| 1 | Wideband electromagnetic characteristics modeling and analysis of missile targets in ballistic midcourse显示文摘The wideband electromagnetic characteristics of missile targets in midcourse are the foundation of midcourse attack-defense confrontation.This paper proposes a novel electromagnetic scattering modeling method for midcourse targets based on a precise scattering center model,in which the nonideal scattering phenomenon,shielding effect and micro-motion are taken into consideration for the first time.Firstly,a precise scattering center model incorporating both the sliding scattering and anisotropic scattering is established.Then the change rule of the target attitude is generalized,and a checking method of the scattering center shielding effect is proposed for rotationally symmetric targets.Afterwards,a novel dynamic electromagnetic scattering model is presented,where the scattering center model updates along with the variation of the target attitude and can characterize the change of the electromagnetic characteristics of midcourse targets exactly.Finally,in light of the established model,the dynamic electromagnetic characteristics within different attitude angle bounds are analyzed by stages,and some useful conclusions are obtained.Experiment results from the measured data in anechoic chamber verify the validity of the proposed modeling method and relevant analysis. | XU ShaoKun LIU JiHong WEI XiZhang LI Xiang GUO GuiRong | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,6: | 11 |

Distribution of the inner magnetic intensity in induction coils tends to be uniform. Furthermore oscillation and disturbance phenomena appear in the melt. In-situ Al2O3 and Al3Zr particulate reinforced aluminum matrix composites have been synthesized by direct melt reaction using Al-Zr(CO3)2 components under a foreign field. The size of reinforced particulates is 2-3 μm. They are well distributed in the matrix. | 4 | High-efficiency and multiplex adenine base editing in plants using new TadA variants显示文摘Recently reported adenine base editors(ABEs)exhibit powerful potential for targeted gene correction as well as developing gain-of-function mutants and novel germplasms for both gene function studies and crop breeding.However,editing efficiency varies significantly among different target sites.Here,we investigated the activities of three evolved E.coli adenosine deaminase TadA variants(TadA8e,TadA8.17,and TadA8.20)side-by-side in transgenic rice.We found that TadA8e outperforms TadA8.17 and TadA8.20,and induces efficient A-to-G conversion at all tested sites in the rice genome,including those that were un-editable by ABE7.10 in our previous experiments.Furthermore,V82S/Q154R mutations were incorporated into TadA8e,resulting in a new variant that we named TadA9.Our data show that TadA9 is broadly compatible with CRISPR/SpCas9,CRISPR/SpCas9-NG,and CRISPR/SpRY,as well as CRISPR/ScCas9 nickase systems,achieving comparable or enhanced editing in a larger editing window at diverse PAM sites as compared with TadA8e.Finally,TadA9 was used to simultaneously install novel SNPs in four endogenous herbicide target genes in the commercial rice cultivar Nangeng 46 for potential field application in.weed control.Collectively,we successfully generated a series of novel ABEs that can efficiently edit adenosines in the rice genome.Our findings suggest that TadA9 and TadA8e have great potentials in the development of plant base editors and crop molecular breeding. | Daqi Yan Bin Ren Lang Liu Fang Yan Shaofang Li Guirong Wang Wenxian Sun Xueping Zhou Huanbin Zhou | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,5: | 8 |

| 7 | Nonuniform stretch processing for the range profile of a target with micro-motion显示文摘Complex motions such as micro-motions induce complex range-Doppler coupling effect in radar imaging. Hence, it is a challenge to reconstruct a clear range profile of a target with micro-motion. Stretch processing with fine motion compensation cannot perform well while it ties to eliminate the distortion of range profile caused by Doppler effect, because it is difficult to accurately estimate each scattering center velocity during coherent processing interval. Based on nonuniform stretch processing (NSP), a new technology is proposed to decouple range, time and Doppler and then achieve range profile of target with micro-motion. The new technology uses a new synthetic wide-band waveform and has an innovative mathematic interpretation. Statistical properties of the new approach are primarily examined. Typical models of target with micro-motion for high resolution radar are presented. | 10 | Urban-rural disparities in mild cognitive impairment and its functional subtypes among community- dwelling older residents in central China显示文摘background Substantial variations in the prevalence of mild cognitive impairment(MCI)and its subtypes have been reported,although mostly in geographically defined developed countries and regions.Less is known about MCI and its subtypes in rural areas of less developed central China.Aims The study aimed to compare the prevalence of MCI and its subtypes in residents aged 65 years or older in urban and rural areas of Hubei Province,China.Methods Participants aged 65 years or older were recruited between 2018 and 2019.Inperson structured interviews and clinical and neuropsychological assessments were performed at city health community centres and township hospitals.results Among 2644 participants without dementia,735 had MCI,resulting in a prevalence of 27.8%for total MCI,20.9%for amnestic MCI(aMCI)and 6.9%for non-amnestic MCI(naMCI).The prevalence of MCI in urban and rural areas was 20.2%and 44.1%,respectively.After adjusting for demographic factors,the prevalence of total MCI,aMCI and naMCI differed significantly between rural and urban areas(adjusted odds ratio(OR)2.10,1.44 and 3.76,respectively).Subgroup analysis revealed an association between rural socioeconomic and lifestyle disadvantage and MCI and its subtypes.Conclusions Our findings suggest that the prevalence of MCI among urban residents in central China is consistent with that in other metropolis areas,such as Shanghai,but the prevalence in rural areas is twice that in urban areas.Prospective studies and dementia prevention in China should focus on rural areas. | Dan Liu Lin Li Lina An Guirong Cheng Cong Chen Mingjun Zou Bo Zhang Xuguang Gan Lang Xu Yangming Ou Qingming Wu Ru Wang Yan Zeng | 2021 | General Psychiatry2021,34,5: | 3 |

