| 1 | Carboniferous Post-collisional Rift Volcanism of the Tianshan Mountains, Northwestern China显示文摘The Tianshan Carboniferous post-collisional rift volcanic rocks occur in northwestern China as a large igneous province. Based on petrogeochemical data, the Tianshan Carboniferous post-collisional rift basic lavas can be classified into two major magma types: (1) the low-Ti/Y type situated in the eastern-central Tianshan area, which exhibits low Ti/Y (<500), Ce/Yb (<15) and SiO2 (43-55%), and relatively high Fe2O3T (6.4-11.5%); (2) the high-Ti/Y type situated in the western Tianshan area, which has high Ti/Y (>500), Ce/Yb (>11) and SiO2 (49-55%), and relatively low Fe2O3T (5.8-7.8%). Elemental data suggest that chemical variations of the low-Ti/Y and high-Ti/Y lavas cannot be explained by fractional crystallization from a common parental magma. The Tianshan Carboniferous basic lavas originated most likely from an OIB-like asthenospheric mantle source (87Sr/86Sr(t) ≈ 0.703-0.705, εNd(t) ≈ +4 to +7). The crustal contamination and continental lithospheric mantle have also contributed significantly to the formation of the basic lavas of the Tianshan Carboniferous post-collisional rift. The silicic lavas were probably generated by partial melting of the crust. The data of this study show that spatial petrogeochemical variations exist in the Carboniferous post-collisional rift volcanics province in the Tianshan region. Occurrence of the thickest volcanics dominated by tholeiitic lavas may imply that the center of the mantle-melting anomaly (mantle plume) was in the eastern Tianshan area at that time. | 3 | Mid—Late Neoproterozoic rift-related volcanic rocks in China:Geological records of rifting and break-up of Rodinia显示文摘Early Cambrian and Mid-Late Neoproterozoic volcanic rocks in China are widespread on several Precambrian continental blocks,which had aggregated to form part of the Rodinia supercontinent by ca.900 Ma.On the basis of petrogeochemical data,the basic lavas can be classified into two major magma types:HT(Ti/Y>500) and LT(Ti/Y<500) that can be further divided into HT1 (Nb/La>0.85) and HT2(Nb/La≤0.85),and LT1(Nb/La>0.85) and LT2(Nb/La≤0.85) subtypes, respectively.The geochemical variation of the HT2 and LT2 lavas can be accounted for by lithospheric contamination of asthenosphere-(or plume-) derived magmas,whereas the parental magmas of the HT1 and LT1 lavas did not undergo,during their ascent,pronounced lithospheric contamination.These volcanics exhibit at least three characteristics:(1) most have a compositional bimodality;(2) they were formed in an intracontinental rift setting;and(3) they are genetically linked with mantle plumes or a mantle surperplume.This rift-related volcanism at end of the MidNeoproterozoic and Early Cambrian coincided temporally with the separation between AustraliaEast Antarctica,South China and Laurentia and between Australia and Tarim,respectively. | 4 | Relationships between Basic and Silicic Magmatism in Continental Rift Settings:A Petrogeochemical Study of Carboniferous Post-collisional Rift Silicic Volcanics in Tianshan,NW China显示文摘Petrogeochemical data are reported for silicic volcanic rocks from the Tianshan Carboniferous rift, with the aim of discussing the petrogenesis of silicic magmas. Incompatible element vs. incompatible element diagrams display smooth positive trends for the Tianshan Carboniferous rift-related volcanic rocks; the isotope ratios of the silicic lavas [87Sr/86Sr(t)=0.69988–0.70532; εNd(t)=4.76–8.00; 206Pb/204Pb(t)=17.435–18.017; 207Pb/204Pb(t)=15.438–15.509; 208Pb/204Pb(t) = 37.075–37.723] encompass those of the basic lavas. These data suggest a genetic link between rhyolites and basalts, but are not definitive in establishing whether silicic rocks are related to basalts through fractional crystallization or partial melting. Geochemical modeling of incompatible vs. compatible elements excludes the possibility that silicic melts are generated by the melting of basaltic rocks, and indicates a derivation by fractional crystallization plus moderate assimilation of wall rocks (AFC) starting from intermediate rocks to silicic rocks. Continuous AFC from basalt to rhyolite, with small rates of crustal assimilation, best explains the geochemical data. The presence or absence of bimodal volcanism (the “Daly Gap”) might be related to cooling rates of magma chambers. In central and eastern Tianshan, the crust was thinner and the cooling rates of the magma chamber within the crust were greater. | 5 | Origin and evolution of oilfield brines from Tertiary strata in western Qaidam Basin:Constraints from ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr,δD,δ^(18)O,δ^(34)S