| 1 | An increase in corn resistant starch decreases protein fermentation and modulates gut microbiota during in vitro cultivation of pig large intestinal inocula显示文摘High-protein diet could cause an increase in protein fermentation in the large intestine, leading to an increased production of potentially detrimental metabolites. We hypothesized that an increase in corn resistant starch content may attenuate the protein fermentation. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of resistant starch on protein fermentation by inocula from large intestine of pigs using in vitro cultivation. Fermentation patterns were analyzed during a 24-h incubation of cecal and colonic digesta with varying corn resistant starch contents, using casein protein as sole nitrogen source. The results showed that the concentration of short-chain fatty acids(SCFA) and cumulative gas production were significantly increased(P < 0.05), while ammonia-nitrogen(NH_3-N) and branched-chain fatty acids(BCFA), which indicated protein fermentation, decreased when the corn resistant starch levels increased(P < 0.05). The copies of total bacteria, Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus were significantly increased with the increased corn resistant starch levels after incubation(P < 0.05). The copies of the Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus in cecum were significantly higher than those in colon(P < 0.05). | 4 | Distributed Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces-Aided Device-to-Device Communications System显示文摘Intelligent reflecting surface(IRS)is a revolutionizing and promising technology to improve the high transmission rate of the wireless communication systems.Specifically,an IRS consists of a great amount of low-cost passive reflecting elements,which reflect the incident signals to the desired user by collaboratively using passive beamforming.This paper introduces IRSs into a device-to-device(D2D)underlying cellular system to enhance transmission rate performance of the D2D pairs.We formulate an optimization problem of maximizing the transmission rate of the D2D pairs while satisfying the minimum required rate of the cellular users.We address this problem by jointly optimizing the reuse indicator,received beamforming,power allocation,and phase shift matrices.Block coordinate descent(BCD)algorithm is adopted to decouple the original problem into four subproblems.Closed form solutions are obtained by solving the sub-problems of optimizing the received beamforming and power allocation.Then,Kuhn-Munkres(KM)algorithm and minimization-majorization(MM)algorithm are adopted to solve the sub-problems of optimizing the reuse indicator and phase shift matrices,respectively.Simulation results demonstrate that IRSs can effectively improve the transmission rate of the D2D pairs and our proposed distributed IRSs scheme outperforms the other benchmark schemes. | Chiya Zhang Wenyu Chen Qian Chen Chunlong He | 2021 | Journal of Communications and Information Networks2021,6,3: | 1 |

| 6 | The effect of increased atmospheric temperature and CO_2 concentration during crop growth on the chemical composition and in vitro rumen fermentation characteristics of wheat straw显示文摘This experiment was c onducted to investigate the effects of increased atmospheric temperature and CO_2concentration during crop growth on the chemical composition and in vitro rumen fermentation characteristics of wheat straw.The field experiment was carried out from November 2012 to June 2013 at Changshu(31°32'93 'N,120°41'88' E) agro-ecological experimental station.A total of three treatments were set.The concentration of CO_2was increased to 500 umol/mol in the first treatment(CO_2 group).The temperature was increased by 2 ℃ in the second treatment(TEM group) and the concentration of CO_2 and temperature were both increased in the third treatment(CO_2 + TEM group).The mean temperature and concentration of CO_2 in control group were 10.5 ℃ and413 umol/mol.At harvesting,the wheat straws were collected and analyzed for chemical composition and in vitro digestibility.Results showed that dry matter was significantly increased in all three treatments.Ether extracts and neutral detergent fiber were significantly increased in TEM and CO_2 + TEM groups.Crude protein was significantly decreased in CO_2 + TEM group.In vitro digestibility analysis of wheat straw revealed that gas production was significantly decreased in CO_2 and CO_2 + TEM groups.Methane production was significantly decreased in TEM and CO_2 + TEM groups.Ammonia nitrogen and microbial crude protein were significantly decreased in all three treatments.Total volatile fatty acids were significantly decreased in CO_2 and CO_2 + TEM groups.In conclusion,the chemical composition of the wheat straw was affected by temperature and CO_2 and the in vitro digestibility of wheat straw was reduced,especially in the combined treatment of temperature and CO_2. | Xiangyu He Yanping Wu Min Cai Chunlong Mu Weihong Luo Yanfen Cheng Weiyun Zhu | 2015 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2015,6,4: | 1 |
| 7 | Gulong shale oil enrichment mechanism and orderly distribution of conventional–unconventional oils in the Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation,Songliao Basin,NE China显示文摘Through the study of organic matter enrichment,hydrocarbon generation and accumulation process of black shale of the Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation in the Songliao Basin,the enrichment mechanism of Gulong shale oil and the distribution of conventional–unconventional oil are revealed.The Songliao Basin is a huge interior lake basin formed in the Early Cretaceous under the control of the subduction and retreat of the western Pacific plate and the massive horizontal displacement of the Tanlu Fault Zone in Northeast China.During the deposition of the Qingshankou Formation,strong terrestrial hydrological cycle led to the lake level rise of the ancient Songliao Basin and the input of a large amount of nutrients,resulting in planktonic bacteria and algae flourish.Intermittent seawater intrusion events promoted the formation of salinization stratification and anoxic environment in the lake,which were beneficial to the enrichment of organic matters.Biomarkers analysis confirms that the biogenic organic matter of planktonic bacteria and algae modified by microorganisms plays an important role in the formation of high-quality source rocks with high oil generation capability.There are four favorable conditions for the enrichment of light shale oil in the Qingshankou Formation of the Gulong Sag,Songliao Basin:the moderate organic matter abundance and high oil potential provide sufficient material basis for oil enrichment;high degree of thermal evolution makes shale oil have high GOR and good mobility;low hydrocarbon expulsion efficiency leads to a high content of retained hydrocarbons in the source rock;and the confinement effect of intra-layer cement in the high maturity stage induces the efficient accumulation of light shale oil.The restoration of hydrocarbon accumulation process suggests that liquid hydrocarbons generated in the early(low–medium maturity)stage of the Qingshankou Formation source rocks accumulated in placanticline and slope after long-distance secondary migration,forming high-quality conventional and tight oil reservoirs.Light oil generated in the late(medium–high maturity)stage accumulated in situ,forming about 15 billion tons of Gulong shale oil resources,which finally enabled the orderly distribution of conventional–unconventional oils that are contiguous horizontally and superposed vertically within the basin,showing a complete pattern of“whole petroleum system”with conventional oil,tight oil and shale oil in sequence. | ZHANG Shuichang ZHANG Bin WANG Xiaomei FENG Zihui HE Kun WANG Huajian FU Xiuli LIU Yuke YANG Chunlong | 2023 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2023,50,5: | 0 |

