcheng Zhou Haorong Lu Xuemei Qiu Qiang Li Yunli Liao Dongsheng Zhou Heng Lian Yong Zuo Xiaomin Chen Weiqiao Rao Yan Ren Yuan Wang Jin Zi Rong Wang Na Liu Jinghua Wu Wei Zhang Xiao Liu Yang Zong Weibin Liu Liang Xiao Yong Hou Xun Xu Huanming Yang Jian Wang Karsten Kristiansen Huijue Jia | 2022 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,2: | 2
The electrocatalytic activity of BaTiO3 nanoparticles towards polysulfides enables high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘The slow redox dynamics and dissolution of polysulfides in lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries result in poor rate performance and rapid decay of battery capacity, thus limiting their practical application.Ferroelectric barium titanate(BT)nanoparticles have been reported to effectively improve the electrochemical performance of Li-S batteries due to the inherent self-polarization and high adsorption capacity of the BT nanoparticles towards polysulfides. Here in this paper,BT nanoparticles, behave as highly efficient electrocatalyst and demonstrate much higher redox dynamics towards the conversion reaction of polysulfides and Li2S than TiO2,as shown by both electrochemical measurements and density functional theory calculation. The coupling of the sulfur host of the hollow and graphitic carbon flakes(HGCF)and the BT nanoparticles(HGCF/S-BT)enable excellent electrochemical performance of Li-S batteries, delivering a0.047%capacity decay per cycle in 1000 cycles at 1 C,788 mAh g^-1 at 2 C and a reversible capacity of613 mAh g^-1 after 300 cycles at a current density of 0.5 C at a S loading of 3.4 mg cm^-2.HGCF/S-BT also shows great promise for practical application in flexible devices as demonstrated on the soft-packaged Li-S batteries. | Hongcheng Gao Shunlian Ning Jiasui Zou Shuang Men Yuan Zhou Xiujun Wang Xiongwu Kang | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,9: | 2

Pyrrole derivatives as interlayer modifier of Li-S batteries:Modulation of electrochemical performance by molecular perturbation显示文摘The electrochemical performance of lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries is strongly hampered by the shuttle effect and slow redox kinetics of lithium polysulfides(Li PSs).Surface modified interlayer of a separator of Li-S batteries is demonstrated to be an effective strategy to overcome this problem.Herein, cobalt nanoparticles confined in nitrogen co-doped porous carbon framework(Co-CN)were developed from pyrolysis of ZIF-67 and used as interlayer of PP separator for Li-S batteries, and were functionalized by four pyrrole derivatives,1-phenylpyrrole,1-methyl pyrrole,1-(p-toluenesulfonyl)pyrrole,and 1-pyrrole,respectively,which were screened in terms of the electron-withdrawing/donating ability of the substituent groups on the pyrrolic nitrogen. The impact of the molecular structure of pyrrole derivatives on the interaction with Li PSs and the electrochemical performance of Li-S batteries were explored by nuclear magnetic resonance and theoretical calculation. It is uncovered that 1-phenylpyrrole shows the highest enhancement of redox kinetics of Li PSs,attributing to the optimal interaction with Co nanoparticles and Li PSs.Therefore,1-phenylpyrrole modified Co-CN interlayer enables the best electrochemical performance for the Li-S batteries, delivering a specific capacity of 562 m Ah g^(-1)at 5 C and a capacity of 538,526,and 449 m Ah g^(-1)after 500 cycles at 1,2,and 3 C,respectively. At a high sulfur loading of 5.5 mg cm^(-2),it achieves a capacity of 440 m Ah g^(-1)after 500 cycles at 1 C.This work reveals the interaction mechanism among Li PSs,Co nanoparticles and the molecular modifiers in improving the electrochemical performance of Li-S batteries. | Jiajv Lin Yuan Zhou Jingbo Wen Weijie Si Hongcheng Gao Gongming Wang Xiongwu Kang | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,,12: | 1
Determination of Diphenylamine in Gunshot Residue by HPLC‑MS/MS显示文摘A high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS/MS)protocol was developed for the determination of diphenylamine(DPA).Four productions of DPA were selected for qualitative assay and the peak area of the main product ion for quantitation.By means of separation using an Agilent Extend-C18 column(CA,USA)(150 mm×4.6 mm,5μm)with methanol‑water(90:10)as the mobile phase,DPA was detected by electrospray ionization(ESI)tandem mass spectrometry in positive mode. The linearity of the peak area versus concentration ranged 5‑500 ng/mL,r^(2)=0.9978.The limit of detection(S/N=3)of this method was 0.3 ng/mL.This method is applicable for the determination of DPA in gunshot residue. | Hongcheng Mei Yangke Quan Wenhao Wang Hong Zhou Zhanfang Liu Huixia Shi Peng Wang | 2016 | Journal of Forensic Science and Medicine2016,2,1: | 1

LncRNA109897-JrCCR4-JrTLP1b forms a positive feedback loop to regulate walnut resistance against anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides显示文摘Walnut anthracnose induced by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides is a disastrous disease that severely restricts the development of the walnut industry in China.Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)are involved in adaptive responses to disease, but their roles in the regulation of walnut anthracnose resistance response are not well defined. In this study, transcriptome analysis demonstrated that a C.gloeosporioides-induced lncRNA,lncRNA109897,located upstream from the target gene JrCCR4,upregulated the expression of JrCCR4.JrCCR4 interacted with JrTLP1b and promoted its transcriptional activity. In turn,JrTLP1b induced the transcription of lncRNA109897 to promote its expression.Meanwhile, transient expression in walnut leaves and stable transformation of Arabidopsis thaliana further proved that lncRNA,JrCCR4,and JrTLP1b improve the resistance of C.gloeosporioides.Collectively,these findings provide insights into the mechanism by which the lncRNA109897-JrCCR4-JrTLP1b transcriptional cascade regulates the resistance of walnut to anthracnose. | Rui Zhou Yuhui Dong Changxi Wang Jianning Liu Qiang Liang Xiaoye Meng Xinya Lang Shengyi Xu Wenjun Liu Shuhui Zhang Nan Wang Ke Qiang Yang Hongcheng Fang | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,6: | 0