and water chemistry显示文摘Chemistry of major and minor elements,87Sr/86Sr,δD,δ18O and δ34S of brines were measured from Tertiary strata and Quaternary salt lakes in the western Qaidam Basin.The water chemistry data show that all oilfield brines are CaCl2 type.They were enriched in Ca2+,B3+,Li+,Sr2+,Br-,and were depleted in Mg2+,SO42-,which indicated that these brines had the characteristics of deeply circulated water.The relationship between δD and δ18O shows that all data of these brines decline towards the Global Meteoric Water Line(GWL) and Qaidam Meteoric Water Line(QWL),and that the intersection between oilfield brines and Meteoric Water Lines was close to the local spring and fresh water in the piedmont in the western Qaidam Basin.The results suggest that oilfield brines has initially originated from meteoric water,and then might be affected by water-rock metamorphose,because most oilfield brines distribute in the range of metamorphosing water.The 87Sr/86Sr values of most oilfield brines range from 0.71121 to 0.71194,and was less than that in salt lake water(>0.712),but close to that of halite in the study area.These imply that salt dissolution occurred in the process of migration.In addition,all oilfield brines have obviously much positive δ34S values(ranging from 26.46‰ to 54.57‰) than that of salt lake brines,which was caused by bacterial sulfate reduction resulting in positive shift of δ34S value and depleteed SO42-in oilfield brines.Combined with water chemical data and δD,δ18O,87Sr/86Sr,δ34S values,we concluded that oilfield brines mainly originate from the deeply circulated meteoric waters,and then are affected by salt dissolution,water-rock metamorphose,sulfate reduction and dolomitization during the process of migration.These processes alter the chemical compositions of oilfield brines and accumulate rich elements(such as B,Li,Sr,Br,K and so on) for sustainable utilization of salt lake resources in the Qaidam Basin. | FAN Qishun MA Haizhou LAI Zhongping TAN Hongbing LI Tingwei | 2010 | Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2010,29,4: | 10 |
| 6 | Micro-arc oxidation coatings on Mg-Li alloys显示文摘Micro-arc oxidation (MAO) method was used for the surface modification of an Mg-5wt.%Li alloy. Ceramic coatings were in-situ fabricated on the Mg-Li alloy. The morphology feature,phase composition,and corrosion-resistance of the formed ceramic coatings were studied by SEM,XRD,and electrochemical methods,respectively. The results showed that the coatings produced in a sodium silicate solution system were composed of MgO and Mg2SiO4. The ceramic coating became thicker and the content of Mg2SiO4 phase increased as the concentration of Na2SiO3 increased in the solution. The coating was loose at the low concentration of Na2SiO3 and was compact at the high concentration of Na2SiO3. | 9 | 3-year Treatment of Tenofovir Alafenamide vs.Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate for Chronic HBV Infection in China显示文摘Background and Aims:Tenofovir alafenamide(TAF)has similar efficacy to tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)but with improved renal and bone safety in chronic hepatitis B patients studied outside of China.We report 3-year results from two phase 3 studies with TAF in China(Clinicaltrials.gov:NCT02836249 and NCT02836236).Methods:Chinese hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)-positive and-negative chronic hepatitis B patients with viremia and elevated alanine aminotransferase were randomized 2:1 to TAF or TDF treatment groups and treated in a double-blind fashion for 144 weeks(3 years).Efficacy responses were assessed by individual study while safety was assessed by a pooled analysis.Results:Of the 334 patients(180 HBeAg-positive and 154 HBeAg-negative)randomized and treated,baseline characteristics were similar between groups.The overall mean age was 38 years and 73%were male.The mean HBV DNA was 6.4 log10 IU/mL.The median alanine aminotransferase was 88 U/L,and 37%had a history of antiviral use.At week 144,the proportion with HBV DNA<29 IU/mL was similar among the two groups,with TAF at 83%vs.TDF at 79%,and TAF at 93%vs.TDF at 92%for the HBeAg-positive and-negative patients,respectively.In each study,higher proportions of TAF than TDF patients showed normalized alanine aminotransferase(via the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and the China criteria)and showed loss of HBsAg;meanwhile,the HBeAg seroconversion rates were similar.Treatment was well-tolerated among the TAF patients,who showed a smaller median decline in creatinine clearance(−0.4 vs.−3.2 mL/min;p=0.014)and less percentage change in bone mineral density vs.TDF at hip(−0.95%vs.−1.93%)and spine(+0.35%vs.−1.40%).Conclusions:In chronic hepatitis B patients from China,TAF treatment provided efficacy similar to TDF but with better renal and bone safety at 3 years. | Jinlin Hou Qin Ning Zhongping Duan You Chen Qing Xie Fu-Sheng Wang Lunli Zhang Shanming Wu Hong Tang Jun Li Feng Lin Yongfeng Yang Guozhong Gong John FFlaherty Anuj Gaggar Shuyuan Mo Cong Cheng Gregory Camus Chengwei Chen Yan Huang Jidong Jia Mingxiang Zhang GS-US-320-0110 and GS-US-320-0108 China Investigators | 2021 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2021,9,3: | 7 |
