| 1 | Physical sensors for skin-inspired electronics显示文摘Skin,the largest organ in the human body,is sensitive to external stimuli.In recent years,an increasing number of skin-inspired electronics,including wearable electronics,implantable electronics,and electronic skin,have been developed because of their broad applications in healthcare and robotics.Physical sensors are one of the key building blocks of skin-inspired electronics.Typical physical sensors include mechanical sensors,temperature sensors,humidity sensors,electrophysiological sensors,and so on.In this review,we systematically review the latest advances of skin-inspired mechanical sensors,temperature sensors,and humidity sensors.The working mechanisms,key materials,device structures,and performance of various physical sensors are summarized and discussed in detail.Their applications in health monitoring,human disease diagnosis and treatment,and intelligent robots are reviewed.In addition,several novel properties of skin-inspired physical sensors such as versatility,self-healability,and implantability are introduced.Finally,the existing challenges and future perspectives of physical sensors for practical applications are discussed and proposed. | Shuo Li Yong Zhang Yiliang Wang Kailun Xia Zhe Yin Huimin Wang Mingchao Zhang Xiaoping Liang Haojie Lu Mengjia Zhu Haomin Wang Xinyi Shen Yingying Zhang | 2020 | InfoMat2020,2,1: | 5 |
| 2 | Silkworm Silk Fibers with Multiple Reinforced Properties Obtained through Feeding Ag Nanowires显示文摘Silkworm silk fbers have been woven into textiles for thousands of years,because of their attractive luster,good mechanical properties,excellent biocompatibility,and large-scale production.With the development of human society,preparation of silk fbers with modifed or enhanced properties are highly desirable for potential applications in structural materials and smart textiles.Herein,we realized the reinforcement of multiple properties of silk fbers by feeding silkworms with Ag nanowire(Ag NW)modifed diets.The obtained silk fbers show obviously enhanced comprehensive mechanical properties,including improved tensile strength,elongation at break,tensile modulus,and toughness,which are increased by 37.2%,37.6%,68.3%,and 69.8%,respectively.Furthermore,compared with unmodifed silk,the electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity of modifed silk fbers are improved by 246.4%and 32.1%,respectively.The analysis on the components and structure shows that the incorporated Ag NWs lead to increased content of random coil/α-helix,improved orientation of crystallites,and increased content of Ag compared to pristine silk fbers,which may contribute to the enhanced mechanical,electrical,and thermal properties. | Haojie Lu Muqiang Jian Zhe Yin Kailun Xia Shaoyi Shi Mingchao Zhang Huimin Wang Xiaoping Liang Weigang Ma Xing Zhang Yingying Zhang | 2022 | Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,3: | 2 |
| 3 | The interplay of single-particle and collective motions in the low-lying states of ^(21)_(A)Ne with quadrupole-octupole correlations显示文摘The beyond mean-field approach for low-lying hypernuclear states is extended by mixing the configurations associated with both single-particle and quadrupole-octupole collective excitations within the generator coordinate method based on a covariant den-sity functional theory.The method is demonstrated in the application to the low-lying states of 21ΛNe,where the configurations with theΛhyperon occupying the first(Λ_(s))and second(Λ_(p))lowest-energy states are considered.The results indicate that the positive-parity states are dominated by theα+^(12)C+α+Λ_(s) structure.In contrast,the low-lying negative-parity states are domi-nated by a strong admixture ofα+16O+Λ_(s) structure andα+12C+α+Λ_(p) structure due to the inclusion of octupole correlations.As a result,the low-lying negative-parity states become much lower than what is expected from the previous studies without the mixing,and the electric multipole transition strengths are significantly quenched. | HaoJie Xia XianYe Wu Hua Mei JiangMing Yao | 2023 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,5: | 1 |
| 4 | Controllable two-dimensional Kerr and Raman–Kerr frequency combs in microbottle resonators with selectable dispersion显示文摘We report a broadband two-dimensional(2 D) Kerr and Raman–Kerr frequency comb generation in a silica bottle resonator accounting for azimuthal and axial degrees of freedom and pioneer a method that allows for controlled and reversible switching between a four wave mixing(FWM) state and a stimulated Raman scattering state. The repetition rate of the Raman–Kerr comb is not an integer number of the free spectral range, which spans more than 242 nm with hundreds of teeth. We show that, experimentally and numerically, multiple 2 D comb regimes can be selectively accessed via dispersion engineering by exciting different orders of axial modes or modifying the curvature of the axial profile, involving cascaded FWM, Raman lasing, and Raman-assisted FWM. The effect of axial curvature on dispersion is associated with the axial mode number in bottle resonators. | 5 | Mechanically Reinforced Silkworm Silk Fiber by Hot Stretching显示文摘Silkworm silk,which is obtained from domesticated Bombyx mori(B.mori),can be produced in a large scale.However,the mechanical properties of silkworm silk are inferior to its counterpart,spider dragline silk.Therefore,researchers are continuously exploring approaches to reinforce silkworm silk.Herein,we report a facile and scalable hot stretching process to reinforce natural silk fibers obtained from silkworm