1A 3-year clinical trial of lamivudine in treatment of patients with chronic hepatitis B显示文摘BACKGROUND: Lamivudine was approved for the treat- ment of chronic hepatitis B in China in 1999; however the long-term result has not yet been reported in detail. This clinical trial was to evaluate the long-term efficacy and safe- ty of 3-year lamivudine treatment for chronic hepatitis B and the impact of emergence of YMDD mutation of hepa- titis B virus (HBV). METHODS: This multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled trial began from 1996 to 1999. A total of 429 patients with serum HBsAg, HBeAg and HBV DNA positive were randomized to receive either lamivudine 100 mg daily (322 patients) or placebo (107) for the first 12 weeks. All patients were given subsequently open labelled lamivudine 100 mg/d for a total of 156 weeks. RESULTS: After 12-week lamivudine therapy, the levels of serum HBV DNA decreased rapidly. The negativity of HBV DNA (<1.6 pg/ml) at week 12 was 92.2% in the lamivudine group, whereas it was only 14.1% in the place- bo group (P<0.01). After 1-year lamivudine treatment, 72.7% of the patients showed undetectable serum HBV DNA (<1.6 pg/ml). At the end of 3 years, serum HBV DNA continued to be substantially suppressed with a me- dian level below a detectable level in patients with non-YM- DD variant HBV, which was increased to 86 mEq/ml (bD- NA method, equivalent hybridization method 10 pg/ml) in patients with YMDD mutation. At the end of 1, 2 and 3 years, the rates of HBeAg loss were 9.5%, 16.8% and 20.0% respectively and the rates of HBeAg/anti-HBe sero- conversion were 8.3%, 11.5% and 17.3%. The rates of HBeAg loss and seroconversion were correlated with the baseline level of ALT. In patients with a baseline level of alanine transaminase (ALT)>2 × upper limit of normal (ULN) and ALT >5×ULN, the rates of HBeAg loss were 42.2% and 66.7%, and the rates of seroconversion were34.4% and 61.1% respectively (P<0.01) at the end of year 3. The levels of ALT at year 3 remained normal in 58.8% of patients whose baseline level of ALT was elevated, and in 79.1% of patients whose level of ALT was normal before treatment. YMDD mutations occurred in 12.1%, 49.7% and 70.5% of patients respectively at year 1, 2 and 3. In pa- tients with YMDD mutation, the levels of HBV DNA were increased slightly with mild to moderate elevation of ALT level. HBeAg loss and seroconversion were 20.0% and 15.1% in patients with YMDD mutation at the end of year 3, which were lower than those in non-variant patients (P<0.01). Adverse drug reactions or events varied gene- rally from mild to moderate. In 2 patients serious adverse events (fatigue and abdominal distension) were related to medication. ALT flares (ALT>5×ULN) occurred in 17 patients: 10 were YMDD mutants and 7 were non-mutants; all of them were relieved. No death occurred in the period of 3 years. 2Microstructure, Mechanical Properties and Oxidation Resistance of Nb-22Ti-14Si-2Hf-2Al-xCr Alloys显示文摘Nb-22Ti-14Si-2Hf-2Al-xCr (x=2, 6, 10, 14, 17 at%) alloys are prepared by arc-melting under argon atmosphere. Microstructural characteristics, mechanical properties and oxidation resistance of the arc-melted alloys are investigated. At 2 at% Cr content, the microstructure is composed of Nbss, Nb3Si and a small quantity of Nb5Si3, when the Cr contents increase, Nb3Si disappears. For the high Cr content (x ≥ 10 at%) alloys, besides the Nbss and Nb5Si3, Cr2Nb is also detected. With the increase of Cr content, the volume fractions of Cr2Nb and Nb5Si3 increase, while that of Nbss increases firstly and then begins to degrade when the Cr content is higher than 6 at%. For the alloy with 2 at% Cr, the room temperature fracture toughness is about 14.5 MPa·m1/2, but badly decreases to about 8.5 MPa·m1/2, when the Cr contents increase. Vickers hardness of Nbss tends to increase linearly from about 400 to 500, while that of silicides is not sensitive to Cr contents, about 950. The appearance of Cr2Nb phase significantly improves the high temperature oxidation resistance of the alloys with high Cr contents. 5Microstructure and mechanical properties of cast Ti-47Al-2Cr-2Nb alloy melted in various crucibles显示文摘The main factors limiting the mass production of TiAl-based components are the high reactivity of TiAl-based alloys with the crucible or mould at high temperature.In this work,various crucibles (e.g.CaO,Y2O3 ceramic crucibles and water-cooled copper crucible) were used to fabricate the Ti-47Al-2Cr-2Nb alloy in a vacuum induction furnace.The effects of crucible materials and melting parameters on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the alloy were analyzed by means of microstructure observation,chemical analysis,tensile test and fracture surface observation.The possibilities of melting TiAl alloys in crucibles made of CaO and Y2O3 refractory materials were also discussed.Wang Ligang Zheng Lijing Cui Renjie Yang Lili Zhang Hu 2012China Foundry2012,9,1:2

