1Selective enforcement of regulation显示文摘Regulatory agencies may,whether outside of set rules or within their discretion,depart from the original goals or principles set for enforcing the rules,which we term selective enforcement.Taking China,a country in transition,as an example,and using cases and large-sample tests,we present empirical evidence of selective enforcement.The results show that the China Securities Regulatory Commission(CSRC) takes into account whether companies violating the rules have a state-owned background and the strength of that background when investigating and punishing non-compliance.After controlling for the degree of violation,state-owned-enterprises(SOEs) are punished less severely than private companies;and the higher the hierarchy of the SOE in question,the less severe the punishment.It also takes longer for SOEs to be punished.We also find that companies that violate the rules less seriously have a greater tendency to apply for refinancing than those that violate the rules more seriously.This may be because the severity of the violation can affect listed companies' expectations of obtaining refinancing.The analysis and conclusions of this study prove useful in understanding the causes and consequences of selective enforcement in transition economies.Donghua Chen Dequan Jiang Shangkun Liang Fangping Wang 2011China Journal of Accounting Research2011,,Z1:10
2Realizing high low-electric-field energy storage performance in AgNbO_(3) ceramics by introducing relaxor behaviour显示文摘Both sustainable development in environment and safety of high-power systems require to develop a novel lead-free dielectric capacitor with high energy density(Wrec)at low applied electric field.In this work,a remarkably high Wrec of 2.9 J/cm^(3) accompanying with energy storage efficiency of 56% was achieved in Ag_(0.9)Sr_(0.05)NbO_(3) ceramic at a low applied electric field of 190 kV/cm,by improving antiferroelectricity and introducing relaxor behaviour.The improved anti-ferroelectric stability was attributed to the decreased tolerance factor and average electronegativity difference,while the relaxor behaviour was associated with the increased disordered local structure by Sr-doping.Moreover,the Ag_(0.9)Sr_(0.05)NbO_(3) ceramics also exhibited outstanding temperature stability in energy density with small variation less than 5% over 20-140℃.The results indicate that the Ag_(0.9)Sr_(0.05)NbO_(3) ceramic is a promising candidate for low-electric-field driving capacitors.Kai Han Nengneng Luo Shuaifei Mao Fangping Zhuo Xiyong Chen Laijun Liu Changzheng Hu Huanfu Zhou Xinpeng Wang Yuezhou Wei 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,4:5

5Carbonaceous matter in glacier at the headwaters of the Yangtze River:Concentration,sources and fractionation during the melting process显示文摘Carbonaceous matter has an important impact on glacial retreat in the Tibetan Plateau,further affecting the water resource supply.However,the related studies on carbonaceous matter are still scarce in Geladaindong(GLDD)region,the source of the Yangtze River.Therefore,the concentration,source and variations of carbonaceous matter at Ganglongjiama(GLJM)glacier in GLDD region were investigated during the melting period in 2017,which could deepen our understanding on carbonaceous matter contribution to glacier melting.The results showed that dissolved organic carbon(DOC)concentration of snowpit samples(283±200μg/L)was much lower than that of precipitation samples(624±361μg/L),indicating that large parts of DOC could be rapidly leached from the snowpit during the melting process.In contrast,refractory black carbon(rBC)concentration measured by Single Particle Soot Photometer of snowpit samples(4.27±3.15μg/L)was much higher than that of precipitation samples(0.97±0.49μg/L).Similarly,DOC with high mass absorption cross-section measured at 365 nm value was also likely to enrich in snowpit during the melting process.In addition,it was found that both r BC and DOC with high light-absorbing ability began to leach from the snowpit when melting process became stronger.Therefore,rBC and DOC with high light-absorbing ability exhibited similar behavior during the melting process.Based on relationship among DOC,rBC and K^+ in precipitation,the main source of carbonaceous matter in GLJM glacier was biomass burning during the study period.Zhaofu Hu Shichang Kang Xiaobo He Fangping Yan Yulan Zhang Pengfei Chen Xiaofei Li Shaopeng Gao Chaoliu Li 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,1:3
6Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for patients with acute leukemia显示文摘Objective: The purposes of this study were to assess the efficacy of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) for acute leukemia (AL) and analyze the factors affecting the prognosis of these patients. Methods: The clinical and follow-up data of 93 AL patients (median age, 30 years) undergoing allogeneic HSCT in Xiangya Hospital over the past 12 years were collected, and the potential factors affecting the efficacy and prognosis of allogeneic HSCT patients were determined. Results: Hematopoietic reconstitution was achieved in 90 patients. At the last follow-up, the incidences of severe acute graft versus host disease (aGvHD) and extensive chronic GvHD (cGvHD) were 14.0% and 20.0%, the 3-year cumulative incidence of transplantation related mortality (TRM) and relapse rate were 16.8%±6.1% and 21.3%±6.7%, and the estimated 3-year overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) of the patients were 64.6%±5.4% and 56.5%±5.5%, respectively. Univariate analysis indicated that age older than 40 years, HLA mismatch, and severe lung infection within the first 100 days after transplantation were risk factors for severe aGvHD, age older than 40 years, HLA mismatch, severe lung infection within the first 100 days after transplantation, and severe aGvHD were risk factors for TRM, high-risk AL and lack of cGvHD were risk factors for relapse (all P<0.05). Survival estimation showed that HLA mismatch, severe lung infection occurring within the first 100 days post-transplantation, high-risk AL severe aGvHD and lack of cGvHD were risk factors associated with poor prognosis (all P<0.05). Further multivariate analyses revealed that severe lung infection within the first 100 days post-transplantation, severe aGvHD and lack of cGvHD were independent risk factors for unfavorable outcomes (all P<0.05). 7Methylesterification of cell-wall pectin controls the diurnal flower-opening times in rice显示文摘Flowers are the core reproductive organ of plants, and flowering is essential for cross-pollination. Diurnal flower-opening time is thus a key trait influencing reproductive isolation, hybrid breeding, and thermostability in plants. However, the molecular mechanisms controlling this trait remain unknown. Here, we report that rice Diurnal Flower Opening Time 1 (DFOT1) modulates pectin methylesterase (PME) activity to regulate pectin methylesterification levels of the lodicule cell walls, which affect lodicule swelling to control diurnal flower-opening time. DFOT1 is specifically expressed in the lodicules, and its expression gradually increases with the approach to flowering but decreases with flowering. Importantly, a knockout of DFOT1 showed earlier diurnal flower opening. We demonstrate that DFOT1 interacts directly with multiple PMEs to promote their activity. Knockout of PME40 also resulted in early diurnal flower opening, whereas overexpression of PME42 delayed diurnal flower opening. Lower PME activity was observed to be associated with higher levels of pectin methylesterification and the softening of cell walls in lodicules, which contribute to the absorption of water by lodicules and cause them to swell, thus promoting early diurnal flower opening. Higher PME activity had the opposite effect. 9Preparation,Rheological Properties and Primary Cytocompatibility of TPU/PLA Blends as Biomedical Materials显示文摘A polymer blends containing thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU) and poly(lactic acid)(PLA) as a biomedical material were prepared by a process of modifying thermally induced phase separation(MTIPS) and melt blending.The influences of composition,shear frequency,and temperature on the rheological behaviors of the blends were investigated by small amplitude oscillatory shear rheology.The results revealed that the addition of TPU into PLA significantly decreased the non-Newtonian index of the blends,and increased the sensitivity of the blends on shear rate,suggesting that optimization of the shear rate and temperature could improve the flowability of the blend melts in the extrusion process.In addition,the results of SEM images revealed that TPU distributed well into PLA matrix and showed good compatibility between the TPU and PLA,which made the blends with good toughness.The primary cytocompatibility of the blends was evaluated using C2C12 cells.The results suggested that the TPU/PLA blends did not affect cell growth,showing no cytotoxicity.In short,the TPU/PLA blends with excellent toughness had potential application as biomedical devices.洪华 YANG Lili YUAN Yuan QU Xue CHEN Fangping 魏杰 刘昌胜 2016Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2016,31,1:2
10Synergy effects of Asperosaponin Ⅵ and bioactive factor BMP-2 on osteogenesis and anti-osteoclastogenesis显示文摘Osteoporosis is a reduction in skeletal mass due to the decrease of osteogenic ability and the activation of the osteoclastic function.Inhibiting bone resorption and accelerating the new bone formation is a promising strategy to repair the bone defect of osteoporosis.In this study,we first systematically investigated the roles of Chinese medicine Asperosaponin Ⅵ(ASP Ⅵ)on osteogenic mineralization of BMSCs and osteoclastogenesis of BMMs,and then explored the synergistic effect of ASP Ⅵ and BS(BMP-2 immobilized in 2-N,6-O-sulfated chitosan)on bone formation.The result showed that ASP Ⅵ with the concentration lower than 10^(-4) M contributed to the expression of osteogenic gene and inhibited osteoclastic genes RANKL of BMSCs.Simultaneously,ASP Ⅵ significantly reduced the differentiation of mononuclear osteoclasts in the process of osteoclast formation induced by M-CSF and RANKL.Furthermore,by stimulating the SMADs,TGF-β1,VEGFA,and OPG/RANKL signaling pathways,ASBS(ASP Ⅵ and BS)substantially enhanced osteogenesis,greatly promoted angiogenesis,and suppressed osteoclastogenesis.The findings provide a new perspective on osteoporosis care and prevention.Fangping Chen Qing Liang Lijie Mao Yanrong Yin b Lixin Zhang Cuidi Li Changsheng Liu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,4:2

