| 1 | Targeted therapies in gastric cancer and future perspectives显示文摘Advanced gastric cancer(AGC) is associated with a high mortality rate and, despite multiple new chemotherapy options, the survival rates of patients with AGC remains poor. After the discovery of targeted therapies, research has focused on the new treatment options for AGC. In the last two decades, many targeted molecules were developed against AGC. Currently, two targeted therapy molecules have been approved for patients with AGC. In 2010, trastuzumab was the first molecule shown to improve survival in patients with HER2-positive AGC as part of a first-line combination regimen. In 2014, ramucirumab was the second targeted molecule to improve survival rates and was suggested as treatment for patients with AGC who had progressed after firstline platinum plus fluoropyrimidine with or without anthracycline chemotherapy. Ramucirumab was the first targeted therapy acting as a single agent in patients with advanced gastroesophageal cancers. Although these two molecules were introduced into clinical use, many other promising molecules have been tested in phase Ⅰ-Ⅱ trials. It is obvious that in the near future many different targeted therapies will be in use for treatment of AGC. In this review, the current status of targeted therapies in the treatment of AGC and gastroesophageal junction tumors, including HER(2-3) inhibitors, epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitors, tyrosine kinase inhibitors, antiangiogenic agents, c-MET inhibitors, mammalian target of rapamycin inhibitors, agents against other molecular pathways fibroblast growth factor, Claudins, insulin-like growth factor, heat shock proteins, and immunotherapy, will be discussed. | Ozan Yazici M Ali Nahit Sendur Nuriye Ozdemir Sercan Aksoy | 2016 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2016，22，2： | 11 |
| 2 | Global hypomethylation in hepatocellular carcinoma and its relationship to aflatoxin B_1 exposure显示文摘AIM:To determine global DNA methylation in paired hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) samples using several different assays and explore the correlations between hypomethylation and clinical parameters and biomarkers,including that of aflatoxin B 1 exposure.METHODS:Using the radio labeled methyl acceptance assay as a measure of global hypomethylation,as well as two repetitive elements,including satellite 2(Sat2) by MethyLight and long interspersed nucleotide elements(LINE1),by pyrosequencing.RESULTS:By all three assays,mean methylation levels in tumor tissues were significantly lower than that in adjacent tissues.Methyl acceptance assay log(mean ± SD) disintegrations/min/ng DNA are 70.0 ± 54.8 and 32.4 ± 15.6,respectively,P = 0.040;percent methylation of Sat2 42.2 ± 55.1 and 117.9 ± 88.8,respectively,P < 0.0001 and percent methylation LINE1 48.6 ± 14.8 and 71.7 ± 1.4,respectively,P < 0.0001.Aflatoxin B 1 albumin(AFB 1-Alb) adducts,a measure of exposure to this dietary carcinogen,were inversely correlated with LINE1 methylation(r =-0.36,P = 0.034).CONCLUSION:Consistent hypomethylation in tumor compared to adjacent tissue was found by the three different methods.AFB 1 exposure is associated with DNA global hypomethylation,suggesting that chemical carcinogens may influence epigenetic changes in humans. | Hulya Yazici Ming-Whei Yu Po-Huang Lee Regina M Santella | 2012 | World Journal of Hepatology2012，4，5： | 5 |
| 3 | 硫酸溶液中1,1′-硫代羰基二咪唑在碳钢上的吸附及缓蚀影响和碘离子的增强效应(英文)显示文摘The inhibition effect of 1,1′-thiocarbonyldiimidazole (TCDI) on the corrosion behaviors of mild steel (MS) in 0.5 mol·L-1 H2SO4 solution was studied with the help of potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and linear polarization resistance (LPR) techniques. The effect of immersion time on the inhibition effect of TCDI was also investigated over 72 h. For the long-term tests, hydrogen evolution with immersion time (VH2-t) was measured in addition to the three techniques already mentioned. The thermodynamic parameters, such as adsorption equilibrium constant (Kads) and adsorption free energy (△Gads) values, were calculated and discussed. To clarify inhibition mechanism, the synergistic effect of iodide ion was also investigated. The potential of zero charge (PZC) of the MS was studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy method, and a mechanism of adsorption process was proposed. It was demonstrated that inhibition efficiency increased with the increase in TCDI concentration and synergistically increased in the presence of KI. The inhibition efficiency was discussed in terms of adsorption of inhibitor molecules on the metal surface and protective film formation. | SOLMAZ R MERT M.
