1Performance of biotrickling filters packed with structured or cubic polyurethane sponges for VOC removal显示文摘Two identical bench-scale biotrickling filters (BTFs),BTF 1 and BTF 2,were evaluated for toluene removal at various gas empty bed contact times (EBCTs) and organic loadings.BTF 1 and BTF 2 were packed with structured and cubic synthetic polyurethane sponges,respectively.At a constant toluene loading of 16 g/(m 3 ·hr),toluene removal efficiencies decreased from 98.8% to 64.3% for BTF 1 and from 98.4% to 74.1% for BTF 2 as gas EBCT decreased from 30 to 5 sec.When the toluene loading increased from 35 to 140 g/(m 3 ·hr) at a gas EBCT of 30 sec,the removal efficiencies decreased from 99.1% to 77.4% for BTF 1 and from 99.0% to 81.5% for BTF 2.The pressure drop for both BTFs increased with increased air flow rate,and did not significantly vary while the toluene loading was increased under similar operation conditions.BTF 1 and BTF 2 could start up successfully within 19 and 27 days,respectively,when packed with fresh sponge media,and the performances could be restored in 3-7 days after biomass was removed and wasted from the media.BTF 2 displayed higher removal efficiency even under shorter EBCT or higher loading rate than BTF1 when other operation conditions were similar,while it showed lower pressure drop than BTF 1 during the whole period of operation.These results demonstrated that both BTFs could treat waste gas containing toluene effectively.Chunping Yang Guanlong Yu Guangming Zeng Haining Yang Fayuan Chen Congying Jin 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,8:10
2Foliar stoichiometry under different mycorrhizal types in relation to temperature and precipitation in grassland显示文摘Aims mycorrhizas play key roles in important ecosystem processes and functions.Carbon(C),nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)concentrations and their ratios are very important foliar traits and their cycling constrains most ecosystem processes.thus,this study addresses the influence of mycorrhizal strategies on these foliar nutrients and their response to climate change.Methods a new database was established including mycorrhizal types and leaf C_(mass),N_(mass),P_(mass),C:N and N:P of each plant species based on He et al.[(2008)leaf nitrogen:Phosphorus stoichiometry across Chinese grassland biomes.oecologia 155:301-10].the predomi-nant type of mycorrhizal association of each plant species was classified according to the published literature and our own obser-vations.We analyzed leaf C_(mass),N_(mass),P_(mass),C:N and N:P among 112 plant species in 316 samples of ascertained mycorrhizal type in the major grassland biomes of China.Important Findingsthe results show highly significant variation among different myc-orrhizal strategy types for foliar C_(mass),N_(mass) and N:P.the highest foliar C_(mass) was observed in ectotrophic mycorrhiza(ECM)type(469.8mg g1)followed by that in arbuscular mycorrhiza(AM)type(443.884 mg g1)and nonmycorrhizal(NM)type(434.0 mg g^(-1)).The foliar N concentration was significantly higher in NM type(31.0mg g^(-1)).However,the AM type had the greater C:N value(19)than the other types although less variation in C_(mass) and N:P among abuscular types on AM strategy was observed.Foliar traits showed significant variation in response to precipita-tion(mean growing season and annual precipitation(GSP and MAP))and temperature(mean growing season and annual tem-peratures(GST and MAT))depending on different mycorrhizal strategies and arbuscular types.When the responses of all folia parameters to precipitation and temperature were compared,the influence of GSP on leaf traits was greater than the influence of GST.Zhaoyong Shi Xiaogai Hou Yinglong Chen Fayuan Wangan Yanfang Miao 2013Journal of Plant Ecology2013,6,4:5

6Intrinsic magnetic topological materials显示文摘Topological states of matter possess bulk electronic structures categorized by topological invariants and edge/surface states due to the bulk-boundary correspondence. Topological materials hold great potential in the development of dissipationless spintronics, information storage and quantum computation, particularly if combined with magnetic order intrinsically or extrinsically. Here, we review the recent progress in the exploration of intrinsic magnetic topological materials, including but not limited to magnetic topological insulators, magnetic topological metals, and magnetic Weyl semimetals. We pay special attention to their characteristic band features such as the gap of topological surface state, gapped Dirac cone induced by magnetization (either bulk or surface), Weyl nodal point/line and Fermi arc, as well as the exotic transport responses resulting from such band features. 7On the topological surface states of the intrinsic magnetic topological insulator Mn-Bi-Te family显示文摘We review recent progress in the electronic structure study of intrinsic magnetic topological insulators(MnBi_(2)Te_(4))·(Bi_(2)Te_(3))n(n=0,1,2,3)family.Specifically,we focus on the ubiquitously(nearly)gapless behavior of the topological Dirac surface state observed by photoemission spectroscopy,even though a large Dirac gap is expected because of surface ferromagnetic order.The dichotomy between experiment and theory concerning this gap behavior is perhaps the most critical and puzzling question in this frontier.We discuss various proposals accounting for the lack of magnetic effect on the topological Dirac surface state,which are mainly categorized into two pictures,magnetic reconfiguration and topological surface state redistribution.Band engineering towards opening a magnetic gap of topological surface states provides great opportunities to realize quantized topological transport and axion electrodynamics at higher temperatures.Yuan Wang Xiao-Ming Ma Zhanyang Hao Yongqing Cai Hongtao Rong Fayuan Zhang Weizhao Chen Chengcheng Zhang Junhao Lin Yue Zhao Chang Liu Qihang Liu Chaoyu Chen 2024National Science Review2024,11,2:0
8Developmental Validation of the EX16+22Y System显示文摘The EX 16+22Y system is a polymerase chain reaction(PCR)-based amplification kit that enables typing of 15 autosomal short tandem repeat(STR)loci(i.e„D3S1358,D13S317,D7S820,D16S539,TPOX,TH01,D2S133&CSF1PO,D19S433,vWA,D18S51,D21S11,D8S1179,D5S81&and FGA)and 22 widely used Y chromosome STR(Y-STR)loci(DYS391,DYS527a/b,DYS635,DYS458,DYS456,DYS385a/b,DYS43&DYS44&DYS437,DYS19,DYS576,DYS533,DYS393,DYS389I/n,DYS439,DYS392,Y_GATA_H4,DYS390,and DYS481)which contains 20 core Y-STR recommended by the Ministry of Public Security and amelogenin.This multiplex system was designed for the simultaneous analysis of amelogenin-Y allele mutation,single-source searches,kinship(including familial searching),mixture profiles,international data sharing,and other forensic applications.In this study,the multiplex system was validated for sensitivity of detection,species specificity,DNA mixtures,stability,sizing precision,stutter,reproducibility,and PCR-based conditions according to the Scientific Working Group on DNA Analysis Methods developmental validation guidelines and Chinese criteria for the human fluorescent STR multiplex PCR reagent.The results show that the EX16+22Y system is a robust and reliable amplification kit which can be used for human identification testing.Xin Wang Weizhong Chen Jian Zhang Yang Cui Jingjing Chen Yunjie Shi Gao Wang Fayuan Li Yong Liu Ruhua Zhou 2020Journal of Forensic Science and Medicine2020,6,3:0
