| 1 | The relation between HLA-DQA1 genes and genetic susceptibility to duodenal ulcer in Wuhan Hans显示文摘AIM To study the genetic susceptibility of HLA-DQA1 alleles to duodenal ulcer in Wuhan Hans.METHODS Seventy patients with duodenalulcer and fifty healthy controls were examinedfor HLA-DQA1 genotypes.HLA-DQA1 typing wascarried out by digesting the locus specificpolymerase chain reaction amplified productswith alleles specific restriction enzymes(PCR-RFLP),i.e.,Apal Ⅰ,Bsaj Ⅰ,Hph Ⅰ,Fok Ⅰ,Mbo Ⅱ and Mnl Ⅰ.RESULTS The allele frequencies of DQA1 * 0301and DQA1 * 0102 in patients with duodenal ulcerwere significantly higher and lower respectivelythan those in healthy controls(0.40 vs 0.20,P = 0.003,mcorret = 0.024)and(0.05 vs 0.14,P = 0.012,but Pcorret>0.05),respectively.CONCLUSION DQA1 * 0301 is a susceptiblegene for duodenal ulcer in Wuhan Hans,andthere are immunogenetic differences in HLA-DQA1 locus between duodenal ulcer patients andhealthy controls. | Du YP Deng CS Lu DY Huang MF Guo SF Hou W | 2000 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2000，6，1： | 37 |
| 2 | A Whitecap Coverage Model Based on the Surface Slope For Criterion of Wave Breaking显示文摘Using the limit surface slope as a criterion of wave breaking,a simple model for estimatingthe spatial fraction of breaking surface of sea at an instant,which is regarded as the whitecap coverge inthis paper,is analytically derived from the probability density of surface slope based on Gaussianstatistics.The resulting fraction is found depending on the fourth moment of wave spectum,m4,as well asthe critical threshold of surface slope.By expressing the fourth moment in terms of the Neumannspectrum,a formula linking the fraction and wind speed for fully developed sea states is obtianed.Anotherformula relating the fraction to both wind speed and fetch(or duration)is achieved by expressing m4 interms of the Krylov spectrum and applying the empirical relationships used in the SMB ocean wave pre-dicting technique.A comparison between these results and the field data of whitecap coverage collected byMonahan and O'Muircheartuigh shows an encouraging agreement. | Xu, DL Yu, DY Lu, HM | 1998 | China Ocean Engineering1998，13，1： | 4 |
| 3 | Cyclosporin A protects Balb/c mice from liver damage induced by superantigen SEB and D-GaIN显示文摘AIM To investigate the pathogenic effect ofSEB and D-GalN on liver and the protection ofcyclosporin A, the relationship between hepaticapoptosis and necrosis and the possiblemechanism of acute hepatic necrosis.METHODS After staphylococcal enterotoxin B(SEB ) mixed with D--galactosamine (D-GaiN )were injected intraperitoneally into Balb/c miceand those previously treated with cyclosporin A,blood samples were collected and livers wereisolated at 2, 6, 12 and 24 h. Patterns othepatocellular death were studiedmorphologically and biochemically, circulatingcytokines (TNF-a, IFN--y ) and mice mortalitywithin 24h was assessed.RESU’LTS The SEB could induce the typicalapoptotic changes of hepatocytes, the D-GaiNcould induce hepatocytes apoptosis anddegeneration at the same time, and the micehaving received the SEB + D-GaiN injectionsdeveloped apoptosis at 2 and 6 h, but after 12 hhepatocytes were characterized by severein jury, whereas all the examinations in thecyclosporin A treated mice were normal.CONCLUSION Hepatic cell apoptosis might berelated to necrosis, and massive hepatocyteapoptosis is likely the initiating step of acutehepatic necrosis in mice.
