2Geothermal investigation of the thickness of gas hydrate stability zone in the north continental margin of the South China Sea显示文摘The exploration of unconventional and/or new energy resources has become the focus of energy research worldwide,given the shortage of fossil fuels.As a potential energy resource,gas hydrate exists only in the environment of high pressure and low temperature,mainly distributing in the sediments of the seafloor in the continental margins and the permafrost zones in land.The accurate determination of the thickness of gas hydrate stability zone is essential yet challenging in the assessment of the exploitation potential.The majority of previous studies obtain this thickness by detecting the bottom simulating reflectors(BSRs) layer on the seismic profiles.The phase equilibrium between gas hydrate stable state with its temperature and pressure provides an opportunity to derive the thickness with the geothermal method.Based on the latest geothermal dataset,we calculated the thickness of the gas hydrate stability zone(GHSZ) in the north continental margin of the South China Sea.Our results indicate that the thicknesses of gas hydrate stability zone vary greatly in different areas of the northern margin of the South China Sea.The thickness mainly concentrates on 200–300 m and distributes in the southwestern and eastern areas with belt-like shape.We further confirmed a certain relationship between the GHSZ thickness and factors such as heat flow and water depth.The thickness of gas hydrate stability zone is found to be large where the heat flow is relatively low.The GHSZ thickness increases with the increase of the water depth,but it tends to stay steady when the water depth deeper than 3 000 m.The findings would improve the assessment of gas hydrate resource potential in the South China Sea.WANG Yanmin LIU Shaowen HAO Feifei ZHAO Yunlong HAO Chunyan 2017Acta Oceanologica Sinica2017,36,4:3
3Biochar Supported Nanoscale Zero-valent Iron Composites for the Removal of Petroleum from Wastewater显示文摘Considering the need for efficiently and rapidly treating oily wastewater while preventing secondary pollution,the nanoscale zero-valent iron(nZVI)was supported on biochar prepared by using a spent mushroom substrate(SMS),to produce an iron-carbon composite(SMS-nZVI).The ability of the SMS-nZVI to treat wastewater containing high concentration of oil was then comprehensively evaluated.The morphology,structure,and other properties of the composite were characterized by using scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller nitrogen sorption analysis,and the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.The results show that the biochar prepared by using the SMS can effectively prevent the agglomeration of nZVI and increase the overall specific surface area,thereby enhancing the absorption of petroleum by the composite.Experiments reveal that compared with the SMS and nZVI,the SMS-nZVI composite removes petroleum faster and more efficiently from wastewater.Under optimized conditions involving an nZVI to biochar mass ratio of 1:5 and a pH value of 4,the efficiency for removal of petroleum from wastewater with an initial petroleum concentration of 1000 mg/L could reach 95%within 5 h.Based on a natural aging treatment involving exposure to air for 30 d,the SMS-nZVI composite retained an oil removal rate of higher than 62%,and this result could highlight its stability for practical applications.Qin Feifei Xu Wenfei Hao Boyu Yin Linghao Song Jiayu Zhang Xiuxia 2021China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,4:2
4Data-Driven Discovery in Mineralogy: Recent Advances in Data Resources, Analysis, and Visualization显示文摘Large and growing data resources on the diversity, distribution, and properties of minerals are ushering in a new era of data-driven discovery in mineralogy. The most comprehensive international mineral database is the IMA database, which includes information on more than 5400 approved mineral species and their properties, and the mindat.org data source, which contains more than 1 million species/locality data on minerals found at more than 300 000 localities. Analysis and visualization of these data with diverse techniques—including chord diagrams, cluster diagrams, Klee diagrams, skyline diagrams, and varied methods of network analysis—are leading to a greater understanding of the co-evolving geosphere and biosphere. New data-driven approaches include mineral evolution, mineral ecology, and mineral network analysis—methods that collectively consider the distribution and diversity of minerals through space and time. These strategies are fostering a deeper understanding of mineral co-occurrences and, for the first time, facilitating predictions of mineral species that occur on Earth but have yet to be discovered and described.Robert M. 5Ni3S2 nanorods growing directly on Ni foam for all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor and efficient overall water splitting显示文摘Transition metal compounds are attractive for their significant applications in supercapacitors and as non-noble metal catalysts for electrochemical water splitting.Herein,we develop Ni3 S2 nanorods growing directly on Ni foam,which act as multifunctional additive-free Ni3 S2@Ni electrode for supercapacitor