1Relay selection with feedback beamforming information through designed sector sweep report frame for mmWave WPANs显示文摘This paper proposes a novel relay selection strategy based on the feedback beamforming(BF)information through designed sector sweep(SSW)report frame for millimeter-wave(mmWave)wireless personal networks(WPANs).First,an SSW report frame compatible with IEEE 802.11ad standard is designed.Second,an approach collecting instantaneous channel state information(CSI)overheard during BF is devised.Third,with the aim of minimizing the outage probability and maximizing the overall network throughput capacity,the optimal relay selection issue for non-line-of-sight(NLoS)links is formulated as a bipartite graph,and Kuhn Munkres(KM)algorithm is provided to resolve it.Both theoretical analysis and simulation results show,with CSI considering NLoS conditions and selected relays according to the overall network throughput capacity maximization principle,the improvements achieved over opportunistic relay selection strategy in terms of overall network throughput capacity and outage probability with minimal modifications to IEEE 802.11ad.CHU HongYun XU PingPing SUN Lin ZHANG SuHeng 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,8:1

3Study on the microcosmic superlubricity mechanism of PVPA affected by metal cations显示文摘Hydrophilic polymer coatings on artificial implants generate excellent tribological properties.The friction properties of polymer coatings are affected by salt ion factors.Herein,the atomic force microscopy(AFM)was used to show that the superlubricity was achieved between poly(vinylphosphonic acid)(PVPA)-modified Ti6Al4V and polystyrene(PS)microsphere probe lubricated with monovalent salt solutions(LiCl,NaCl,KCl,and CsCl).Considering that adhesion is an important cause of friction changes,the AFM was further utilized to obtain adhesion between friction pairs in different salt solutions.The results indicated that the larger the cation radius in the lubricant,the smaller the adhesion,and the lower the friction coefficient of the PVPA coating.The electrostatic interaction between the PVPA and one-valence cations in lubricants was analyzed by the molecular dynamics(MD)simulation as it was found to be the main influencing factor of the adhesion.Combined analysis results of friction and adhesion indicated that by adjusting the size of cation radius in lubricant,the adhesion between the tribo-pairs can be changed,and eventually the magnitude of friction can be affected.This study opens up a new avenue for analyzing the friction characteristics of hydrophilic polymer coatings from the perspective of intermolecular forces.Hongyun CAI Caixia ZHANG Fuping LI Mengmeng LIU Tao ZHANG Hongyan CHU Zhifeng LIU 2023Friction2023,11,7:0

5Applications of sum-frequency generation vibrational spectroscopy in friction interface显示文摘Sum-frequency generation(SFG)vibrational spectroscopy is a second-order nonlinear optical spectroscopy technique.Owing to its interfacial selectivity,SFG vibrational spectroscopy can provide interfacial molecular information,such as molecular orientations and order,which can be obtained directly,or molecular density,which can be acquired indirectly.Interfacial molecular behaviors are considered the basic factors for determining the tribological properties of surfaces.Therefore,owing to its ability to detect the molecular behavior in buried interfaces in situ and in real time,SFG vibrational spectroscopy has become one of the most appealing technologies for characterizing mechanisms at friction interfaces.This paper briefly introduces the development of SFG vibrational spectroscopy and the essential theoretical background,focusing on its application in friction and lubrication interfaces,including film-based,complex oil-based,and water-based lubricating systems.Real-time detection using SFG promotes the nondestructive investigation of molecular structures of friction interfaces in situ with submonolayer interface sensitivity,enabling the investigation of friction mechanisms.This review provides guidance on using SFG to conduct friction analysis,thereby widening the applicability of SFG vibrational spectroscopy.Zhifeng LIU Mengmeng LIU Caixia ZHANG Hongy an CHU Liran MA Qiang CHENG Hongyun CAI Junmin CHEN 2022Friction2022,10,2:0
6Channel Estimation for Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface Aided Multiuser Millimeter-Wave/THz Systems显示文摘It is assumed that reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)is a key technology to enable the potential of mmWave communications.The passivity of the RIS makes channel estimation difficult because the channel can only be measured at the transceiver and not at the RIS.In this paper,we propose a novel separate channel estimator via exploiting the cascaded sparsity in the continuously valued angular domain of the cascaded channel for the RIS-enabled millimeter-wave/Tera-Hz systems,i.e.,the two-stage estimation method where the cascaded channel is separated into the base station(BS)-RIS and the RIS-user(UE)ones.Specifically,we first reveal the cascaded sparsity,i.e.,the sparsity exists in the hybrid angular domains of BS-RIS and the RIS-UEs separated channels,to construct the specific sparsity structure for RIS enabled multi-user systems.Then,we formulate the channel estimation problem using atomic norm minimization(ANM)to enhance the proposed sparsity structure in the continuous angular domains,where a low-complexity channel estimator via Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers(ADMM)is proposed.Simulation findings demonstrate that the proposed channel estimator outperforms the current state-of-the-arts in terms of performance.Chu Hongyun Pan Xue Li Baijiang 2024China Communications2024,21,3:0