cocoons.Experimental results show that the obtained hot-stretched silk fibers(HSSFs)retain the chemical components of the original silk fibers while being endowed with increasedβ-sheet nanocrystal content and crystalline orientation,leading to enhanced mechanical properties.Significantly,the average modulus of the HSSFs reaches 21:6±2:8 GPa,which is about twice that of pristine silkworm silk fibers(11:0±1:7 GPa).Besides,the tensile strength of the HSSFs reaches 0:77±0:13 GPa,which is also obviously higher than that of the pristine silk(0:56±0:08 GPa).The results show that the hot stretching treatment is effective and efficient for producing superstiff,strong,and tough silkworm silk fibers.We anticipate this approach may be also effective for reinforcing other natural or artificial polymer fibers or films containing abundant hydrogen bonds. | Haojie Lu Kailun Xia Muqiang Jian Xiaoping Liang Zhe Yin Mingchao Zhang Huimin Wang Haomin Wang Shuo Li Yingying Zhang | 2022 | Research2022,,3: | 1 |
| 6 | Association between sex hormone-binding globulin and kidney function in men: results from the SPECT-China study显示文摘Background::The association between sex hormone-binding globulin(SHBG)and renal function has rarely been reported in men.We aimed to investigate the above association in a community-based Chinese population.Methods::A total of 5027 men were included from the survey on prevalence for metabolic diseases and risk factors,which is a population-based study conducted from 2014 to 2016 in Eastern China.The estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)was calculated according to the chronic kidney disease Epidemiology Collaboration equation.Low eGFR was defined as eGFR<60 mL·min-1·1.73 m-2.Results::After adjusting for age,smoking,metabolic factors,and testosterone,through increasing quartiles of SHBG,a significantly positive association between SHBG quartiles and eGFR was detected in men(Q1 vs.Q4,β-2.53,95%confidence interval-3.89,-1.17,Ptrend<0.001).Compared with the highest quartile of SHBG,SHBG in the lowest quartile was associated with 96%higher odds of low eGFR(odds ratio 1.96,95%confidence interval 1.10,3.48)in the model after full adjustment.According to the stratified analyses,the associations between a 1-standard deviation increase in serum SHBG and the prevalence of low eGFR were significant in men aged≥60 years old,waist circumference<90 cm,diabetes(no),hypertension(yes),dyslipidemia(no),and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(no).Conclusions::Lower serum SHBG levels were significantly associated with lower eGFR and a higher prevalence of low eGFR in Chinese men independent of demographics,lifestyle,metabolic-related risk factors,and testosterone.Large prospective cohort and basic mechanistic studies are warranted in the future. | Haojie Zhang Chi Chen Xuan Zhang Yuying Wang Heng Wan Yi Chen Wen Zhang Fangzhen Xia Yingli Lu Ningjian Wang | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,17: | 1 |

| 8 | Beyond mean-field approach for pear-shaped hypernuclei显示文摘We develop both relativistic mean field and beyond approaches for hypernuclei with possible quadrupole-octupole deformation or pear-like shapes based on relativistic point-coupling energy density functionals. The symmetries broken in the mean-field states are recovered with parity, particle-number and angular momentum projections. We take_Λ^(21)Ne as an example to illustrate the method, where the Λ hyperon is put on one of the two lowest-energy orbits(labeled as Λ_s, Λ_p), respectively. We find that the Λ hyperon in both cases disfavors the formation of a reflection-asymmetric molecular-like^(16)O+α structure in^(20)Ne, which is consistent with the Nilsson diagram for the hyperon in(β_2, β_3) deformation plane. In particular, we show that the negative-parity states with the configuration^(20)Ne(K~π= 0^-) Λ_s are close in energy to those with the configuration^(20)Ne(K~π= 0^+)Λ_p, even though they have very different structures. | 9 | Scale and scope of maritime cargoes through the Arctic Passages显示文摘This paper investigates the sources of goods being shipped through the Arctic passages,and trade generated in the Arctic,including oil and gas exploitation.Furthermore,it assesses the present situation for maritime cargo shipped from the Far East to Northwestern Europe and North America.Two main types of cargo are predicted to pass through the Arctic passages in the future.First,about 10 million t of liquefied natural gas will be delivered from Russia and the Nordic Arctic to the Far East by 2030.Second,there will be two-way trade flow of containerized cargo from the Far East to Europe and the United States through the Northeast,Central and Northwest Passages.This will relieve pressure on present routes from the Far East to Northwestern Europe and North America.If Arctic navigation is technically possible in all seasons and shipping costs fall to those of ordinary ships,then assuming an equal share of shipping volume with the traditional canal routes,the maximum container freight passing through the Arctic passages by 2030 will be approximately 17.43 million TEUs(Twenty-foot Equivalent Units)per year,which is 85%of the volume transported on traditional canal routes in 2011.We conclude that there will be large-scale gas transportation through the Northeast Passage in the near future,and transit shipping across the Arctic will focus more on container transportation.The differences in shipping costs between Arctic routes and traditional canal routes are also compared. | ZHANG Xia SHOU Jianmin ZHOU Haojie | 2013 | Advances in Polar Science2013,24,3: | 0 |
