1Malus-metasurface-assisted polarization multiplexing显示文摘Polarization optics plays a pivotal role in diffractive,refractive,and emerging flat optics,and has been widely employed in contemporary optical industries and daily life.Advanced polarization manipulation leads to robust control of the polarization direction of light.Nevertheless,polarization control has been studied largely independent of the phase or intensity of light.Here,we propose and experimentally validate a Malus-metasurface-assisted paradigm to enable simultaneous and independent control of the intensity and phase properties of light simply by polarization modulation.The orientation degeneracy of the classical Malus’s law implies a new degree of freedom and enables us to establish a one-to-many mapping strategy for designing anisotropic plasmonic nanostructures to engineer the Pancharatnam–Berry phase profile,while keeping the continuous intensity modulation unchanged.The proposed Malus metadevice can thus generate a near-field greyscale pattern,and project an independent far-field holographic image using an ultrathin and single-sized metasurface.This concept opens up distinct dimensions for conventional polarization optics,which allows one to merge the functionality of phase manipulation into an amplitudemanipulation-assisted optical component to form a multifunctional nano-optical device without increasing the complexity of the nanostructures.It can empower advanced applications in information multiplexing and encryption,anti-counterfeiting,dual-channel display for virtual/augmented reality,and many other related fields.Liangui Deng Juan Deng Zhiqiang Guan Jin Tao Yang Chen Yan Yang Daxiao Zhang Jibo Tang Zhongyang Li Zile Li Shaohua Yu Guoxing Zheng Hongxing Xu Cheng-Wei Qiu Shuang Zhang 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:7
2Filling ability of semi-solid A356 aluminum alloy slurry in rheo-diecasting显示文摘The effects of slurry temperature,injection pressure,and piston velocity on the rheo-filling ability of semisolid A356 al- loys were studied by the reho-diecasting methods.The results show that the slurry temperature of the semi-solid A356 aluminum al- loy has an important effect on the filling ability;the higher the slurry temperature,the better is the filling ability,and the appropriate slurry temperature for rheo-filling is in the range of 585-595℃.The injection pressure also has a great effect on the filling ability, and it is appropriate to the rheo-filling when the injection pressure is in the range of 15-25 MPa.The piston velocity also has a great effect on the filling ability,and it is appropriate to the rheo-filling when the piston velocity is in the range of 0.072-0.12 m/s.The filling ability of the slurry prepared by low superheat pouring with weak electromagnetic stirring is very good and the microstructural distribution in the rheo-formed die castings is homogeneous,which is advantageous to the high quality die casting.Yuelong Bai Weimin Mao Songfu Gao Guoxing Tang Jun Xu 2008Journal of University of Science and Technology Beijing2008,15,1:5
3Cloned goats (Gapra hircus) from foetal fibroblast cell lines显示文摘Mammalian cloning has been one of the most active research topics in the world. Cioning with in vitro culured foetal fibroblast cells, in comparison with embryonic cells, can be used not only to theoretically study the embryonic or cellular development and differentiation in mammals, but also to utilize the unlimited fibroblast cells to produce large numbers of clonings. The preliminary results are as follows: (i) The division and development of the cloned embryos with embryonic donor cells and goat foetal fibroblast donor cells were 55%, 77% and 35%, 31%, respectively. There is no significant statistical difference between them. (? These studies result in the birth of two cloned goats derived from two 30-day foetal fibroblast celi lines, which are the first cloned mammals from somatic cells in China. 4Targeted thrombolysis strategies for neuroprotective effect显示文摘Stroke is usually treated by systemic thrombolytic therapy if the patient presents within an appropriate time window. There is also widespread interest in the development of thrombolytic agents that can be used in cases of delayed presentation. Current agents that can be used in cases of delayed presentation of nerve damage by thrombus. Current systemic thrombolytic therapy is associated with adverse effects such as fibrinogenolysis and bleeding. In an attempt to increase the efficacy, safety, and specificity of thrombolytic therapy, a number of targeted thrombolytic agents have been studied in recent years. 