and overall water splitting.Based on PVA-KOH gel electrolyte,the assembled all-solid-state Ni3 S2@Ni//AC asymmetric supercapacitor delivers a high areal energy density of 0.52 mWh cm^-2 at an areal power density of 9.02 MW cm^-2,and exhibits an excellent cycling stability with a capacitance retention ratio of 89%after 10000 GCD cycles at a current density of 30 mA cm^-2.For hydrogen evolution reaction and oxygen evolution reaction in 1 M KOH,Ni3 S2@Ni electrode achieves a benchmark of 10 mA cm^-2at overpotentials of 82 mV and 310 mV,respectively.Furthermore,the assembled Ni3 S2@Ni‖Ni3 S2@Ni electrolyzer for overall water splitting attains a current density of 10 mA cm^-2 at 1.61 V.The in-situ synthesis of Ni3 S2@Ni electrode enriches the applications of additive-free transition metal compounds in high-performance energy storage devices and efficient electrocatalysis.Baoxin Wu Hao Qian Zhongwu Nie Zhongping Luo Zixu Wu Peng Liu Hao He Jianghong Wu Shuguang Chen Feifei Zhang 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,7:2

7Harnessing chemical functions of ionic liquids for perovskite solar cells显示文摘The remarkable ramping of record power conversion efficiencies in perovskite solar cells(PSCs) has stimulated the growth of this technology towards commercialization. However, there remain challenges and opportunities for further improving their efficiency and stability. Featuring the variety of functional group in the constituting ions, ionic liquids(ILs) exhibit versatile properties and functions that can be leveraged to the development of improved PSCs. Herein with a systematic review on the recent progress in the application of ILs to PSCs, we show that based on the different roles of ILs in the film and device settings, IL can facilitate the thin-film synthesis of perovskites, improve the properties of chargetransport layers, and ameliorate the interfacial energetics at device interfaces. 10A waterproof and breathable Cotton/rGO/CNT composite for constructing a layer-by-layer structured multifunctional flexible sensor显示文摘Developing a cotton fabric sensing layer with good waterproofness and breathability via a low-cost and eco-friendly method is increasingly important for the construction of comfortable and wearable electronic devices.Herein,a waterproof and breathable cotton fabric composite decorated by reduced graphene oxide(rGO)and carbon nanotube(CNT),Cotton/rGO/CNT,is reported by a facile solution infiltration method,and we adopt such Cotton/rGO/CNT composite to develop a layer-by-layer structured multifunctional flexible sensor,enabling the high-sensitivity detection of pressure and temperature stimulus.Particularly,the multifunctional flexible sensor exhibits a high response toward tiny pressure,demonstrating salient superiority in the continuous and reliable monitoring of human physiological information.Concerning temperature sensing,a good linear response for the temperatures ranging from 28 to 40℃ is achieved by the multifunctional flexible sensor and gives rise to be successfully applied to the non-contact real-time monitoring of human respiration signal.Finally,an array consisting of multifunctional flexible sensors further demonstrates its feasibility in perceiving and mapping the pressure and temperature information of contact objects.This work provides a feasible strategy for designing cotton-based sensing layers that can effectively resist liquid water penetration and allow water vapor transmission,and offers reasonable insight for constructing comfort and multifunctional wearable electronics.Feifei Yin Yunjian Guo Hao Li Wenjing Yue Chunwei Zhang Duo Chen Wei Geng Yang Li Song Gao Guozhen Shen 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:1

13Shunxin decoction(顺心组方) improves diastolic function in rats with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction induced by abdominal aorta constriction through cyclic guanosine monophosphate-dependent protein kinase Signaling Pathway显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To determine whether Shunxin decoction(顺心组方) improves diastolic function in rats with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(HFp EF) by regulating the cyclic guanosine monophosphatedependent protein kinase(c GMP-PKG) signaling pathway. METHODS: Except for control group 8 and sham surgery group 8, the remaining 32 male Sprague-Dawlay rats were developed into HFp EF rat models using the abdominal aorta constriction method. These rats in the HFp EF model were randomly divided into the model group, the Shunxin high-dose group, the Shunxin lowdose group, and the Qiliqiangxin capsule group. The three groups received high-dose Shunxin decoction, lowdose Shunxin decoction, and Qiliqiangxin capsule by gavage, respectively, for 14 d. After the intervention, the diastolic function of each rat was evaluated by testing E/A, heart index, hematoxylin-eosin staining, Masson, myocardial ultrastructure, and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP). The Bioinformatics Analysis Tool for Molecular Mechanism of Traditional Chinese Medicine(BATMAN-TCM) software was used to predict targets for which Shunxin decoction acts on the c GMP-PKG pathway. Natriuretic peptide receptor A(NPRA) and guanylate cyclase(GC) were detected by immunohistochemistry, and