1Effects of climate change and land-use changes on spatiotemporal distributions of blue water and green water in Ningxia, Northwest China显示文摘Water resources are a crucial factor that determines the health of ecosystems and socio-economic development;however,they are under threat due to climate change and human activities.The quantitative assessment of water resources using the concept of blue water and green water can improve regional water resources management.In this study,spatiotemporal distributions of blue water and green water were simulated and analyzed under scenarios of climate change and land-use changes using the Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT)in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,Northwest China,between 2009 and 2014.Green water,a leading component of water resources,accounted for more than 69.00%of the total water resources in Ningxia.Blue water and green water showed a single peak trend on the monthly and annual scales during the study period.On the spatial scale,the southern region of Ningxia showed higher blue water and green water resources than the northern region.The spatiotemporal distribution features of blue water,green water,and green water flow had strong correlations with precipitation.Furthermore,the simulation identified the climate change in Ningxia to be more influential on blue water and green water than land-use changes.This study provides a specific scientific foundation to manage water resources in Ningxia when encountered with climate change together with human activities.WU Jun DENG Guoning ZHOU Dongmei ZHU Xiaoyan MA Jing CEN Guozhang JIN Yinli ZHANG Jun 2021Journal of Arid Land2021,13,7:3
2Identifying human body states by using a flexible integrated sensor显示文摘Flexible sensors are required to be lightweight,compatible with the skin,sufficiently sensitive,and easily integrated to extract various kinds of body vital signs during continuous healthcare monitoring in daily life.For this,a simple and low-cost flexible temperature and force sensor that uses only two carbon fiber beams as the sensing layer is reported in this work.This simple,flexible sensor can not only monitor skin temperature changes in real time but can also extract most pulse waves,including venous waves,from most parts of the human body.A pulse diagnostic glove containing three such flexible sensors was designed to simulate pulse diagnostic methods used in traditional Chinese medicine.Wearable equipment was also designed in which four flexible sensors were fixed onto different body parts(neck,chest,armpit,and fingertip)to simultaneously monitor body temperature,carotid pulse,fingertip artery pulse,and respiratory rate.Four important physiological indicators—body temperature(BT),blood pressure(BP),heart rate(HR),and respiratory rate(RR)—were extracted by the wearable equipment and analyzed to identify exercise,excited,tired,angry,and frightened body states.Ying Jin Guoning Chen Kete Lao Songhui Li Yong Lu Yufeng Gan Zhundong Li Jiajia Hu Jingcheng Huang Jinxiu Wen Honggui Deng Min Yang Zhiming Chen Xiaoyan Hu Baowen Liang Jianyi Luo 2020npj Flexible Electronics2020,4,1:2
3Structure tailorable triple-phase and pure double-polar-phase flexible IF-WS_(2)@poly(vinylidene fluoride)nanocomposites with enhanced electrical and mechanical properties显示文摘A new low-cost high-permittivity flexible nanocomposite consisting of a polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)matrix and fullerene-like tungsten disulfide nanoparticle(IF-WS2 NP)filler was fabricated via a simple solution route.A comprehensive investigation by X-ray diffraction,attenuated total reflection-infrared spectroscopy,and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)showed that 0.5e1 vol% of IF-WS_(2) induced a nonpolar α-phase to coexisting triple-phase transition in PVDF,whereas a slightly higher loading of 2 vol% induced pure double-polar β- and γ-phases.These results indicate that the structure and properties of the fabricated nanocomposite are easily tailorable.DSC during heating and cooling cycles and morphology observations further indicated that a polar phase was induced by the nucleation effect of the IF-WS2 NPs and electrostatic interactions.As a consequence of the multiphase coexistence and structure homogeneity,nanocomposites with approximately 0.5-1 vol% of IF-WS_(2) NPs showed enhanced dielectric and energy-storage performance as well as enhanced tensile strength and elongation.The new phase-tailorable nanocomposites with balanced properties are promising for applications as energystorage capacitors,piezoelectric sensors,and other flexible multifunctional components.The results of this study will serve to deepen the understanding of the polymer polymorph and provide directions on new routes for fabrication of smart materials.Dong Guo Kai Cai Pingye Deng Guoning Si Liangying Sun Fahui Chen Honglong Ning Li Jin Jingtao Ma 2020Journal of Materiomics2020,6,3:0