| 10 | A microRNA encoded by HSV-1 inhibits a cellular transcriptional repressor of viral immediate early and early genes显示文摘Viral microRNAs are one component of the RNA interference phenomenon generated during viral infection. They were first identified in the Herpesviridae family, where they were found to regulate viral mRNA translation. In addition, prior work has suggested that Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) is capable of regulating cellular gene transcription by miRNA. We demonstrate that a miRNA, hsv1-mir-H27, encoded within the genome of herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1), targets the mRNA of the cellular transcriptional repressor Kelch-like 24 (KLHL24) that inhibits transcriptional efficiency of viral immediate-early and early genes. The viral miRNA is able to block the expression of KLHL24 in cells infected by HSV-1. | 14 | Discrimination of False Negative Results in RT-PCR Detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNAs in Clinical Specimens by Using an Internal Reference显示文摘Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)is an essential method for specific diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection.Unfortunately,false negative test results are often reported.In this study,we attempted to determine the principal causes leading to false negative results of RT-PCR detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNAs in respiratory tract specimens.Multiple sputum and throat swab specimens from 161 confirmed COVID-19 patients were tested with a commercialfluorescent RT-PCR kit targeting the ORF1 ab and N regions of SARS-CoV-2 genome.The RNA level of a cellular housekeeping gene ribonuclease P/MRP subunit p30(RPP30)in these specimens was also assessed by RT-PCR.Data for a total of 1052 samples were retrospectively re-analyzed and a strong association between positive results in SARS-CoV-2 RNA tests and high level of RPP30 RNA in respiratory tract specimens was revealed.By using the ROC-AUC analysis,we identified Ct cutoff values for RPP30 RT-PCR which predicted false negative results for SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR with high sensitivity(95.03%–95.26%)and specificity(83.72%–98.55%)for respective combination of specimen type and ampli-fication reaction.Using these Ct cutoff values,false negative results could be reliably identified.Therefore,the presence of cellular materials,likely infected host cells,are essential for correct SARS-CoV-2 RNA detection by RT-PCR in patient specimens.RPP30 could serve as an indicator for cellular content,or a surrogate indicator for specimen quality.In addition,our results demonstrated that false negativity accounted for a vast majority of contradicting results in SARS-CoV-2 RNA test by RT-PCR. | Yafei Zhang Changtai Wang Mingfeng Han Jun Ye Yong Gao Zhongping Liu Tengfei He Tuantuan Li Mengyuan Xu Luping Zhou Guizhou Zou Mengji Lu Zhenhua Zhang | 2020 | Virologica Sinica2020,35,6: | 5 |

| 16 | New Approaches and Markers for Identifying Secondary Biogenic Coalbed Gas显示文摘According to the adsorption-desorption characteristics of coalbed gas and analysis of various experimental data,this paper proposes that the generation of secondary biogenic gas(SBG) and its mixing of with the residual thermogenic gas at an early stage inevitably lead to secondary changes of the thermogenic gas and various geochemical additive effects.Experimental results also show that the fractionation of the carbon isotope of methane of coal core desorption gas changes very little;the δ13C1 value of the mixed gas of biogenic and thermogenic gases is between the δ13C1 values of the two 'original' gases,and the value is determined by the carbon isotopic compositions and mixing proportions of the two 'original' methanes.Therefore this paper proposes that the study on the secondary changes of the thermogenic gas and various additive effects is a new effective way to study and identify SBG.Herein,a systematic example of research on the coalbed gas(Huainan coalbed gas) is further conducted,revealing