6An Improved Dynamic Modelling for Exploring Ball Bearing Vibrations from Time-Varying Oil Film显示文摘Bearings are key components in rotating machinery,which is widely used in many fields,such as CNC machines,wind turbines and induction machines.The increasingly harsh operation environment can lead to wear and tear on raceways and reduce the precision and reliability of bearing or even machinery.Lubrication could relieve the wear to some degree,which is benefit to prolong the bearing’s life.Thus,investigation on the vibration responses under the influence of oil film is of great significance.However,for mechanism analysis,how to include the oil film into the bearing dynamic model affects the result and efficiency of solution.To address this problem,this study proposed a fast algorithm through load distribution and interpolation when calculating oil film stiffness and thickness during the solution of bearing vibration model.Analysis of oil film on vibration is carried out and a bearing test rig is designed to verify the proposed model.Numerical simulation result shows that rotational speed and load have vital effect on oil film and vibration.The experimental result is consistent with the simulation,which shows that the proposed model has a better performance on modeling bearing vibration and the method of considering oil film is reasonable.Minmin Xu Zhenzhen Song Xiaoxi Ding Guoxing Li Yimin Shao James Xi Gu 2022Journal of Dynamics, Monitoring and Diagnostics2022,1,2:1
7Effect of heat treatment on the microstructure and properties of CVD SiC fiber显示文摘In this study, the effect of heat treatment on the room temperature strength of W-core Si C fiber produced by chemical vapor deposition(CVD) was investigated. Thermal exposure in the temperature range of 900–1000?C decreases the strength of the Si C fiber. Fracture morphology analysis indicates that failure initiations predominantly take place at the W-core/Si C interface. A reaction layer that formed at the W-core/Si C interface during thermal exposure degraded the fiber strength and an empirical linear relationship of strength vs thickness of the reaction layer can be obtained. 19miR-487a performs oncogenic functions in osteosarcoma by targeting BTG2 mRNA显示文摘Aberra nt microRNA(miRNA)expression plays a critical role in osteosarcoma(OS)pathoge nesis.In this study,we elucidated the involvement of miR-487a in OS and the underlying molecular mechanisms.We found that miR-487a was upregulated in OS clinical samples and cell lines.Knockdown of miR-487a suppressed OS cell growth and invasion and induced apoptosis;however,overexpression of miR-487a promoted OS cell growth and invasion.Accordingly,downregulation of miR-487a significantly suppressed tumor growth of OS xenografts in vivo.Furthermore,Bcell translocation gene 2(BTG2)mRNA was found to be a novel target of miR-487a.Knockdown of BTG2 using small interfering RNA(siRNA)recapitulated the oncogenic effects of miR-487az whereas BTG2 overexpression partially reversed these effects.Finally,miR-487a levels were found to be negatively correlated with BTG2 expression in OS clinical samples.Collectively,our data suggest that miR-487a is an oncogenic miRNA in OS and it lowers BTG2 expression.Zhiqian Gu Shaokun Wu Guoxing Xu Wei Wu Bo Mao Shoujun Zhao 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,6:1
20Configuration Synthesis and Lightweight Networking of Deployable Mechanism Based on a Novel Pyramid Module显示文摘Deployable mechanism with preferable deployable performance,strong expansibility,and lightweight has attracted much attention because of their potential in aerospace.A basic deployable pyramid unit with good deployability and expandability is proposed to construct a sizeable deployable mechanism.Firstly,the basic unit folding principle and expansion method is proposed.The configuration synthesis method of adding constraint chains of spatial closed-loop mechanism is used to synthesize the basic unit.Then,the degree of freedom of the basic unit is analyzed using the screw theory and the link dismantling method.Next,the three-dimensional models of the pyramid unit,expansion unit,and array unit are established,and the folding motion simulation analysis is carried out.Based on the number of components,weight reduction rate,and deployable rate,the performance characteristics of the three types of mechanisms are described in detail.Finally,prototypes of the pyramid unit,combination unit,and expansion unit are developed to verify further the correctness of the configuration synthesis based on the pyramid.The proposed deployable mechanism provides aference for the design and application of antennas with a large aperture,high deployable rate,and lightweight.It has a good application prospect in the aerospace field.Jinwei Guo Jianliang He Guoxing Zhang Yongsheng Zhao Yundou Xu 2023Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2023,36,4:0