7I/P interface modification for stable and efficient perovskite solar cells显示文摘Interface engineering has played an increasingly essential role in the development of perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Herein,we adopted an effective and simple one-step interface passivation method on a FA-based perovskite to fabricate efficient and stable planar PSCs.The surface defects are reduced by the perovskite interface passivation layer incorporated between the hole transport and perovskite absorber layers,and then non-radiative recombination is suppressed while interfacial carrier extraction is enhanced.The passivated planar PSCs demonstrates 20.83%power conversion efficiency(PCE),which is caused by the simultaneous enhancement of the fill factor and open-circuit voltage.In addition,the device also shows great ambient and thermal stability.It retains 94%of its original PCE after 1000 h under ambient air without encapsulation as well as90%of its initial efficiency after 400 h under continuous heating at 65°C with encapsulation.This research provides a strategy for the development of efficient and stable PSCs.Jie Zhang Shixin Hou Renjie Li Bingbing Chen Fuhua Hou Xinghua Cui Jingjing Liu Qi Wang Pengyang Wang Dekun Zhang Ying Zhao Xiaodan Zhang 2020Journal of Semiconductors2020,41,5:1
8Organosilicon-group-derived silica-ionogel electrolyte for lithium ion batteries显示文摘In order to avoid leakage problem caused by liquid electrolyte, a new ionogel electrolyte was developed by in situ immobilizing organosilicon-functionalized ionic liquid within a nanoporous silica matrix. The ionic liquid evenly coats on the surface of porous silica and fills in the silica framework pores with no strong chemical interaction.The ionogel electrolyte has the dual advantages of a silica solid support and a wide electrochemical stability window of ionic liquid(4.87 V vs. Li^+/Li). The half-cells assembled with this electrolyte and LiFePO_4 electrode have excellent performance at room temperature and 60 ℃. 9Transcriptome Analysis of Pacific White Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) Under Prolonged High-Salinity Stress显示文摘The Pacific white shrimp(Litopenaeus vannamei)is a marine species commonly farmed worldwide.In northern China,it has been increasingly cultured in high-salinity waters(>40),but exhibits poor growth performance.In this study,postlarval shrimps were acclimated to salinity 55,cultivated for 3 months at this salinity,and compared with a control group reared at general salinity 25.Subsequently,high-throughput RNA sequencing was applied to compare the transcriptomic responses in the gills and hepatopancreas of the shrimps in the control group and the treatment group,while the weights of the shrimps in these two groups were significantly different.The results revealed that 11834 and 2115 genes were significantly differentially expressed in the gills and hepatopancreas,respectively.Additionally,enrichment analysis of the differentially expressed genes indicated that osmoregula-tion-associated Gene Ontology terms and KEGG pathways were similar between the two subgroups of the shrimp maintained at high salinity,suggesting that the growth rate of shrimp at high salinity is independent of osmoregulation.Furthermore,examination of the shrimp with different growth rates(i.e.,weights)at high salinity revealed molt-associated processes,namely,increased expression of ecdysone response genes and downstream effector genes in the gills and hepatopancreas of slow-growing shrimp,suggesting a role of the molt-associated processes in the regulation of shrimp growth at high salinity.Thus,we not only report adaptive transcriptomic responses of L.vannamei to prolonged high-salinity stress,but also provide new insights into the shrimp growth regulation at high salinity.LI Yuquan CHEN Yigeng CUI Yanting SHEN Min WANG Renjie WANG Zhongkai 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,2:0

11Cerium Methacrylate Assisted Preparation of Highly Thermally Conductive and Anticorrosive Multifunctional Coatings for Heat Conduction Metals Protection显示文摘Preparing polymeric coatings with well corrosion resistance and high thermal conductivity(TC)to prolong operational life and ensure service reliability of heat conductive metallic materials has long been a substantive and urgent need while a difficult task.Here we report a multifunctional epoxy composite coating(F-CB/CEP)by synthesizing cerium methacrylate and ingeniously using it as a novel curing agent with corrosion inhibit for epoxy resin and modifier for boron nitride through'cation-π'interaction.The prepared F-CB/CEP coating presents a high TC of 4.29 W m^(−1)K^(−1),which is much higher than other reported anti-corrosion polymer coatings and thereby endowing metal materials coated by this coating with outstanding thermal management performance compared with those coated by pure epoxy coating.Meanwhile,the low-frequency impedance remains at 5.1×10^(11)Ωcm^(2)even after 181 days of immersion in 3.5 wt%NaCl solution.Besides,the coating also exhibits well hydrophobicity,self-cleaning properties,temperature resistance and adhesion.This work provides valuable insights for the preparation of high-performance composite coatings with potential to be used as advanced multifunctional thermal management materials,especially for heat conduction metals protection.Fei Xu Peng Ye Jianwen Peng Haolei Geng Yexiang Cui Di Bao Renjie Lu Hongyu Zhu Yanji Zhu Huaiyuan Wang 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,11:0
