1Effect of Squeeze Casting on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Hypereutectic Al-xSi Alloys显示文摘The effect of squeeze casting on microstructure and mechanical properties of hypereutectic Al-xS i alloys(x = 15, 17.5, 22 wt%) was investigated in this study. Results show that microstructure of the hypereutectic Al-x Si alloys was obviously improved by squeeze casting. The amount of coarse primary Si phase decreased, while that of ?ne primary α-Al dendrites increased with the increase of squeeze casting pressure. Due to the decrease of coarse primary Si particles, cracking of the matrix was reduced, whilst the?ne microstructure, and mechanical properties of the squeeze casting alloys were improved. Compared with gravity casting alloys, mechanical properties of the hypereutectic Al-xS i alloys solidi?ed at 600 MPa were improved signi?cantly. Hardness of the squeeze casting hypereutectic Al-(15, 17.5, 22 wt%) Si alloys was improved by 15.91%, 12.23%, 17.48%, ultimate tensile strength was improved by 37.85%, 32.27%, 22.74%,and elongation was improved by 55.83%, 167.86%, 126.76%, respectively. 2Bile acid coordinates microbiota homeostasis and systemic immunometabolism in cardiometabolic diseases显示文摘Cardiometabolic disease(CMD), characterized with metabolic disorder triggered cardiovascular events, is a leading cause of death and disability. Metabolic disorders trigger chronic low-grade inflammation, and actually, a new concept of metaflammation has been proposed to define the state of metabolism connected with immunological adaptations. Amongst the continuously increased list of systemic metabolites in regulation of immune system, bile acids(BAs) represent a distinct class of metabolites implicated in the whole process of CMD development because of its multifaceted roles in shaping systemic immunometabolism. BAs can directly modulate the immune system by either boosting or inhibiting inflammatory responses via diverse mechanisms. Moreover, BAs are key determinants in maintaining the dynamic communication between the host and microbiota. Importantly, BAs via targeting Farnesoid X receptor(FXR) and diverse other nuclear receptors play key roles in regulating metabolic homeostasis of lipids, glucose, and amino acids. Moreover, BAs axis per se is susceptible to inflammatory and metabolic intervention, and thereby BAs axis may constitute a reciprocal regulatory loop in metaflammation. We thus propose that BAs axis represents a core coordinator in integrating systemic immunometabolism implicated in the process of CMD. 3A new Eu-MOF for ratiometrically fluorescent detection toward quinolone antibiotics and selective detection toward tetracycline antibiotics显示文摘Development of new self-calibrating fluorescent sensing methods has been a popular research field with the aim of protecting the human health and environment sustainability. In this work, a novel Eu-based metal organic framework(MOF) Eu(2,6-NDC)(COO)(BUC-88) was developed by employing 2,6-NDC(2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid) as bridging ligands. BUC-88 performed different sensing process toward quinolone antibiotics and tetracyclines antibiotics in terms of fluorescence intensity and color. BUC-88exhibited excellent selectivity and sensitivity detection property toward enrofloxacin(ENR), norfloxacin(NOR) and ciprofloxacin(CIP) over other Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Products(PPCPs), accomplishing the detection limit of 0.12 μmol/L, 0.52 μmol/L, 0.75 μmol/L, respectively. Notably, BUC-88 acted as an excellent fluorescence sensor for tetracyclines antibiotics with fast response time(less than 1 s), high selectivity and sensitivity(LODs = 0.08 μmol/L). The fluorescent detection method was successfully used for visual and ultrasensitive detection of ENR, NOR, CIP and tetracycline hydrochloride(TC) in lake water with satisfied recovery from 99.75% to 102.30%. 4Electroporation: A New Approach Enhancing Antitumor Effects of Cytoxan显示文摘Electrochemotherapy (ECT) is a novel cancer treatment in which electric pulses (EPs) inducing cell membrane pored (electroporation) are used as a means of delivering antitumor drugs to the cytoplasm of cancer cells. In vitro, with scan electromicroscope (SEM) and Trypan blue staining examination, the best parameter of EPs of electroporation is studied by the S-180 cells exposed to EP with various voltages, pulses , capacitance. The best parameter of EP of electroporation is 600V/cm, 6 pulses, 10 μF. In the in vivo study, ECT is studied with the Cytoxan (CTX) injected directly into the tumor followed immediately by a local EP at the tumor site. Four parameters, which include the tumor inhibitory ratio, the curing ratio and the vas capillare of tumor, the tumor’s histopathological characteristics are determined and compared among the ECT group, the control group, the EP-only group and the drug-only group. 