The upwind finite difference fractional steps method for combinatorial system of dynamics of fluids in porous media and its application显示文摘For combinatorial system of multilayer dynamics of fluids in porous media, the second order and first order upwind finite difference fractional steps schemes applicable to parallel arithmetic are put forward and two-dimensional and three-dimensional schemes are used to form a complete set. Some techniques, such as implicit-explicit difference scheme, calculus of variations, multiplicative commutation rule of difference operators, decomposition of high order difference operators and prior estimates, are adopted. Optimal order estimates in L2 norm are derived to determine the error in the second order approximate solution. This method has already been applied to the numerical simulation of migration-accumulation of oil resources. | 袁益让 | 2002 | Science China Mathematics2002,45,5: | 9
NONLINEAR STABILITY CRITERIA FOR MOTIONS OF MULTILAYER QUASI-GEOSTROPHIC FLOW显示文摘Some nonlinear stability criteria for motions of multilayer quasi-geostrophic flow on a beta-plane are obtained by combining Arnold’s method with an accurate estimate method. The criteria can be applied to perturbations of initial data and parameters; rather than the former only. Particularly a criterion corresponding to Arnold’s second theorem is gained, which relies on some precise analyses and estimates. | 穆穆 | 1991 | Science China Chemistry1991,34,12: | 9
Investigation of Induced Distortions in a-Si∶H/a-SiN_x∶H Multilayers by Raman Scattering Technique显示文摘The a Si∶H/SiN x ∶H sample series are investigated by means of Raman scattering technique(RST). The result shows that due to the structural mismatch between a Si∶H and a SiN x ∶H, severe induced distortions are produced in the interface of the heterojunction, and these induced distortions tend towards a certain energy state. The ordering of the interface structure depends on the periodic number of multilayer thin films. | CAO Guo rong 1, GUO Shen kang 1, WANG Zhi chao 2, LIU Yin chun 2, SUN Mei xiang 2 (1.Dept. of Phys., Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang 212003, CHN 2.Dept. of Phys., Nanjing University, Nanjing 210093, CHN) | 2002 | Semiconductor Photonics and Technology2002,8,4: | 8
Structural design of Cr/GLC films for high tribological performance in artificial seawater:Cr/GLC ratio and multilayer structure显示文摘In this paper,graphite-like carbon(GLC)films with Cr buffer layer were fabricated by DC magnetron sputtering technique with the thickness ratio of Cr to GLC films varying from 1:2 to 1:20.The effect of Cr/GLC modulation ratio on microstructure, mechanical and tribological properties in artificial seawater was mainly investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),nano-indenter and a reciprocating sliding tribo-meter.The propagation of defects plays an important role in the evolution of delamination, which is critical to wear failure of GLC films in artificial seawater.Designing the proper multilayer structure could inhibit the defects propagation and thus protect the basis material. The multilayer Cr/GLC film with optimized ratio of 1:3 demonstrates a low average friction coefficient of 0.08±0.006 and wear rate of(2.3±0.3)×10^(-8)mm^3/(N m)in artificial seawater, respectively. | Lei Li Peng Guo Lin-Lin Liu Xiaowei Li Peiling Ke Aiying Wang | 2018 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2018,34,8: | 7

Review on thermochromic vanadium dioxide based smart coatings: from lab to commercial application显示文摘With an urgent demand of energy efficientcoatings for building fenestrations, vanadium dioxide(VO2)-based thermochromic smart coatings have beenwidely investigated due to the reversible phase transition ofVO2 at a critical transition temperature of 68 ℃, which isaccompanied by the modulation of solar irradiation, espe-cially in the near-infrared region. As for commercialapplications in our daily life, there are still some obstaclesfor VO2-based smart coatings, such as the high phasetransition temperature, optical properties (luminous trans-mittance and solar modulation ability), environmental sta-bility in a long-time period, as well as mass production. Inthis review, recent progress of thermochromic smart coat-ings to solve above obstacles has been surveyed. Mean-while, future development trends have also been given topromote the goal of commercial production of VO2 smartcoatings. | Tian-Ci Chang Xun Cao Shan-Hu Bao Shi-Dong Ji Hong-Jie Luo Ping Jin | 2018 | Advances in Manufacturing2018,6,1: | 5