e NOS, phosphodiesterase 5A(PDE5A), and c GMP-dependent protein kinase 1(PKG I) were determined by Western blotting. RESULTS: Compared to the model group, the thickness of the interventricular septum at the end of diastole(IVSd) and the thickness of the posterior wall at the end of diastole(PWd) of the Shunxin decoction high-dose group, Shunxin decoction low-dose group, and Qiliqiangxin capsule group were all significantly reduced(P < 0.01). Furthermore, Shunxin decoction high-dose group E/A value was decreased(P < 0.01). Compared to the model group, the expression of NPRA and GC increased in the Shunxin decoction low-dose group and the Qiliqiangxin capsule group(P < 0.01). Compared to the model group, the expressions of e NOS and PKG I increased(P < 0.05) in the Shunxin decoction high-dose group. The expression of PDE5A expression decreased in the myocardium of the Shunxin decoction high-dose group, Shunxin decoction low-dose group, and Qiliqiangxin capsule group compared to the model group(P < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS: Shunxin decoction can improve diastolic function in rats with HFp EF. It increases the expression of NPRA, GC, and e NOS in the myocardial cell c GMP-PKG signaling pathway, upregulates c GMP expression, decreases PDE5A expression to reduce the c GMP degradation. 14Aureane-type sesquiterpene tetraketides as a novel class of immunomodulators with interleukin-17A inhibitory activity显示文摘Interleukin(IL)-17A,a pro-inflammatory cytokine,is a fundamental function in the onset and advancement of multiple immune diseases.To uncover the primary compounds with IL-17A inhibitory activity,a large-scale screening of the library of traditional Chinese medicine constituents and microbial secondary metabolites was conducted using splenic cells from IL-17A-GFP reporter mice cultured under Th17-priming conditions.Our results indicated that some aureane-type sesquiterpene tetraketides isolated from a wetland mud-derived fungus,Myrothecium gramineum,showed remarkable IL-17A inhibitory activity.Nine new aureane-type sesquiterpene tetraketides,myrogramins A-I(1,4-11),and two known ones(2 and 3)were isolated and identified from the strain.Compounds 1,3,4,10,and 11 exhibited significant IL-17A inhibitory activity.Among them,compound 3,with a high fermentation yield dosedependently inhibited the generation of IL-17A and suppressed glycolysis in splenic cells under Th17-priming conditions.Strikingly,compound 3 suppressed immunopathology in both IL-17A-mediated animal models of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis and pulmonary hypertension.Our results revealed that aureane-type sesquiterpene tetraketides are a novel class of immunomodulators with IL-17A inhibitory activity,and hold great promise applications in treating IL-17A-mediated immune diseases.Xin Tang Chuanxi Wang Lei Wang Feifei Ren Runqiao Kuang Zhenhua Li Xue Han Yiming Chen Guodong Chen Xiuqing Wu Jie Liu Hengwen Yang Xingzhong Liu Chen Wang Hao Gao Zhinan Yin 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,9:0
15Cultivating global health professionals: evaluation of a training course to develop international consulting service competence in China显示文摘Background:China’s accelerating development and increasingly important role in global health engagement create a great demand for global health professionals including international consulting experts.This study reported the detailed development and evaluation of an international consulting training for global health workforce.Methods:Based on Kirkpatrick’s model,a mixed-methods approach was used to evaluate the effectiveness of the training.Quantitative and qualitative data on participants’reaction,learning,and application of the learned knowledge and skills were collected by a training evaluation survey at the ending of training and a follow-up interview in three months after the training.Results:Thirty-six participants attended the training and 34 of them completed quantitative investigation.The training satisfaction evaluations were positive,for which participants rated the training program highly and over 90%of them agreed with the usefulness of the training.About knowledge and skills change,participants showed improved consulting knowledge and skills from pre-to post-training(P<0.001).A total of 23 participants accepted follow-up interview,and most participants applied knowledge and skills learned from the training in their daily work or study.However,only 30.4%of participants applied their learning in the consulting program.The largest barrier of application was the lack of consulting opportunities.In addition,almost all the participants reported that they would be glad to attend more training courses in the future.Conclusion:The international consulting training program was well-received,and was feasible to improve the consulting service competence of global health professionals.According to participants’feedback,it is essential to develop and expand consulting training in the field of global health.Pan Gao Li Guan Yisi Liu Feifei Liu Wenyuan Yu Xiangyu Li Suyang Liu Yuanan Lu Hao Li Hao Xiang 2020Global Health Journal2020,4,2:0