5Application of Improved Grey Prediction Model to Petroleum Cost Forecasting显示文摘The grey theory is a multidisciplinary and generic theory that deals with systems that lack adequate information and/or have only poor information. In this paper, an improved grey model using step function was proposed. Petroleum cost forecast of the Henan oil field was used as the case study to test the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method. 6Effect of Cu on the boron segregation at grain boundaries and vacancy-type defects in ultra-low carbon micro-alloy steels显示文摘By thermal neutron irradiation particle tracking autoradiography(PTA)technique,the development of boron segregation at grain boundaries in ultra-low carbon micro-alloy steels was investigated during cooling from 1150°C to 850°C,and the effect of Cu on boron segregation at grain boundaries was discussed.By positron annihilation lifetime(PAL)technique,the changes of vacancy-type defects with temperatures and the effect of Cu on vacancy-type defects in the cooling process were discussed.Results show that,the concentration of boron at grain boundaries increases rapidly at the beginning of the cooling;after that,it begins to decrease;and then,it increases gradually again.The addition of Cu not only increases the concentration of boron at grain boundaries but also speeds up the development process of boron segregation at grain boundaries.During the continuous cooling process,the addition of Cu significantly affects the change of vacancy-type defects with temperatures in ultra-low carbon micro-alloy steels.YANG RuiJie WU Ping LI XiangLong ZHANG ShiPing CHEN Sen WANG BaoYi JU Xin 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,6:2
7Laboratory Investigation into the Evaporation of Natural-Gas Condensate Oils: Hints for the Sanchi Oil Spill显示文摘The Sanchi oil tanker collision in the East China Sea on January 6th, 2018 has caused worldwide attention due to its uniqueness. A considerable amount of highly volatile natural-gas condensate oil was spilled, burned and sank with the Sanchi tanker, this entirely new kind of maritime disaster has posed massive unknowns to the public. In this study, for better understanding of the evaporative behavior of condensate oils, two condensate oils were investigated under various laboratory conditions. The overall result demonstrates that the evaporation of condensate oils is highly dependent on the air-exposed time and the total loss of condensate oils could be more than 90% within a short time. However, a certain amount of the high-molecular weight and toxic oil contents such as phenanthrenes still highly remain in the aquatic system even after a long evaporation process, indicating their detrimental potentials to the aquatic organisms. 9Antifreezing and Stretchable Organohydrogels as Soft Actuators显示文摘Inspired by the freezing tolerance performances found in living creatures, an effect approach is presented to develop novelantifreezing polymeric organohydrogel actuators. Through construction of a bilayer hydrogel including a nonresponsivepolyacrylamide (PAAm) layer and a pH-responsive polyacrylic acid (PAA) layer in the presence of a mixed solvent of water andglycerol, organohydrogel actuators that could produce various shape deformations at subzero temperatures have been achieved,and the actuating speed could be tuned by adjusting the temperature and the ratio between glycerol and water. Moreover, aseries of application demonstrations including a weightlifting robot, artificial valve, and robotic arm have been displayed. 