1Enhanced secondary pollution offset reduction of primary emissions during COVID-19 lockdown in China显示文摘To control the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus(COVID-19),China imposed nationwide restrictions on the movement of its population(lockdown)after the Chinese New Year of 2020,leading to large reductions in economic activities and associated emissions.Despite such large decreases in primary pollution,there were nonetheless several periods of heavy haze pollution in eastern China,raising questions about the well-established relationship between human activities and air quality.Here,using comprehensive measurements and modeling,we show that the haze during the COVID lockdown was driven by enhancements of secondary pollution.In particular,large decreases in NOx emissions from transportation increased ozone and nighttime NO_(3)radical formation,and these increases in atmospheric oxidizing capacity in turn facilitated the formation of secondary particulate matter.Our results,afforded by the tragic natural experiment of the COVID-19 pandemic,indicate that haze mitigation depends upon a coordinated and balanced strategy for controlling multiple pollutants.Xin Huang Aijun Ding Jian Gao Bo Zheng Derong Zhou Ximeng Qi Rong Tang Jiaping Wang Chuanhua Ren Wei Nie Xuguang Chi Zheng Xu Liangduo Chen Yuanyuan Li Fei Che Nini Pang Haikun Wang Dan Tong Wei Qin Wei Cheng Weijing Liu Qingyan Fu Baoxian Liu Fahe Chai Steven JDavis Qiang Zhang Kebin He 2021National Science Review2021,8,2:47

4Distr ibution, risk and bioavailability of metals in sediments of Lake Yamdrok Basin on the Tibetan Plateau, China显示文摘Total contents of metals in soil and sediments on the Tibetan Plateau of China have been widely analyzed,but existing information is insufficient to effectively evaluate metal ecological risk because of a lack of metal bioavailability data.In this study,distribution,potential risk,mobility and bioavailability of metals in sediments of Lake Yamdrok Basin in Tibet of China were explored by combined use of total digestion,sequential extraction and the diffusive gradient in thin-films(DGT).Average concentrations of Cr,Ni,Cu,Zn,As,Cd and Pb in surface sediments were 31.25,30.31,22.00,45.04,31.32,0.13 and 13.39 mg/kg,respectively.Higher levels of metals were found near the inflowing rivers.Residual form was dominant in Cr,Ni,Zn,Cd and Pb,and reducible form was dominant in As and Cd.Metals in surface sediments showed a low enrichment degree overall,but Cd and As had higher ecological risk levels than the other metals.Furthermore,there was a larger average proportion of exchangeable form of As(20.4%)and Cd(9.0%)than the other metals(1.7%-3.3%),implying their higher mobility and release risk.Average DGT-labile concentrations of Cr,Ni,Cu,Zn,As,Cd and Pb were 0.5,4.5,0.7,25.1,60.0,0.22 and 1.0μg/L,respectively.The DGT-labile As was significantly correlated with extractable As forms(p<0.01),suggesting that extractable As in sediments acts as a'mobile pool'for bioavailable As.These results suggest potential risks of As and Cd,especially As,deserve further attention in Lake Yamdrok Basin.Feifei Che Junyi Chen Bo Zhang Xia Jiang Shuhang Wang 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,11:4
5Inclusion of purified dietary fiber during gestation improved the reproductive performance of sows显示文摘Background: This study aimed to investigate the impacts of guar gum and cellulose as the source of dietary fiber during gestation on the reproductive performance of sows.Methods: A total of 210 sows(parities 3–6) were randomly allocated into six diets(n = 35) throughout gestation to feed graded levels of dietary fiber(DF), including a corn-soybean meal-based control diet with no wheat bran inclusion(CON, 12.5% DF), a wheat bran-rich diet(DF1, 17.4% DF), and another 4 diets(DF2, 17.7% DF;DF3, 18.1%DF;DF4, 18.4% DF;DF5, 18.8% DF) in which wheat bran were equally substituted by 1%, 2%, 3% and 4% purified FIBER MIX(guar gum and cellulose, 1:4). All sows received similar DE and other nutrients throughout gestation.Results: DF treatment during gestation resulted in normal fecal score(1 to 5 with 1 = dry and 5 = watery) in sows compared with those received the CON diet(P < 0.05). The number of total born piglets had a tendency to be affected by dietary treatment(P = 0.07), and correlation analysis revealed a linear response of total born to dietary fiber levels during gestation(P < 0.01). Sows received the DF2, DF3, and DF5 diets during gestation had a greater ADFI during lactation compared with those in the CON group(P < 0.05) without affecting the daily body weight gain of suckling piglets. Gut microbiota compositions were dramatically changed by the gestation stage and some of those were changed by DF inclusion. 8A novel derivative of valepotriate inhibits the PI3K/AKT pathway and causes Noxa-dependent apoptosis in human pancreatic cancer cells显示文摘Natural compound valepotriate exhibits inhibitory activity against a number of cancers,but the effect of valepotdriate against pancreatic cancer is unclear,and the structure-activity relationship of valepotriate has not been characterized:In this study,we performed a structure-based similarity search and found 16 hit compounds.Among the 16 hits,(1S,6S,7R)-6-(acetyloxy)-1-[(3-methylbutanoyl)oxy]-4a,5,6,7a-tetrahydro-1H-spiro[cyclopenta[c]pyran-7,2'-oxiran]-4-ylmethyl 3-methylbutanoate(denoted as Amcp)exhibited superior anticancer activity against human pancreatic cancer BxPC-3 and SW1990 cells.The anti-proliferation activity of Amcp was validated in human pancreatic cancer BxPC-3 and SW1990 cells in vitro.Amcp more effectively induced apoptosis in BxPC-3 and SW1990 cells than gemcitabine.At a concentration of 15μM,Amcp Significantly suppressed the PI3K/AKT pathway and disrupted the mitochondrial membrane equilibrium through modulation of Noxa and Mcl-1 balance in both cell lines.Meanwhile,knockdown of Noxa substantially attenuated Amcp-induced reduction of cell viability and anti-apoptotic protein Mcl-1 level in BxPC-3 cells.In addition,Amcp showed synergistic anticancer effects when combined with gemcitabine in BxPC-3 cells.To conclude,this work not only suggests that Amcp possesses a dual-inhibitory activity towards PI3K/AKT pathway and Mcl-1,but also enlightens further development of bioactive valepotriate derivatives.You-you Yan Ke-yu Shi Fei Teng Jing Chen Jin-xin Che Xiao-wu Dong Neng-ming Lin Bo Zhang 2020Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2020,41,6:2

