1Cloud-based data management system for automatic real-time data acquisition from large-scale laying-hen farms显示文摘Management of poultry farms in China mostly relies on manual labor.Since such a large amount of valuable data for the production process either are saved incomplete or saved only as paper documents,making it very difficult for data retrieve,processing and analysis.An integrated cloud-based data management system(CDMS)was proposed in this study,in which the asynchronous data transmission,distributed file system,and wireless network technology were used for information collection,management and sharing in large-scale egg production.The cloud-based platform can provide information technology infrastructures for different farms.The CDMS can also allocate the computing resources and storage space based on demand.A real-time data acquisition software was developed,which allowed farm management staff to submit reports through website or smartphone,enabled digitization of production data.The use of asynchronous transfer in the system can avoid potential data loss during the transmission between farms and the remote cloud data center.All the valid historical data of poultry farms can be stored to the remote cloud data center,and then eliminates the need for large server clusters on the farms.Users with proper identification can access the online data portal of the system through a browser or an APP from anywhere worldwide.Chen Hongqian Hongwei Xin Teng Guanghui Meng Chaoying Du Xiaodong Mao Taotao Wang Cheng 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,4:3
2The effect of lengths of branched-chain fatty alcohols on the efficacy and safety of docetaxel-prodrug nanoassemblies显示文摘The self-assembly prodrugs are usually consisted of drug modules,activation modules,and assembly modules.Keeping the balance between efficacy and safety by selecting suitable modules remains a challenge for developing prodrug nanoassemblies.This study designed four docetaxel(DTX)prodrugs using disulfide bonds as activation modules and different lengths of branched-chain fatty alcohols as assembly modules(C_(16),C_(18),C_(20),and C_(24)).The lengths of the assembly modules determined the self-assembly ability of prodrugs and affected the activation modules’sensitivity.The extension of the carbon chains improved the prodrugs’self-assembly ability and pharmacokinetic behavior while reducing the cytotoxicity and increased cumulative toxicity.The use of C_(20) can balance efficacy and safety.These results provide a great reference for the rational design of prodrug nanoassemblies.Shuo Wang Tian Liu Yuetong Huang Chaoying Du Danping Wang Xiyan Wang Qingzhi Lv Zhonggui He Yinglei Zhai Bingjun Sun Jin Sun 2024Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,3:0
3Clinical evaluation of recombinant human growth hormone injection in children with growth hormone deficiency显示文摘Recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH)has been widely used in the clinical treatment of growth hormone deficiency.To simplify the injection process and increase drug compliance,application of the GH injection has become a new treatment plan in recent years.The purpose of the current study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of rhGH injection for the treatment of growth hormone deficiency(GHD)in children in China.In a nationwide,noncomparative,prospective,randomized,open trial,31 children with confirmed complete GHD received subcutaneous injection of rhGH at 0.25 mg/kg$wk(0.107 IU/kg$d).The injection was given daily and the total weekly amount was separated into 6–7 injections.The patients were followed up at 3-month intervals and the treatment duration was 12 months.The height(HT),annual growth velocity(GV),mean height standard deviation score(HT SDS),blood serum insulin-like growth factor I(IGF-I),insulin-like growth factor binding protein 3(IGFBP-3),and bone maturity before and after treatment were compared,and the safety of the treatment was analyzed.The mean HT,GV,and HT SDS were increased from 109.0�14 cm,2.7�0.9 cm/yr,and–4.62�1.46 at baseline to 121.8�13.4 cm,12.9�3.3 cm/yr,and–2.47�1.86 after 12 months of treatment,respectively(P<0.001).At the same time,blood IGF-I and IGFBP-3 were increased significantly[41.27�64.43μg/L vs 159.21�167.92μg/L and 1540.00�1325.11 mg/L vs 3533.93�1413.82 mg/L,respectively(P<0.001)].The bone age assessments performed 6 and 12 months after the treatment showed that no advanced bone maturation was noted.No serious adverse events occurred during the treatment,and the drug-related adverse events were mainly decreased thyroid function.We conclude that rhGH injection is a safe and effective drug for treatment of growth hormone deficiency in children.Ling HOU Xiaoping LUO Minlian DU Huamei MA Chunxiu GONG Yuchuan LI Shuixian SHEN Zhuhui ZHAO Li LIANG Guanping DONG Chaoying YAN Hongwei DU 2009Frontiers of Medicine2009,3,2:0
