3利用洋底地震资料估算进入马里亚纳俯冲带的水通量显示文摘俯冲带水迁移是地表水进入地球深部的主要方式。但是,通过板块俯冲到底能够带入深部地幔多少水受到多种因素影响,包括俯冲带板片年龄、俯冲带几何性质、俯冲带热结构、板块汇聚速率等。目前关于俯;中带的水循环仍知之甚少。最近,华盛顿大学地球与行星科学系的Cai C博士等人收集和分析了马里亚纳海沟中心周围宽频洋底瑞利面波地震数据,估算了通过板块俯冲输入地球深部的水通量。他们的研究结果表明:板块俯冲带入深部地幔的水通量是以前估算的4.3倍,而且远大于目前对地幔输出水通量的估计。由于大量的长期净水流入地球深处与地质记录中的海平面稳定性不一致;同时也没有迹象表明马里亚纳俯冲带的板块弯曲区在形态和断裂强度与其它古俯冲带的对应区域对比有很大的不同。Cai C Wiens D A Shen W Eimer M 张宝华 2018矿物岩石地球化学通报2018,37,6:13
4Clinical significance of main pancreatic duct dilation on computed tomography: Single and double duct dilation显示文摘AIM: To study the patients with main pancreatic duct dilation on computed tomography (CT) and thereby to provide the predictive criteria to identify patients at high risk of significant diseases, such as pancreatic cancer, and to avoid unnecessary work up for patients at low risk of such diseases. METHODS: Patients with dilation of the main pancreatic duct on CT at Emory University Hospital in 2002 were identified by computer search. Clinical course and ultimate diagnosis were obtained in all the identified patients by abstraction of their computer database records. RESULTS: Seventy-seven patients were identified in this study. Chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer were the most common causes of the main pancreatic duct dilation on CT. Although the majority of patients with isolated dilation of the main pancreatic duct (single duct dilation) had chronic pancreatitis, one-third of patients with single duct dilation but without chronic pancreatitis had pancreatic malignancies, whereas most of patients with concomitant biliary duct dilation (double duct dilation) had pancreatic cancer. CONCLUSION: Patients with pancreatic double duct dilation need extensive work up and careful followup since a majority of these patients are ultimately diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. 6Modeling Climate Change Impacts on the US Agricultural Exports显示文摘Climate change is expected to have substantial effects on agricultural productivity worldwide. However, these impacts will differ across commodities, locations and time periods. As a result, landowners will see changes in relative returns that are likely to induce modifications in production practices and land allocation. In addition, regional variations in impacts can alter relative competitiveness across countries and lead to adjustments in international trade patterns. Thus in climate change impact studies it is likely useful to account for worldwide productivity effects. In this study, we investigate the implications of considering rest of world climate impacts on projections of the US agricultural exports. We chose to focus on the US because it is one of the largest agricultural exporters. To conduct our analyses, we consider four alternative climate scenarios, both with and without rest of world climate change impacts. Our results show that considering/ignoring rest of world climate impacts causes signifi cant changes in the US production and exports projections. 7Source identification, contamination status and health risk assessment of heavy metals from road dusts in Dhaka, Bangladesh显示文摘In this study, concentrations of Cr, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb were determined in road dusts collected from different locations in Dhaka to assess source, contamination status and health risk. Energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy were used to determine Cr, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb and their mean concentrations were 162.27 ± 29.46, 721.18 ± 180.14, 35.65 ± 12.55, 104.56 ± 128.33, 515.32 ± 321.90,BDL, and 342.82 ± 591.20 mg/kg, respectively. Among the heavy metals, highest concentrations of Cu, Zn and Pb were found at urban sites-7(municipal waste dumping) and 8(medical waste incineration). Highest concentration of Cr followed by Cu and Zn was found at site-5(Tejgaon, urban). Principal component analysis revealed that anthropogenic activities are the potential sources for Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn and Pb while earth crust for Mn. Pollution index and pollution load index results suggested that all the sites were contaminated and/or degraded by Cr, Cu, Zn and Pb except sites-9(urban), 10(sub-urban), 11(rural) while sites-7 and 8(urban) were extremely degraded. For noncarcinogenic health risk, hazard quotient values for dermal were higher compared to that of inhalation/ingestion. Though hazard index values were less than 1 at all the sites, these were at least one order of magnitude higher for children group than that of adult group, thus the children group may face more noncarcinogenic health risk at sites -7 and 8. 9Do the existing staging systems for primary liver cancer apply to combined hepatocellular carcinoma-intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma?显示文摘Background:The incidence of combined hepatocellular carcinoma-intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(cHCC-ICC)is relatively low,and the knowledge about the prognosis of cHCC-ICC remains obscure.In the study,we aimed to screen existing primary liver cancer staging systems and shed light on the prognosis and risk factors for cHCC-ICC.Methods:We retrospectively reviewed 206 cHCC-ICC patients who received curative surgical resection from April 1999 to March 2017.The correlation of survival measures with the histological types or with tumor staging systems was determined and predictive values of tumor staging systems with cHCC-ICC prognosis were compared.Results:The histological type was not associated with overall survival(OS)(P=0.338)or disease-free survival(DFS)(P=0.843)of patients after curative surgical resection.BCLC,TNM for HCC,and TNM for ICC stages correlated with both OS and DFS in cHCC-ICC(all P<0.05).The predictive values of TNM for HCC and TNM for ICC stages were similar in terms of predicting postoperative OS(P=0.798)and DFS(P=0.191)in cHCC-ICC.TNM for HCC was superior to BCLC for predicting postoperative OS(P=0.022)in cHCC-ICC.Conclusion:The TNM for HCC staging system should be prioritized for clinical applications in predicting cHCC-ICC prognosis.Qiang Zhou Hao Cai Ming-Hao Xu Yao Ye Xiao-Long Li Guo-Ming Shi a Cheng Huang Xiao-Dong Zhu Jia-Bin Cai Jian Zhou Jia Fan Yuan Ji Hui-Chuan Sun Ying-Hao Shen 2021Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International2021,20,1:2

12Doped graphene/carbon black hybrid catalyst giving enhanced oxygen reduction reaction activity with high resistance to corrosion in proton exchange membrane fuel cells显示文摘Nitrogen doping of the carbon is an important method to improve the performance and durability of catalysts for proton exchange membrane fuel cells by platinum–nitrogen and carbon–nitrogen bonds. This study shows that p-phenyl groups and graphitic N acting bridges linking platinum and the graphene/carbon black(the ratio graphene/carbon black = 2/3) hybrid support materials achieved the average size of platinum nanoparticles with(4.88 ± 1.79) nm. It improved the performance of the lower-temperature hydrogen fuel cell up to 0.934 W cm^(-2) at 0.60 V, which is 1.55 times greater than that of commercial Pt/C. Doping also enhanced the interaction between Pt and the support materials, and the resistance to corrosion, thus improving the durability of the low-temperature hydrogen fuel cell with a much lower decay of 10 mV at 0.80 A cm^(-2) after 30 k cycles of an in-situ accelerated stress test of catalyst degradation than that of 92 mV in Pt/C, which achieves the target of Department of Energy(<30 mV).
