2Efficacy and safety of a novel anti-HER2 therapeutic antibody RC48 in patients with HER2-overexpressing,locally advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer:a single-arm phase II study显示文摘Background:Current treatment options for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-overexpressing gastric cancer at third-line have shown limited clinical benefit.Further,there is no specific treatment for HER2 immunohistochemistry(IHC)2+and fluorescence in-situ hybridization-negative patients.Here,we report the efficacy and safety of a novel anti-HER2 antibody RC48 for patients with HER2-overexpressing,advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer.Methods:Patients with HER2-overexpressing(IHC 2+or 3+),locally advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer who were under at least second-line therapy were eligible and received RC482.5 mg/kg alone every 2 weeks.The primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR)assessed by an independent review committee.Secondary endpoints included progressionfree survival(PFS),overall survival(OS),duration of response,time to progression,disease control rate,and safety.Results:Of 179 patients screened,125 were eligible and received RC48 treatment.The ORR was 24.8%(95%confidence interval[CI]:17.5%-33.3%).The median PFS and OS were 4.1 months(95%CI:3.7-4.9 months)and 7.9 months(95%CI:6.7-9.9 months),respectively.The most frequently reported adverse events were decreased white blood cell count(53.6%),asthenia(53.6%),hair loss(53.6%),decreased neutrophil count(52.0%),anemia(49.6%),and increased aspartate aminotransferase level(43.2%).Serious adverse events(SAEs)occurred in 45(36.0%)patients,and RC48-related SAEs were mainly decreased neutrophil count(3.2%).Seven patients had adverse events that led to death were not RC48-related.Conclusions:RC48 showed promising activity with manageable safety,suggesting potential application in patients with HER2-overexpressing,advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer who have previously received at least two lines of chemotherapy.Zhi Peng Tianshu Liu Jia Wei Airong Wang Yifu He Liuzhong Yang Xizhi Zhang Nanfeng Fan Suxia Luo Zhen Li Kangsheng Gu Jianwei Lu Jianming Xu Qingxia Fan Ruihua Xu Liangming Zhang Enxiao Li Yuping Sun Guohua Yu Chunmei Bai Yong Liu Jiangzheng Zeng Jieer Ying Xinjun Liang Nong Xu Chao Gao Yongqian Shu Dong Ma Guanghai Dai Shengmian Li Ting Deng Yuehong Cui Jianmin Fang Yi Ba Lin Shen 2021Cancer Communications2021,41,11:29
3Genetic and biological characteristics of the globally circulating H5N8 avian influenza viruses and the protective efficacy offered by the poultry vaccine currently used in China显示文摘The H5N8 avian influenza viruses have been widely circulating in wild birds and are responsible for the loss of over 33 million domestic poultry in Europe, Russia, Middle East, and Asia since January 2020. To monitor the invasion and spread of the H5N8 virus in China, we performed active surveillance by analyzing 317 wild bird samples and swab samples collected from 41,172 poultry all over the country. We isolated 22 H5N8 viruses from wild birds and 14 H5N8 viruses from waterfowls. Genetic analysis indicated that the 36 viruses formed two different genotypes: one genotype viruses were widely detected from different wild birds and domestic waterfowls;the other genotype was isolated from a whopper swan. We further revealed the origin and spatiotemporal spread of these two distinct H5N8 virus genotypes in 2020 and 2021. Animal studies indicated that the H5N8 isolates are highly pathogenic to chickens, mildly pathogenic in ducks, but have distinct pathotypes in mice. Moreover, we found that vaccinated poultry in China could be completely protected against H5N8 virus challenge. 5Short-Range Multitarget Motion Parameter Estimation Method Based on Hough Transform显示文摘This study proposes a novel short-range multitarget motion parameter estimation method based on Hough transform. The proposed method can be used for multitarget detection, motion parameter estimation, and data association. In our proposed method, the measured radial distance and Doppler frequency versus time data is mapped to the motion parameter space by Hough transform. The motion parameter space data is binarized to determine the number of targets. The unsupervised nearest neighbor clustering technique is used to determine the search space of targets. The maximum value in each search space is estimated as the motion parameter of the corresponding target. 6Polyimide separators for rechargeable batteries显示文摘Separators are indispensable components of modern electrochemical energy storage devices such as lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).They perform the critical function of physically separating the electrodes to prevent short-circuits while permitting the ions to pass through.While conventional separators using polypropylene(PP) and polyethylene(PE) are prone to shrinkage and melting at relatively high temperatures(150℃ or above) causing short circuits and thermal runaway,separators made of thermally stable polyimides(PIs) are electrochemically stable and resistant to high temperatures,and possess good mechanical strength-making them a promising solution to the safety concerns of LIBs.In this review,the research progress on PI separators for use in LIBs is summarized with a special focus on molecular design and microstructural control.In view of the significant progress in advanced chemistries beyond LIBs,recent advances in PI-based membranes for applications in lithium-sulfur,lithium-metal,and solid-state batteries are also reviewed.Finally,practical issues are also discussed along with their prospects.Ziheng Lu Fan Sui Yue-E Miao Guohua Liu Cheng Li Wei Dong Jiang Cui Tianxi Liu Junxiong Wu Chunlei Yang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7:3

9A more efficient accountable authority IBE scheme under the DL assumption显示文摘In 2007, Goyal introduced a new and creative approach, called accountable authority identity-based encryption (referred to as A-IBE), to reduce the degree of trust that must be placed in the private-key generator (PKG) in an identity-based encryption (IBE) scheme. Based on his work, a new universal A-IBE scheme is proposed in this paper. Compared with Goyal's universal scheme, this new universal A-IBE scheme not only optimizes the time requirements for pairing operations, but also achieves a 'tighter' security reduction based on a weaker hard problem (the discrete logarithm problem) under a stronger security definition (using an adaptively selected identity). Because there are many fewer pairing operations in this new scheme, the performance of the application can be improved to some degree. In addition, because of the 'tighter' security reduction achieved by this new proposed scheme, a less restrictive security parameter can be chosen while achieving the same security as with Goyal's scheme along with an improvement in performance. In the respect of the time requirement, compared with the Goyal's universal scheme, this new scheme could be more efficient. Regrettably, these improvements will increase the memory needed for the public parameters and the volume of communications required. 20Threshold Subliminal Channel Based on Designated Verifier Signature显示文摘The subliminal channel is used to send a secret message to an authorized receiver; the message cannot be discovered by any unauthorized receivers. Designated verifier signature(DVS) provide authentication of a message, we design a DVS scheme with message recovery mechanism and use it as a subliminal channel. In order to share a message among n users securely and allows t or more users can reconstruct the secret in dynamic groups, we combine both subliminal channel and (t, n) threshold cryptography. Then we proposed a threshold subliminal channel which can convey a subliminal message to a group of users based on message-recovery designated verifier signatures. Reconstructing the subliminal message relies on the cooperation of t or more users in the group and they can verify the validity of the subliminal message.