16Dissolved organic carbon fractionation in wet deposition and its potential impact on radiative forcing in the central Tibetan Plateau显示文摘As an important component of carbonaceous matters,dissolved organic carbon(DOC)can absorb and scatter the solar radiation at ultraviolet and blue wavelengths.The wet deposition process has great impact on the con-centration and light absorption ability of precipitation DOC,affecting the climatic effect caused by DOC in the atmosphere.In this study,light absorption and fluorescence characteristics of precipitation DOC was investigated in the central Tibetan Plateau(TP).The results showed that the mean DOC concentration and mass absorption cross-section measured at 365 nm(MAC_(365)) in Tanggula(TGL)station were 0.59±0.42 mg/L and 0.37±0.19 m^(2)/g,respectively,while both values showed much higher volatilities than those of aerosols.DOC concentrations had significant negative correlation with the precipitation amount,while MAC_(365) values increase with the precipitation amount in TGL station.Therefore,DOC with high light-absorbing ability was preferred to be retained in the atmosphere during wet deposition.In this study,precipitation DOC contained three fluorescent components(one humic-like component and two tyrosine-like components)mainly from local biomass burning sources.DOC concentration showed a negative relationship with MAC_(365) value in TGL station.The wet deposition of DOC with low light-absorbing ability can reduce the strong negative radiative forcing caused by secondary organic aerosol due to high proportion of DOC in secondary organic carbon.Similar phenomenon was also found in Nam Co,Lulang and Everest stations of previous study,which may have a potential impact on radiative forcing in the atmosphere of TP.ZhaoFu Hu ChaoLiu Li ShiChang Kang XiaoFei Li Chao Zhang Fangping Yan XiaoBo He PengFei Chen 2023Research in Cold and Arid Regions2023,15,4:0

19MUTYH is a potential prognostic biomarker and correlates with immune infiltrates in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide.The development of biomarkers for early detection and monitoring of HCC has not shown significant prog-ress.Meanwhile,the second adenomatous polyposis-related gene,MUTYH,which encodes a DNA gly-cosylase,has been observed in its contribution to oxidative DNA damage repair.Abnormal expression of MUTYH can reduce cell survival rate.Therefore,this study investigated the usefulness of MUTYH in diagnosing and prognosis HCC.Materials and methods:Using The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)data,we analyzed the prognostic value of MUTYH in HCC.We used logistic regression,Wilcoxon signed-rank test,and KruskaleWallis test to examine MUTYH expression concerning clinical-pathologic characteristics.Univariate and multivariate Cox regression methods and Kaplan-Meier analysis were applied to determine the related prognostic factors of HCC.The enrichment analysis(GSEA)was used to determine the critical pathways associated with MUTYH.The single-sample gene set enrichment analysis(ssGSEA)was conducted to examine the correlation between MUTYH expression and cancer immune infiltration.Results:The higher expression of MUTYH in HCC patients was associated with a poorer overall survival rate and a shorter disease-specific survival rate.The Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)analysis showed that all differentially expressed genes(DEGs)between the high and low expression levels of MUTYH significantly enriched in the trace ligand-receptor interaction,cell cycle,oocyte meiosis,gap junction,and DNA replication.Group analysis revealed the signals of their open access.The neuron system,M phase,DNA repair,Rho GTPase effector,and cell cycle checkpoints were significantly enriched.ssGSEA showed a positive correlation between MUTYH expression and the infiltration levels of Th2 cells,NK cells,and T helper cells.Moreover,a negative correlation was found between MUTYH expression and the infiltration levels of dendritic cells(DCs)and cytotoxic cells.Conclusions:MUTYH expression levels were positively correlated with immune checkpoint gene expression levels in HCC tissues.The expression level of MUTYH was related to the prognosis of HCC and the immune infiltration of HCC.Fan Yang Qinghai Lian Beibei Ni Xiusheng Qiu Yizhan He Xiaoguang Zou Fangping He Wenjie Chen 2022Liver Research2022,6,4:0