| 12 | PrP mutants with different numbers of octarepeat sequences are more susceptible to the oxidative stress显示文摘One of the physiological functions of cellular prion protein(PrP C )is believed to work as a cellular resistance to oxidative stress,in which the octarepeats region within PrP plays an important role.However,the detailed mechanism is less clear.In this study,the expressing plasmids of wild-type PrP (PrP-PG5)and various PrP mutants containing 0(PrP-PG0),9(PrP-PG9)and 12(PrP-PG12)octarepeats were generated and PrP proteins were expressed both in E.coli and in mammalian cells.Protein aggregation and formation of carbonyl groups were clearly seen in the recombinant PrPs expressed from E.coli after treatment of H2O2.MTT and trypan blue staining assays revealed that the cells expressing the mutated PrPs within octarepeats are less viable than the cells expressing wild-type PrP.Statistically significant high levels of intracellular free radicals and low levels of glutathione peroxidase were observed in the cells transfected with plasmids containing deleted or inserted octarepeats.Remarkably more productions of carbonyl groups were detected in the cells expressing PrPs with deleted and inserted octarepeats after exposing to H2O2.Furthermore,cells expressing wild-type PrP showed stronger resistant activity to the challenge of H2O2 at certain extent than the mutated PrPs and mock. | 14 | Photoluminescence Properties of Porous Silicon Based on FZ(H) Si Wafer显示文摘The photoluminescence (PL) properties of porous silicon (PS) have been studied based on n-type single- crystal (111) silicon wafers (80-90Ω .cm in the resistivity). The porous silicon layers (PSL) were created by anodizing the wafers with a denuded zone of 20-40 μm formed by neutron transmutation doping (NTD) and thermal treatment at 940℃ for 4 h and then 700℃ for 2 h, two-step heating of the floating-zone silicon (FZ Si) grown in a hydrogen (H2) ambience. By surface modification with stannic chloride or amine immersion and rapid thermal oxidation (RTO), the PL peak position from the PS can be qualitatively controlled factitiously. The as-prepared PS shows an orange-yellow luminescence, while the modified samples emit red, green and blue luminescence. Mechanisms for the different colors of the PL are discussed. In this paper,by using qualitative and quantitative approaches like chart analysis,summarizing,Delphi method and osculating value model,the influencing factors of changes in millet growing region in Hebei Province were studied. The results showed that the changes of millet planting area were closely related to many factors,such as little investment in scientific research,weak policy support,a single consumer product demand,the rapid development of other staple crops, labor migration,relatively low comparative effectiveness and physiological characteristics of the millet itself. | 18 | Sinorhizobium meliloti lsrB is involved in alfalfa root nodule development and nitrogen-fixing bacteroid differentiation显示文摘Rhizobia interact with host legumes to induce the formation of nitrogen-fixing nodules,which is very important in agriculture and ecology.The development of nitrogen-fixing nodules is stringently regulated by host plants and rhizobial symbionts.In our previous work,a new Sinorhizobium meliloti LysR regulator gene(lsrB)was identified to be essential for alfalfa nodulation.However,how this gene is involved in alfalfa nodulation was not yet understood.Here,we found that this gene was associated with prevention of premature nodule senescence and abortive bacteroid formation.Heterogeneous deficient alfalfa root nodules were induced by the in-frame deletion mutant of lsrB(lsrB1-2),which was similar to the plasmid-insertion mutant,lsrB1.Irregular senescence zones earlier appeared in these nodules where bacteroid differentiation was blocked at different stages from microscopy observations.Interestingly,oxidative bursts were observed in these nodules by DAB staining.The decreased expression of lipopolysaccharide core genes(lpsCDE)was correspondingly determined in these nodules.S.meliloti lipopolysaccharide is required for suppression of oxidative bursts or host cell defense.These findings demonstrate that the S.meliloti lsrB gene is involved in alfalfa root nodule development and bacteroid differentiation by suppressing oxidative bursts or defense responses in host cells. | TANG GuiRong LU DaWei WANG Dong LUO Li | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,33: | 2 |