Corrosion mechanism of CuAl-NiC abradable seal coating system——The influence of porosity, multiphase, and multilayer structure on the corrosion failure显示文摘In this study, the corrosion behavior of the CuAl-NiC abradable seal coating system in chloride solution was investigated to systematically research the effect of porosity, multiphase, and multilayer structure on the corrosion failure.Through the composition and structure analysis, the corrosion process of the system was predicted and then verified with mercury intrusion porosimetry,cross-section SEM/EDS analysis, and electrochemical measurements. The results demonstrated that the interphase selective corrosion caused the porosity of the top layer to decrease first and then increase during the corrosion development. The interlayer galvanic corrosion, determined by the pore connectivity,is crucial for corrosion failure. | Yumeng Ni Fan Zhang Demian I.Njoku Yingjie Yu Jinshan Pan Meijiang Meng Ying Li | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,29: | 4

Nodes and layers PageRank centrality for multilayer networks显示文摘In this paper, we propose a new centrality algorithm that can simultaneously rank the nodes and layers of multilayer networks, referred to as the MRFNL centrality. The centrality of nodes and layers are obtained by developing a novel iterative algorithm for computing a set of tensor equations. Under some conditions, the existence and uniqueness of this centrality were proven by applying the Brouwer fixed point theorem. Furthermore, the convergence of the proposed iterative algorithm was established. Finally, numerical experiments on a simple multilayer network and two real-world multilayer networks(i.e., Pierre Auger Collaboration and European Air Transportation Networks) are proposed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and to compare it to other existing centrality measures. | 吕来水 张琨 张婷 麻孟越 | 2019 | Chinese Physics B2019,28,2: | 4
Non-destructive thickness characterisation of 3D multilayer semiconductor devices using optical spectral measurements and machine learning显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D)semiconductor devices can address the limitations of traditional two-dimensional(2D)devices by expanding the integration space in the vertical direction.A 3D NOT-AND(NAND)flash memory device is presently the most commercially successful 3D semiconductor device. It vertically stacks more than 100 semiconductor material layers to provide more storage capacity and better energy efficiency than 2D NAND flash memory devices. In the manufacturing of 3D NAND,accurate characterisation of layer-by-layer thickness is critical to prevent the production of defective devices due to non-uniformly deposited layers. To date, electron microscopes have been used in production facilities to characterise multilayer semiconductor devices by imaging cross-sections of samples. However, this approach is not suitable for total inspection because of the wafer-cutting procedure. Here,we propose a non-destructive method for thickness characterisation of multilayer semiconductor devices using optical spectral measurements and machine learning.For>200-layer oxide/nitride multilayer stacks,we show that each layer thickness can be non-destructively determined with an average of approximately 1.6Åroot-mean-square error. We also develop outlier detection models that can correctly classify normal and outlier devices. This is an important step towards the total inspection of ultra-high-density 3D NAND flash memory devices. It is expected to have a significant impact on the manufacturing of various multilayer and 3D devices. | Hyunsoo Kwak Sungyoon Ryu Suil Cho Junmo Kim Yusin Yang Jungwon Kim | 2021 | Light(Advanced Manufacturing)2021,2,1: | 4
Metamaterials for radiative sky cooling显示文摘From fundamental thermodynamic considerations,in order to convert heat to usable work,it is important to have a heat source with a temperature that is as high as possible, and to have a heat sink with a temperature that is as low as possible. The vast majority of energy conversion processes at the moment use our ambient surroundings on Earth itself, with | Shanhui Fan Aaswath Raman | 2018 | National Science Review2018,5,2: | 3
Transient radiative heat transfer in an inhomogeneous participating medium with Fresnel’s surfaces显示文摘This paper studies the radiative heat transfer within an inhomogeneous and isot- ropically scattering medium with reflecting Fresnel's surfaces. Thermal radiation transfers in a curve inside a medium with an inhomogeneous distribution of a re- fractive index. The inhomogenous medium is divided into n homogenous isother- mal sub-layers and in each sub-layer the radiation transfers in a straight line. By adopting a multilayer radiative transfer model and using a ray-tracing/nodal- ana- lyzing method, a radiative transfer model is built for the inhomogenous participat- ing medium. In the multilayer model, a criterion for refraction / total reflection at the interfaces between neighboring sub-layers is introduced, avoiding the integral singularity and reflection at physically inexistent interfaces (only the total reflection is considered). Transient thermal behavior is examined when the parameters of the radiative properties such as refractive indexes, extinction coefficients, and sin- gle-scattering albedoes vary continually along the thickness direction. | YI HongLiang TAN HePing | 2008 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2008,51,8: | 3