A spawning particle filter for defocused moving target detection in GNSS-based passive radar显示文摘Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)-based passive radar(GBPR)has been widely used in remote sensing applications. However, for moving target detection(MTD),the quadratic phase error(QPE)introduced by the non-cooperative target motion is usually difficult to be compensated,as the low power level of the GBPR echo signal renders the estimation of the Doppler rate less effective.Consequently, the moving target in GBPR image is usually defocused, which aggravates the difficulty of target detection even further. In this paper,a spawning particle filter(SPF)is proposed for defocused MTD.Firstly, the measurement model and the likelihood ratio function(LRF)of the defocused point-like target image are deduced. Then,a spawning particle set is generated for subsequent target detection, with reference to traditional particles in particle filter(PF)as their parent. After that, based on the PF estimator, the SPF algorithm and its sequential Monte Carlo(SMC)implementation are proposed with a novel amplitude estimation method to decrease the target state dimension. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed SPF is demonstrated by numerical simulations and pre-liminary experimental results, showing that the target range and Doppler can be estimated accurately. | ZENG Hongcheng DENG Jiadong WANG Pengbo ZHOU Xinkai YANG Wei CHEN Jie | 2023 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2023,34,5: | 0
Rabi oscillations in a stretching molecule显示文摘Rabi oscillation is an elementary laser-driven physical process in atoms and artificial atoms from solid-state systems, while it is rarely demonstrated in molecules. Here,we investigate the bond-length-dependent Rabi oscillations with varying Rabi frequencies in strong-laser-field dissociation of H2+.The coupling of the bond stretching and Rabi oscillations makes the nuclei gain different kinetic energies while the electron is alternatively absorbing and emitting photons. The resulting proton kinetic energy spectra show rich structures beyond the prediction of the Floquet theorem and the well-accepted resonant one-photon dissociation pathway. Our study shows that the laser-driven Rabi oscillations accompanied by nuclear motions are essential to understanding the bond-breaking mechanism and provide a time-resolved perspective to manipulate rich dynamics of the strong-laser-field dissociation of molecules. | Shengzhe Pan Chenxi Hu Wenbin Zhang Zhaohan Zhang Lianrong Zhou Chenxu Lu Peifen Lu Hongcheng Ni Jian Wu Feng He | 2023 | Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,2: | 0
Low-Energy Protons in Strong-Field Dissociation of H_(2)^(+) via Dipole-Transitions at Large Bond Lengths显示文摘More than ten years ago,the observation of the low-energy structure in the photoelectron energy spectrum, regarded as an“ionization surprise,”has overthrown our understanding of strong-field physics. However, the similar low-energy nuclear fragment generation from dissociating molecules upon the photon energy absorption, one of the well-observed phenomena in light-molecule interaction, still lacks an unambiguous mechanism and remains mysterious. Here,we introduce a time-energy-resolved manner using a multicycle near-infrared femtosecond laser pulse to identify the physical origin of the light-induced ultrafast dynamics of molecules.By simultaneously measuring the bond-stretching times and photon numbers involved in the dissociation of H_(2)^(+) driven by a polarization-skewed laser pulse,we reveal that the low-energy protons(below 0.7 eV)are produced via dipole-transitions at large bond lengths. The observed low-energy protons originate from strong-field dissociation of high vibrational states rather than the low ones of H_(2)^(+) cation, which is distinct from the well-accepted bond-softening picture.Further numerical simulation of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation unveils that the electronic states are periodically distorted by the strong laser field, and the energy gap between the field-dressed transient electronic states may favor the one-or three-photon transitions at the internuclear distance larger than 5 a.u.The time-dependent scenario and our time-energy-resolved approach presented here can be extended to other molecules to understand the complex ultrafast dynamics. | Shengzhe Pan Chenxi Hu Zhaohan Zhang Peifen Lu Chenxu Lu Lianrong Zhou Jiawei Wang Fenghao Sun Junjie Qiang Hui Li Hongcheng Ni Xiaochun Gong Feng He Jian Wu | 2022 | Ultrafast Science2022,,2: | 0
Studies of the Anomaly of Hall Coefficient in High T_(c) Superconducting Thin Films显示文摘Measurements of the Hall coefficient(RH)were carried out for a polycrystalline YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7-y) film,a well oriented YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7-y) film and an oriented GdBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7-y) film.Sign change of RH was observed for the two YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7-y) films near Tc,but not for the GdBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7-y) film which contains partly the component of(110)orientation.The RH anisotropy model proposed previously turns out to be incorrect. Why the YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7-y) films experience sign change of RH while the GdBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7-y) film does not is tentatively investigated. | HE Zhenhui SHA Jian SU Zhenpeng CHENG Xiang ai WANG Shunxi FANG Minghu ZHANG Qirui ZHOU Xianyi YAO Weiguo QI Zhenzhong YI Huairen LI Hongcheng | 1991 | Chinese Physics Letters1991,8,6: | 0
