| 1 | 牡丹休眠研究进展显示文摘牡丹是我国特有的观赏、药用及油用植物,其种子、芽和试管苗都具有休眠特性,严重制约了牡丹的产业化发展,高效的解除牡丹休眠是加速其产业化发展的必然趋势。近年来,牡丹休眠的研究主要集中在种子和芽的休眠机理和解除休眠的手段上,但对于试管苗休眠的研究还处于初级阶段。该研究对近年来牡丹休眠所取得的进展进行综述,概述了牡丹种子和芽休眠的原因、机理以及解除休眠的方法,探讨了该研究中仍存在的问题。后期一方面应着重于种子和芽的休眠机理研究,另一方面需要针对牡丹组培苗休眠的问题进行研究,为解除牡丹休眠的方法提供参考依据。 | 徐梦岚 符真珠 张和臣 武荣花 | 2021 | 北方园艺2021,,7: | 2 |
| 2 | Seed dormancy,germination and storage behavior of Magnolia sinica,a plant species with extremely small populations of Magnoliaceae显示文摘Magnolia sinica is one of the most endangered Magnoliaceae species in China.Seed biology information concerning its long-term ex situ conservation and utilization is insufficient.This study investigated dormancy status,germination requirements and storage behavior of M.sinica.Freshly matured seeds germinated to ca.86.5%at 25/15℃but poorly at 30℃;GA3 and moist chilling promoted germination significantly at 20℃.Embryos grew at temperatures(alternating or constant)between 20℃and 25℃,but not at 5℃or 30℃.Our results indicate that M.sinica seeds possibly have non-deep simple mor-phophysiological dormancy(MPD).Seeds survived desiccation to 9.27%and 4.85%moisture content(MC)as well as a further 6-month storage at-20℃and in liquid nitrogen,including recovery in vitro as excised embryos.The established protocol ensured that at least 58%of seedlings were obtained after both cold storage and cryopreservation.These results indicate that both conventional seed banking and cryopreservation have potential as long-term ex situ conservation methods,although further optimized approaches are recommended for this critically endangered magnolia species. | Liang Lin Lei Cai Lei Fan Jun-Chao Ma Xiang-Yun Yang Xiao-Jian Hu | 2022 | Plant Diversity2022,44,1: | 1 |
| 3 | Discovering the type of seed dormancy and temperature requirements for seed germination of Gentiana lutea L.subsp.lutea(Gentianaceae)显示文摘Aims There are a number of mechanisms that regulate germination;among these,seed dormancy,one of the most important,is an adaptative mechanism in plants to promote survival by dispersing germination in space and time until environmental conditions are favourable for germination.The main goals of this study were to determine the tem-perature requirements for seed dormancy release and germination of Gentiana lutea subsp.lutea,to identify the class and level of seed dormancy and to suggest an optimal germination protocol.Methods Seeds belonging to two different localities were subjected to vari-ous pre-treatments,including cold stratification(0 and 5°C),warm stratification(25/10°C)and different combinations of these,and then incubated at a range of constant temperatures(5-25°C)and 25/10°C.Embryo growth during pre-treatments and incubation con-ditions were assessed at different times by measuring the embryo to seed length ratio(E:S ratio).The final germination percentage(FGP)and the germination rate(t50)were calculated.Important Findings Fleshy mature seeds of G.lutea subsp.lutea have linear under-developed embryos.Cold stratification at 0°C was effective in overcoming the physiological dormancy(PD)and promoted embryo growth and subsequent germination.After cold stratifica-tion at 0°C,both the root and the shoot emerged readily under a wide range of temperatures.G.lutea subsp.lutea seeds showed an intermediate complex morphophysiological dormancy(MPD).As regards the optimal germination protocol for this taxon,we suggest a period of cold stratification at ca.0°C followed by seed incuba-tion at 10-20°C.The optimal germination temperatures found for seeds of this taxon,as well as its pre-chilling requirement at 0°C,suggest that it is well adapted to a temperate climate;this behavior highlights an increasing threat from global warming for G.lutea,which could reduce the level of natural emergence in the field,prejudicing also the long-term persistence of the natural popula-tions in Sardinia. | Alba Cuena-Lombraña Marco Porceddu | 2018 | Journal of Plant Ecology2018,11,2: | 1 |