Experimental research on the multilayer compartmental particle damper and its application methods on long-period bridge structures显示文摘Particle damping technology has attracted extensive research and engineering application interest in the field of vibration control due to its prominent advantages, including wide working frequency bands, ease of installation, longer durability and insensitivity to extreme temperatures. To introduce particle damping technology to long-period structure seismic control, a novel multilayer compartmental particle damper (MCPD) was proposed, and a 1/20 scale test model of a typical long-period self-anchored suspension bridge with a single tower was designed and fabricated. The model was subjected to a series of shaking table tests with and without the MCPD. The results showed that the seismic responses of the flexible or semi-flexible bridge towers of long-period bridges influence the seismic responses of the main beam. The MCPD can be conveniently installed on the main beam and bridge tower and can effectively reduce the longitudinal peak displacement and the root mean square acceleration of the main beam and tower. In addition, no particle accumulation was observed during the tests. A well-designed MCPD can achieve significant damping for long-period structures under seismic excitations of different intensities. These results indicate that the application of MCPDs for seismic control of single-tower self-anchored suspension bridges and other long-period structures is viable. | Zhenyuan LUO Weiming YAN Weibing XU Qinfei ZHENG Baoshun WANG | 2019 | Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2019,13,4: | 3
Materials and structures for the electron transport layer of efficient and stable perovskite solar cells显示文摘The electron transport layer plays a vital function in extracting and transporting photogenerated electrons, modifying the interface, aligning the interfacial energy level and minimizing the charge recombination in perovskite solar cells. This review summarizes the recent research progress on electron transport materials of metal oxides, organic molecules and multilayers. The doped metal oxides as electron transport materials in regular perovskite solar cells show improved device performance relative to their non-doped counterpart due to enhanced electron mobility and energy level alignment. The non-fullerene organic electron transport materials with better electron mobility and tunable energy level alignment need to be further designed and developed despite their advantages of mechanical flexibility and wide range tunability. The multilayer electron transport materials are suggested to be an important direction of research for efficient and stable perovskite solar cells because of their favorable synergistic interaction. | Shizhao Zheng Gaopeng Wang Tongfa Liu Lingyun Lou Shuang Xiao Shihe Yang | 2019 | Science China Chemistry2019,62,7: | 3
Accumulation characteristics and the main controlling factors of Lunnan multilayer oil province,Tarim Basin,China显示文摘Lunnan region is a large-scale paleohigh with many coexisting oil and gas bearing series. At present, about 2 billions tons of proved, probable and possible oil and gas reverses have been proved there.Eight oil and gas bearing series have been found in the Ordovician,Carboniferous,Triassic and Jurassic of Lunnan region, they all bear the characteristics of large-scale multilayer oil-gas province.Ordovician is the main reservoir series where over 0.8 billion tons of oil geologic reserves were discovered, and a super large-scale marine carbonate oil and gas field has formed.Reservoir space of the carbonate reservoirs is mainly composed of dissolved hole, dissolved pore and fracture in Lunnan paleo-burial hill.Generally, dissolved holes are widely distributed among them.Reservoir developments are mainly controlled by karstification and tectonic disruption.Due to the similar geochemical characters, the Ordovician,Carboniferous,Triassic and Jurassic oil and gas reservoirs present the same oil source rock of Mid-Upper Ordovician, the latter except Ordovician are mostly of secondary oil and gas reservoirs migrated vertically by faults during the process of multiple phase tectonic movement, adjustment and reconstruction. Lunnan composite oil and gas accumulation region is situated in the vicinity of large-scale hydrocarbon generation depressions in three directions, ample oil and gas from hydrocarbon generation depressions supplied the adjacent oil and gas reservoirs once.Hereby, the succeed paleohigh is the long-term hydrocarbon accumulation region, which is favor for the formations of high quality reservoirs, fault systems and huge-scale composite oil and gas accumulation. | YANG HaiJun1 ,2&HAN JianFa 1,2 1Resources School of China University of Geosciences,Wuhan 430074,China 2Research Institutes of Tarim Oilfield Company,PetroChina,Korla 841000,China | 2008 | Science China Earth Sciences2008,51,S1: | 3