16Structure-based drug discovery of novel fusedpyrazolone carboxamide derivatives as potent and selective AXL inhibitors显示文摘a novel and promising antitumor target,AXL plays an important role in tumor growth,metastasis,immunosuppression and drug resistance of various malignancies,which has attracted extensive research interest in recent years.In this study,by employing the structure-based drug design and bioisosterism strategies,we designed and synthesized in total 54 novel AXL inhibitors featuring a fusedpyrazolone carboxamide scaffold,of which up to 20 compounds exhibited excellent AXL kinase and BaF3/TEL-AXL cell viability inhibitions.Notably,compound 59 showed a desirable AXL kinase inhibitory activity(IC_(50):3.5 nmol/L)as well as good kinase selectivity,and it effectively blocked the cellular AXL signaling.In turn,compound 59 could potently inhibit BaF3/TEL-AXL cell viability(IC_(50):1.5 nmol/L)and significantly suppress GAS6/AXL-mediated cancer cell invasion,migration and wound healing at the nanomolar level.More importantly,compound 59 oral administration showed good pharmacokinetic profile and in vivo antitumor efficiency,in which we observed significant AXL phosphorylation suppression,and its antitumor efficacy at 20 mg/kg(qd)was comparable to that of BGB324 at 50 mg/kg(bid),the most advanced AXL inhibitor.Taken together,this work provided a valuable lead compound as a potential AXL inhibitor for the further antitumor drug development.Feifei Fang Yang Dai Hao Wang Yinchun Ji Xuewu Liang Xia Peng Jiyuan Li Yangrong Zhao Chunpu Li Danyi Wangh Yazhou Li Dong Zhang Dan Zhang Meiyu Geng Hong Liu Jing Ai Yu Zhou 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,12:0
17Design and performance improvement of SiNPs@graphene@C composite with a popcorn structure显示文摘Silicon anodes are considered to be the most promising alternatives owing to their theoretical specific capacity,which is almost 10 times higher than that of graphite anodes.However,huge volume changes during charging and discharging affect their interface stability,which strongly limits their application in commercial batteries.Herein,a popcorn-structured silicon-carbon composite(SiNPs@graphene@C),composed of silicon nanoparticles(SiNPs),graphene spheres and pitch-based carbon,is prepared by spraydrying followed by a wet process.The resulting SiNPs@graphene@C composite has good flexibility and elastic-strain capacity due to the graphene substrate,and it possesses macrostructural integrity and mechanical stability during cycling due to the rigid carbon–carbon chemical bonds.As a result,it shows a discharge-specific capacity of 481.3 mAh g^(-1)and a capacity retention of 82.9%after 500 cycles at 1 A g^(-1).Besides,the initial coulomb efficiency is increased from 65.7%to 86.5%by pre-lithiation,which improves the feasibility of commercialising the SiNPs@graphene@C composite.Hong Dong Feifei Zong Jie Wang Hao Ding Peng Wang Ru Song Ningshuang Zhang Xuchun Cui Shiyou Li 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,9:0
18Fractional-Order Modeling and Dynamical Analysis of a Francis Hydro-Turbine Governing System with Complex Penstocks显示文摘This paper investigates the stability of the Francis hydro-turbine governing system with complex penstocks in the grid-connected mode. Firstly, a novel fractional-order nonlinear mathematical model of a Francis hydro-turbine governing system with complex penstocks is built from an engineering application perspective. This model is described by state-space equations and is composed of the Francis hydro-turbine model, the fractional-order complex penstocks model, the third-order generator model, and the hydraulic speed governing system model. Based on stability theory for a fractional-order nonlinear system, this study discovers a basic law of the bifurcation points of the above system with a change in the fractional-order a. Secondly, the stable region of the governing system is investigated in detail,and nonlinear dynamical behaviors of the system are identified and studied exhaustively via bifurcation diagrams, time waveforms, phase orbits, Poincare maps, power spectrums and spectrograms. 19Introgression of QTL from Aegilops tauschii enhances yield-related traits in common wheat显示文摘To break the narrow diversity bottleneck of the wheat D genome, a set of Aegilops tauschii-wheat introgression(A-WI) lines was developed by crossing Ae. tauschii accession T015 with common wheat elite cultivar Zhoumai 18(Zhou18). A high-density genetic map was constructed based on Single Nucleotide Polymorphism(SNP) markers and 15 yield-related traits were evaluated in 11 environments for detecting quantitative trait loci(QTL). A total of 27 environmentally stable QTL were identified in at least five environments, 20 of which were derived from Ae. tauschii T015, explaining up to 24.27% of the phenotypic variations. The major QTL for kernel length(KL), QKl-2D.5, was delimited to a physical interval of approximately 2.6 Mb harboring 52 candidate genes. Three Kompetitive Allele Specific PCR(KASP)markers were successfully developed based on nonsynonymous nucleotide mutations of candidate gene AetT093_2Dv1G100900.1 and showed that A-WI lines with the T015 haplotype had significantly longer KL than the Zhou18 haplotype across all 11 environments. Four primary valuable A-WIs with good trait performance and carrying yield-related QTL were selected for breeding improvement.
