3Measurement of aerosol effective density by single particle mass spectrometry显示文摘Single particle mass spectrometry has been widely used to determine the size and chemical compositions of atmospheric aerosols; however, it is still rarely used for the microphysical properties measurement. In this study, two methods were developed for determining aerosol effective density by a single particle aerosol mass spectrometer(SPAMS). Method I retrieved effective density through comparison between measured light scattering intensities and Mie theoretical modelled partial scattering cross section. Method II coupled a differential mobility analyzer(DMA) with SPAMS to simultaneously determine the electric mobility and vacuum aerodynamic diameter, and thus the effective density. Polystyrene latex spheres, ammonium sulfate and sodium nitrate were tested by these methods to help validate their effectiveness for determining the aerosol effective density. 4Involvement of PGC7 and UHRF1 in the regulation of DNA methylation of the IG-DMR in the imprinted Dlk1-Dio3 locus显示文摘The gene dosage at the imprinted Dlk1-Dio3 locus is critical for cell growth and development.A relatively high gene expression within the Dlk1-Dio3 region,especially the active expression of Gtl2,has been identified as the only reliable marker for cell pluripotency.The DNA methylation state of the IG-DNA methylated regions(DMR),which is located upstream of the Gtl2 gene,dominantly contributes to the control of gene expression in the Dlk1-Dio3 locus.However,the precise mechanism underlying the regulation of DNA methylation in the IG-DMR remains largely unknown.Here,we use the F9 embryonal carcinoma cell line,a low pluripotent cell model,to identify the mechanism responsible for DNA methylation in the IG-DMR,and find that the interaction of PGC7 with UHRF1 is involved in maintaining DNA methylation and inducing DNA hypermethylation in the IG-DMR region.PGC7 and UHRF1 cooperatively bind in the IG-DMR to regulate the methylation of DNA and histones in this imprinted region.PGC7 promotes the recruitment of DNMT1 by UHRF1 to maintain DNA methylation in the IG-DMR locus.The interaction between PGC7 and UHRF1 strengthens their binding to H3K9me3 and leads to further enrichment of H3K9me3 in the IG-DMR by recruiting the specific histone methyltransferase SETDB1.Consequently,the abundance of H3K9me3 promotes DNMT3A to bind to the IG-DMR and increases DNA methylation level in this region.In summary,we propose a new mechanism of DNA methylation regulation in the IG-DMR locus and provide further insight into the understanding of the difference in Gtl2 expression levels between high and low pluripotent cells.Mengying Yu Yingxiang Liu Zhuo Han Wei Du Bingxue Chen Lei Zhang Hongni Xue Zihan Zhang Zekun Guo 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,7:0
5Facile Preparation of Fe-N-C Oxygen Reduction Electrocatalysts from Metal Organic Frameworks for Zn-Air Battery显示文摘It is critical to study efficient,stable oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalysts due to insufficient stability and expensive price of Pt/C catalysts for Zn-air batteries.Fe–N–C electrocatalysts was synthesized by a facile solvent-green method and the efficiency of Fe–N–C optimized was studied as potential ORR electrocatalysts under alkaline condition.Results indicated that it had excellent ORR activity with E_(1/2)of 0.93 V,which was competitive to that of Pt/C-JM under the same conditions.Moreover,the assembled Zn-air battery exhibited discharge potential and charge potential of 1.2 V,2.32 V at 5 mA cm^(−2)with high stability,respectively.Overall,all results illustrated that Fe–N–C is an excellent ORR electrocatalyst in the field of metal air battery.Additionally,this work opens a good way to synthesize highly efficient electrocatalysts from metal organic framework and to investigate ORR mechanism of efficient chemical energy to electricity conversion.Chengcheng Wang Dawei Luo Bingxue Hou Mortaza Gholizadeh Zanxiong Tan Xiaojie Han 2022Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,5:0
