| 4 | Facile synthesis of thiourea derivatives in ionic liquid显示文摘The synthesis of cinnamoyl thiourea derivatives from cinnamoyl isothiocyanate (CIT) with substituted aniline (RC6H4NH2) was investigated in the mostly used ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate, [Bmim][BF4]. Significant enhance-ments in reactivity, yield and reaction rate were achieved. The products could be recovered by simple filtration. | 7 | Occurrence conditions of positive cloud-to-ground flashes in severe thunderstorms显示文摘The purpose of this study was to understand the reasons why frequent positive cloud-to-ground(+CG) flashes occur in severe thunderstorms. A three-dimensional dynamics-electrification coupled model was used to simulate a severe thunderstorm to permit analysis of the conditions that might easily cause +CG flashes. The results showed that strong updrafts play an important role in the occurrence of intracloud flashes. However, frequent +CG flashes require not only strong updrafts but also strong downdrafts in the lower cloud region, conditions that correspond to the later phase of the mature stage and the period of the heaviest solid precipitation of a thunderstorm. During this stage, strong updrafts elevated each charge area in the updraft region to a higher level, which resulted in an inverted tripole charge structure. A wide mid-level region of strong positive charge caused largely by positively charged graupel, presented in the middle of the updraft region because of a non-inductive ice-ice collisional charging mechanism. The charge structure in the downdraft region was consistently more complex and revealed several vertically stacked charge regions, alternating in polarity. Much of the graupel/hail outside the updrafts was lowered to cloud-base by strong downdrafts. In this area, the graupel/hail was charged negatively because of the transportation of negatively charged graupel/hail from higher regions of negative charge in the updrafts, and via the inductive charging mechanism of collisions between graupel/hail and cloud droplets at the bottom of the cloud. Consequently, a large region of negative charge formed near the ground. This meant that +CG flashes were initiated more easily in the lower inverted dipole, i.e., the middle region of positive charge and lower region of negative charge. Frequent +CG flashes began almost synchronously with dramatic increases in the storm updrafts, hail volume, and total flash rate. Isotherm al and cyclic oxidation behavior of the Zr-doped (Ni,Pt)Al coating sam ples was assessed at 1373K in static air in comparison with plain nickel alum inide (NiAl) and norm al (Ni,Pt)Al coatings. Results indicated th at Zr-doped (Ni,Pt)Al coating dem onstrated a lower oxidation rate constant and reduced tendency of oxide scale spallation as well as surface rumpling, in which the enhanced oxidation perform ance was m ainly attributed to the segregation of Zr at oxide scale grain boundaries and the im proved Young's modulus of the coating. | 20 | Striatal CDK5 Regulates Cholinergic Neuron Activation and Dyskinesia-like Behaviors through BK Channels显示文摘Disturbance of the cholinergic system plays a crucial role in the pathological progression of neurological diseases that cause dyskinesia-like behaviors.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying this disturbance remain elusive.Here,we showed that cyclin-dependent kinase 5(Cdk5)was reduced in cholinergic neurons of midbrain according to the single-nucleus RNA sequencing analysis.Serum levels of CDK5 also decreased in patients with Parkinson’s disease accompanied by motor symptoms.Moreover,Cdk5 deficiency in cholinergic neurons triggered paw tremors,abnormal motor coordination,and motor balance deficits in mice.These symptoms occurred along with cholinergic neuron hyperexcitability and increases in the current density of large-conductance Ca2+-activated K+channels(BK channels).Pharmacological inhibition of BK channels restrained the excessive intrinsic excitability of striatal cholinergic neurons in Cdk5-deficient mice.Furthermore,CDK5 interacted with BK channels and negatively regulated BK channel activity via phosphorylation of threonine-908.Restoration of CDK5 expression in striatal cholinergic neurons reduced dyskinesia-like behaviors in ChAT-Cre;Cdk5f/f mice.Together,these findings indicate that CDK5-induced phosphorylation of BK channels involves in cholinergic-neuronmediated motor function,providing a potential new therapeutic target for treating dyskinesia-like behaviors arising from neurological diseases. | Chu Tong Peng-Xiang Min Qian Zhang Ru-Xin Gu Yao-Hai Wen Yi Shi Yu-Huan Bao Xiang Chen Yi-Xuan Zhang Xing-Feng Mao Hao-Yang Yuan Xiu-Xiu Liu Takuya Sasaki Li Zhang Feng Han Ying-Mei Lu | 2023 | Research2023,,4: | 0 |