103D structural modeling integrated with seismic attribute and petrophysical evaluation for hydrocarbon prospecting at the Dhulian Oilfield,Pakistan显示文摘Surface and deep subsurface geological structural trends,stratigraphic features,and reservoir characteristics play important roles in assessment of hydrocarbon potential.Here,an approach that integrates digital elevation modelling,seismic interpretation,seismic attributes,three-dimensional(3D)geological structural modeling predicated on seismic data interpretation,and petrophysical analysis is presented to visualize and analyze reservoir structural trends and determine residual hydrocarbon potential.The digital elevation model is utilized to provide verifiable predictions of the Dhulian surface structure.Seismic interpretation of synthetic seismograms use two-way time and depth contour models to perform a representative 3D reservoir geological structure evaluation.Based on Petrel structural modeling efficiency,reservoir development indexes,such as the true 3D structural trends,slope,geometry type,depth,and possibility of hydrocarbon prospects,were calculated for the Eocene limestone Chorgali,upper Paleocene limestone Lockhart,early Permian arkosic sandstone Warcha,and Precambrian Salt Range formations.Trace envelope,instantaneous frequency,and average energy attribute analyses were utilized to resolve the spatial predictions of the subsurface structure,formation extrusion,and reflector continuity.We evaluated the average porosity,permeability,net to gross ratio,water saturation,and hydrocarbon saturation of early Eocene limestone and upper Paleocene limestone based on the qualitative interpretation of well log data.In summary,this integrated study validates 3D stratigraphic structural trends and fault networks,facilitates the residual hydrocarbon potential estimates,and reveals that the Dhulian area has a NE to SW(fold axis)thrust-bounded salt cored anticline structure,which substantiates the presence of tectonic compression.The thrust faults have fold axes trending from ENE to WSW,and the petrophysical analysis shows that the mapped reservoir is of good quality and has essential hydrocarbon potential,which can be exploited economically.Umair KHAN Baoyi ZHANG Jiangfeng DU Zhengwen JIANG 2021Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,3:2

18Cellular automaton modeling of semisolid microstructure formation显示文摘Computer modeling of semi-solid structure formation is of significance in both understanding the mechanisms of globular structure formation and determining the effect of solidification conditions on final microstructure.A modified cellular automaton(mCA) model has been developed,which is coupled with macroscopic models for heat transfer calculation and microscopic models for nucleation and grain growth.The mCA model is applied to A356 Al alloy-one of the most widely used semi-solid alloys,to predict grain morphology and grain size during semi-solid solidification,and determines the effects of pouring temperature on the final microstructure.The modeling results show that the lower the initial temperature,the finer grain size will be obtained.In addition,the model can be used to predict the solutal micro-segregation.Li Qiang Yu Baoyi Zhang Huawen Li Runxia Wang Feng Xie Shuisheng Huang Guojie Wang Hao 2010China Foundry2010,7,2:1

20Illuminations for constructions of scintillating lanthanide–organic complexes in sensitive X-ray detection and high-resolution radiative imaging显示文摘X-ray detection and imaging via scintillators has been utilized in missions worldwide within areas of scientific research,medical industry,military defense and homeland security.Commercial scintillators are costly with high energy consumption through the sintering.It is of great significance to seek alternative scintillating materials for sensitive X-ray detection in the next-generation.Herein,eight structure-defined Ln(Ⅲ)-based metal-organic frameworks(Ln-MOFs)were prepared,2D[Ln_(2)(1,4-ndc)_(3)(DMF)_(4)]_(n)·nH_(2)O(Ln=Sm 1,Eu 2,Dy 3,Tb 4)and 3D[Ln_(4)(2,6-ndc)_(6)(μ_(2)H_(2)O)2(H_(2)O)_(4)]n·2nH_(2)O(Ln=Sm 5,Eu 6,Dy 7,Tb 8),where 1,4-H_(2)ndc=1,4-naphthalene dicarboxylate acid,2,6-H_(2)ndc=2,6-napthalene dicarboxylate acid,DMF=N,N-dimethylformamide.Merely compounds 2 and 6 show remarkable X-ray scintillation performance via the characteristic red emissions of Eu(Ⅲ)ions,in which the absorbed energy from the triplet states of the organic moieties can be transferred more efficiently to the resonance emission levels of Eu(Ⅲ)ions than other lanthanide(Ⅲ)ions.The X-ray dosage rate detection limits of 2 and 6 are superior to the standard for the medical X-ray diagnosis dosage rate.As proofs-of-concepts,matrix-mixed membranes fabricated with 2 and 6 have achieved remarkable X-ray imaging with high resolution for practical object shooting.Juan Gao Jian Lu Baoyi Li Wenfei Wang Meijuan Xie Shuaihua Wang Fakun Zheng Guocong Guo 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,12:1