13Preparation of Al-based amorphous coatings and their properties显示文摘Al_(86)Ni_(8)Co_(1)La_(1)Y_(2)Gd_(2) amorphous coatings were prepared using cold gas kinetic spray technology.The results show that Al_(86)Ni_(8)Co_(1)La_(1)Y_(2)Gd_(2) amorphous coatings are achieved with the porosity about 3.2%,thickness about 893 μm,the amount of amorphous phase about 82.5%,the hardness about 300 HV0.2.The corrosion potential and anti-corrosion life of 7075 T6 alloy aluminum are about-0.78 V and 72 h,respectively.The electrochemical analysis and neutral salt spray are about-0.69 V corrosion potential and 274 h anti-corrosion life for amorphous Al-based coatings,respectively.Therefore,the life of the Albased amorphous coatings is about 3.8 times that of 7075 T6 aluminum alloy.Besides,the failure mechanism was analyzed using TEM in this investigation.In a word,Al_(86)Ni_(8)Co_(1)La_(1)Y_(2)Gd_(2) coatings keep dense structure,high amorphous content,favorable amorphous phase stabilizing ability and longer anticorrosion life.That is,Al_(86)Ni_(8)Co_(1)La_(1)Y_(2)Gd_(2) coatings have better comprehensive properties.Therefore,these findings indicate that the present Al_(86)Ni_(8)Co_(1)La_(1)Y_(2)Gd_(2) amorphous coatings prepared using cold gas kinetic spray technique can protect aluminum alloy very well and they can be considered to be used in aviation field.Lei Jin Le Zhang Kaige Liu Zhigang Che Kai Li Ming Zhang Bo Zhang 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,3:1
14Template-mediated strategy to regulate hierarchically nitrogen-sulfur co-doped porous carbon as superior anode material for lithium capacity显示文摘Considering its rapid lithiation/delithiation process and robust capacitive energy storage,hierarchical porous carbon is regarded as a promising candidate for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However,it remains a great challenge to construct a porous structure and prevent structure stacking for carbon-based materials.Herein,a templatemediated approach is developed to synthesize hierarchical nitrogen-sulfur co-doped porous carbon(NSPC)using low-cost asphalt precursors.The strategy for synthesis uses g-C_(3)N_(4) and NaHCO_(3) as gaseous templates and NaCl as a solid template,which causes the formation of hierarchical porous carbon with a high specific surface area.The resultant porous structure and nitrogen-doping process can prevent the aggregation of nanosheets,maintain the structural stability upon cycling,and achieve rate-capable lithium storage.Serving as a LIBs anode,reversible specific capacities of the NSPC24 electrode reach 788 and 280 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 and 1 A·g^(-1),respectively.Furthermore,its specific capacity remains at 830 mAh·g^(-1) after 115 cycles at 0.1 A·g^(-1).Even after 500 cycles,high specific capacities of 727 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.5 A·g^(-1) and 624 mAh·g^(-1) at 1 A·g^(-1) are achieved,demonstrating excellent cycling performance.The gas-solid bifunctional template-mediated approach can guide the design of porous materials very well,meanwhile realizing the high value-added utilization of asphalt.Yun LI Wang YANG Hanlin LIU Zhiqiang TU Sai CHE Bo JIANG Chong XU Guang MA Guoyong HUANG Yongfeng LI 2022Frontiers of Materials Science2022,16,1:1

18乳过氧化物酶快速检测试纸的研制(英文)显示文摘目的:开发快速、灵敏和准确的乳过氧化物酶检测方法,用于原料乳验收及相关乳制品加工中对乳过氧化物酶的检测。创新点:首次以试纸检测方法代替传统的试管检测法,借助便携式光电测色仪实现对乳过氧化物酶的定量检测分析。方法:以反光值为检测指标,从缓冲液p H、四甲基联苯胺(TMB)浓度、过氧化氢(H2O2)浓度和表面活性剂四个方面,优化筛选检测试纸的最佳制作条件;通过精密度试验、最低检出浓度和与试管检测法相关性分析,评价试纸检测法的可靠性和准确性。结论:试纸检测体系的优化结果为0.1 mol/L柠檬酸/0.2 mol/L磷酸氢二钠溶液(p H 5.0),22 mmol/L TMB,0.5%Tween-20或0.3%溴化十六烷基三甲铵(CTAB),和0.6 mmol/L H2O2。检测试纸的精密度较好,变异系数在2.47%~6.72%(表1);最低检出浓度为1.000~2.000 mg/L(图7);与试管法检测结果的相关系数为0.9776(图8)。因此,试纸检测法是一种快速、灵敏和准确的乳过氧化物酶检测技术,可满足原料乳验收及相关乳制品加工中对乳过氧化物酶检测的需求。Hong-xia CHE Bo TIAN Li-na BAI Li-ming CHENG Li-li LIU Xiao-na ZHANG Zhan-mei JIANG Xiao-xi XU 2015Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2015,16,8:1