12Ablation of Zfhx4 results in early postnatal lethality by disrupting the respiratory center in mice显示文摘Breathing is an integrated motor behavior that is driven and controlled by a network of brainstem neurons.Zfhx4 is a zinc finger transcription factor and our results showed that it was specifically expressed in several regions of the mouse brainstem.Mice lacking Zfhx4 died shortly after birth from an apparent inability to initiate respiration.We also found that the electrical rhythm of brainstem‒spinal cord preparations was significantly depressed in Zfhx4-null mice compared to wild-type mice.Immunofluorescence staining revealed that Zfhx4 was coexpressed with Phox2b and Math1 in the brainstem and that Zfhx4 ablation greatly decreased the expression of these proteins,especially in the retrotrapezoid nucleus.Combined ChIP‒seq and mRNA expression microarray analysis identified Phox2b as the direct downstream target gene of Zfhx4,and this finding was validated by ChIP‒qPCR.Previous studies have reported that both Phox2b and Math1 play key roles in the development of the respiratory center,and Phox2b and Math1 knockout mice are neonatal lethal due to severe central apnea.On top of this,our study revealed that Zfhx4 is a critical regulator of Phox2b expression and essential for perinatal breathing.Meiqin Zhang Sichen Du Huayuan Ou Renjie Cui Nan Jiang Yifeng Lin Runsheng Ge Duan Ma Jin Zhang 2021Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2021,13,3:0
13An evaluation method of contribution rate based on fuzzy Bayesian networks for equipment system-of-systems architecture显示文摘The contribution rate of equipment system-of-systems architecture(ESoSA)is an important index to evaluate the equipment update,development,and architecture optimization.Since the traditional ESoSA contribution rate evaluation method does not make full use of the fuzzy information and uncertain information in the equipment system-of-systems(ESoS),and the Bayesian network is an effective tool to solve the uncertain information,a new ESoSA contribution rate evaluation method based on the fuzzy Bayesian network(FBN)is proposed.Firstly,based on the operation loop theory,an ESoSA is constructed considering three aspects:reconnaissance equipment,decision equipment,and strike equipment.Next,the fuzzy set theory is introduced to construct the FBN of ESoSA to deal with fuzzy information and uncertain information.Furthermore,the fuzzy importance index of the root node of the FBN is used to calculate the contribution rate of the ESoSA,and the ESoSA contribution rate evaluation model based on the root node fuzzy importance is established.Finally,the feasibility and rationality of this method are validated via an empirical case study of aviation ESoSA.Compared with traditional methods,the evaluation method based on FBN takes various failure states of equipment into consideration,is free of acquiring accurate probability of traditional equipment failure,and models the uncertainty of the relationship between equipment.The proposed method not only supplements and improves the ESoSA contribution rate assessment method,but also broadens the application scope of the Bayesian network.XU Renjie LIU Xin CUI Donghao XIE Jian GONG Lin 2023Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2023,34,3:0
14Recent advances in the application of MXenes for neural tissue engineering and regeneration显示文摘Transition metal carbides and nitrides(MXenes)are crystal nanomaterials with a number of surface functional groups such as fluorine,hydroxyl,and oxygen,which can be used as carriers for proteins and drugs.MXenes have excellent biocompatibility,electrical conductivity,surface hydrophilicity,mechanical properties and easy surface modification.However,at present,the stability of most MXenes needs to be improved,and more synthesis methods need to be explored.MXenes are good substrates for nerve cell regeneration and nerve reconstruction,which have broad application prospects in the repair of nervous system injury.Regarding the application of MXenes in neuroscience,mainly at the cellular level,the long-term in vivo biosafety and effects also need to be further explored.This review focuses on the progress of using MXenes in nerve regeneration over the last few years;discussing preparation of MXenes and their biocompatibility with different cells as well as the regulation by MXenes of nerve cell regeneration in two-dimensional and three-dimensional environments in vitro.MXenes have great potential in regulating the proliferation,differentiation,and maturation of nerve cells and in promoting regeneration and recovery after nerve injury.In addition,this review also presents the main challenges during optimization processes,such as the preparation of stable MXenes and long-term in vivo biosafety,and further discusses future directions in neural tissue engineering.Menghui Liao Qingyue Cui Yangnan Hu Jiayue Xing Danqi Wu Shasha Zheng Yu Zhao Yafeng Yu Jingwu Sun Renjie Chai 2024Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,2:0