| 10 | Energy Efficiency of Distributed Antenna Systems with D2D Communications Under Imperfect CSI显示文摘In this paper,we investigate the distributed antenna systems(DAS)based on device to device(DASD2D)communications under the imperfect channel state information(CSI).Our aim is to maximize the energy efficiency(EE)of the D2D users equipment(DUE)under the constraints of the maximum transmission power of D2D pairs and the quality of service(QoS)requirements of the cellular user equipment(CUE).The worst-case design is considered so that the QoS of the CUE can be guaranteed for every realization of the CSI error in the ellipsoid region.The EE objective function of the optimization problem is non-convex and non-linear,and thus this problem cannot be solved by the traditional optimization methods.To solve this problem,first we transform it to an EE maximization problem without uncertain parameters by exploiting the Markov and Cauchy-Schwartz inequality.Then using the fractional programming theory and difference of convex functions optimization method,the robust EE maximization algorithms based on the hard and soft protection method are developed to maximize the system’s EE performance,respectively.However,these two algorithms are designed at the cost of the reduced EE of the DUE.Therefore,in order to further improve the EE performance and make a trade-off between the EE performance and the robustness,the iterative update algorithms for the total power constraint and average interference constraint are developed to maximize the system’s EE performance,respectively.Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the four proposed EE algorithms and illustrate the trade-off between the EE performance and robustness for the iterative update algorithms. | Chunlong He Fangyan Zeng Chiya Zhang Cunhua Pan Daquan Feng Fu-Chun Zheng | 2020 | Journal of Communications and Information Networks2020,5,1: | 0 |

| 15 | Investigation of solution chemistry to enable efficient lithium recovery from low-concentration lithium-containing wastewater显示文摘In the production of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)and recycling of spent LIBs,a large amount of low-concentration lithium-containing wastewater(LCW)is generated.The recovery of Li from this medium has attracted significant global attention from both the environmental and economic perspectives.To achieve effective Li recycling,the features of impurity removal and the interactions among different ions must be understood.However,it is generally dificult to ensure highly efficient removal of impurity ions while retaining Li in the solution for further recovery.In this study,the removal of typical impurity ions from LCW and the interactions between these species were systematically investigated from the thermodynamic and kinetics aspects.It was found that the main impurities(e.g.,Fe^+,AIP^+,Ca^2+,and Mg^2+)could be efficiently removed with high Li recovery by control-ling the ionic strength of the solution.The mechanisms of Fe^3+,Al^+,Ca^2+,and Mg^2+removal were investigated to identify the controlling steps and reaction kinetics.It was found that the precipitates are formed by a zero-order reaction,and the activation energies tend to be low with a sequence of fast chemical reactions that reach equilibrium very quickly.Moreover,this study focused on Li loss during removal of the impurities,and the corresponding removal rates of Fe^+,Al^+,Ca^2+,and Mg^2+were found to be 99.8%,99.5%,99%,and 99.7%,respectively.Conse-quently,high-purity LisPO4 was obtained via one-step precipitation.Thus,this research demonstrates a potential route for the effective recovery of Li from low-concentra-tion LCW and for the appropriate treatment of acidic LCW. | Chunlong Zhao Mingming He Hongbin Cao Xiaohong Zheng Wenfang Gao Yong Sun He Zhao Dalong Liu Yanling Zhang Zhi Sun | 2020 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2020,14,4: | 0 |