a series of secondary changes and additive effects,the main characteristics and markers of which are:(1) the contents of CO2 and heavy-hydrocarbons decrease significantly;(2) the content of CH4 increases and the gas becomes drier;(3) the δ13C and δD values of methane decrease significantly and tend to have biogenetic characteristics;and(4) the values of δ13C2 and δ13CCO2 grow higher.These isotopic values also change with the degradation degrees by microbes and mixing proportions of the two kinds of gases in different locations.There exists a negative correlation between the δ13C1 vs δ13CCO2 values.The △δ13CC2-C1 values obviously become higher.The distributions of the △δ13CCO2-C1 values are within certain limits and show regularity.There exist a positive correlation between the N2 versus Ar contents,and a negative correlation between the N2 versus CH4 contents,indicating the down forward infiltration of the surface water containing air.These are important markers of the generation and existence of SBG. | TAO Mingxin LI Jing LI Xiaobin MA Yuzhen LI Zhongping WANG Zuodong GAO Zhongliang ZHANG Xiaojun WANG Yanlong | 2012 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,1: | 4 |
| 17 | 北斗导航系统卫星激光测距综述显示文摘Satellite laser ranging(SLR)is an unambiguous measurement technique and generates high accuracy satellite orbit data.All satellites in the BeiDou navigation satellite system(BDS)carried laser retro-reflector arrays(LRAs),so they can be tracked by ground SLR stations in order to provide the accurate observation data.The Shanghai astronomical observatory(SHAO)designed the LRAs,and also developed the dedicated SLR systems using a 1 m-aperture telescope and a transportable cabin-based SLR system with a telescopes of 60 cm aperture.These enable BDS satellite ranging during daytime and nighttime with centimeter-level precision,allowing highly accurate estimations of satellite orbits.Moreover,some of the BDS satellites are also equipped with laser time transfer(LTT)payloads,which were developed by the SHAO and China Academy of Space Technology(CAST),providing a highly accurate time comparison between the satellites and ground clocks.This paper describes the dedicated SLR system and the design of the LRAs for BDS satellites,as well as global SLR measurements.The SLR tracking data is used for evaluating the orbit accuracy of BDS satellites and broadcast ephemeris,with an accuracy of less than 1 m.The LTT measurements to BDS satellites for a single shot have a precision of approximately 300 picoseconds,with a time stability of 20 picoseconds in 500 s. | ZHANG Haifeng LONG Mingliang YANG Huafeng MENG Wendong CHENG Zhi’en DENG Huarong ZHANG Zhongping ZHANG A’li | 2020 | Aerospace China2020,21,4: | 4 |
| 18 | Cloning and expression pattern of a dehydrin-like BDNI gene from drought-tolerant Boea crassifolia Hemsl.显示文摘A 500-bp cDNA fragment was amplified via RT-PCR from drought-induced total RNA of the drought-tolerant B. crassifolia Hemsl. using primers based on the sequence of published dehydrin conserved region. By using 5’ RACE, full-length coding region (1 148 bp) of BDN1 gene was produced. It is a new member of the dehydrin gene family. Southern analysis indicated that BDN1 is present in the 6. crassifolia genome as a single-copy gene. | 20 | Theoretical prediction on mechanical and thermal properties of a promising thermal barrier material:Y_(4)Al_(2)O_(9)显示文摘The mechanical and thermal properties of Y_(4)Al_(2)O_(9)were predicted using a combination of first-principles and chemical bond theory(CBT)calculations.Density functional theory(DFT)computations were performed for the structural,mechanical,and thermal properties,and the results were confirmed by chemical bond theory.Based on the calculated equilibrium crystal structure,heterogeneous bonding nature has been revealed,i.e.,Al-O bonds are stronger than Y-O bonds.Low second-order elastic constants c44,c55,and c66 demonstrate the low shear deformation resistance.Low G/B ratio suggests that Y_(4)Al_(2)O_(9)is a damage tolerant ceramic.Y_(4)Al_(2)O_(9)shows anisotropy in elastic behavior based on the discussion of direction dependence of Young’s modulus.The hardness is predicted to be 10.2 GPa from calculated elastic moduli.The thermal expansion coefficient(TEC)calculated by chemical bond theory is 7.51×10^(-6)K^(-1).In addition,the minimum thermal conductivity of Y_(4)Al_(2)O_(9)is estimated to be 1.13 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1),and the thermal conductivity decreases with temperature as 1305.6/T. | Yanchun ZHOU Huimin XIANG Xinpo LU Zhihai FENG Zhongping LI | 2015 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2015,4,2: | 3 |
