2Delamination damage detection of laminated composite beams using air-coupled ultrasonic transducers显示文摘Air-coupled ultrasonic transducers are used to generate and receive Lamb waves in quasi-isotropic laminated composite beams for delamination detection. The influence of incident angle on the excited mode is studied. Numerical calculation and experimental results show that a pure Lamb wave mode can be generated if the transmitting transducer is oriented at a specific angle, and the receiving transducer can either be oriented to detect the same mode as that generated by the transmitter or to detect another mode generated by mode conversion at a defect. A three-dimensional finite element model is created to predict the interaction of Lamb waves with delamination, and some unique mechanisms of interaction between A0 mode Lamb waves and delamination are revealed in detail. The experimental results obtained on laminated composite beam using air-coupled ultrasonic transducers are well in accordance with finite element simulation results. 4Nutrient concentrations and fluxes in the Changjiang Estuary during summer显示文摘In June 2003 and 2006 concentrations of nutrient were determined in the Changjiang Estuary.The data indicated that phosphate and nitrate did not behave conservatively in the estuary,but silicate behaved conservatively.An important mobilization of phosphate and nitrate was observed from the river up to halfway in the estuary.Both input flux(from river to estuary) and output flux(from estuary to coastal zone) of phosphate,silicate and nitrate were calculated from statistical interpretations of the salinity profiles.There was a large discrepancy between input and output fluxes of phosphate and nitrate.The river fluxes of silicate,phosphate and nitrate(f r ) are augmented 5.3%,28.9% and 36.6% in June 2003 and 1.0%,62.5%,31.7% in June 2006 by internal inputs(f i ).The phosphate and nitrate fluxes are enhanced through the estuarine process,while silicate flux is unaltered.The authors present some long-term data for nutrient concentrations and the ratios of silicon to nitrogen to phosphorus in the Changjiang Estuary.Silicate level falled in the last two decades,while concentration of nitrate increased.Phosphate concentration had no significant change.CHEN Hongtao YU Zhigang YAO Qingzheng MI Tiezhu LIU Pengxia 2010Acta Oceanologica Sinica2010,29,2:13

7Counteraction of ABA-Mediated Inhibition of Seed Germination and Seedling Establishment by ABA Signaling Terminator in Arabidopsis显示文摘Seed germination and seedling establishment are important for the reproductive success of plants,but seeds and seedlings typically encounter constantly changing environmental conditions.By inhibiting seed germination and post-germinative growth through the PYR1/PYL/RCAR ABA receptors and PP2C co-receptors,the phytohormone abscisic acid(ABA)prevents premature germination and seedling growth under unfavorable conditions.However,little is known about how the ABA-mediated inhibition of seed germination and seedling establishment is thwarted.Here,we report that ABA Signaling Terminator(ABT),a WD40 protein,efficiently switches off ABA signaling and is critical for seed germination and seedling establishment.ABT is induced by ABA in a PYR1/PYL/RCAR-PP2C-dependent manner.Overexpression of ABT promotes seed germination and seedling greening in the presence of ABA,whereas knockout of ABT has the opposite effect.We found that ABT interacts with the PYR1/PYL/RCAR and PP2C proteins,interferes with the interaction between PYR1/PYL4 and ABI1/ABI2,and hampers the inhibition of ABI1/ABI2 by ABA-bound PYR1/PYL4,thereby terminating ABA signaling.Taken together,our results reveal a core mechanism of ABA signaling termination that is critical for seed germination and seedling establishment in Arabidopsis.Zhijuan Wang Ziyin Ren Chunhong Cheng Tao Wang Hongtao Ji Yang Zhao Zhiping Deng Liya Zhi Jingjing Lu Xinying Wu Shimin Xu Mengmeng Cao Hongtao Zhao Liu Liu Jiankang Zhu Xia Li 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,9:10

9Optimization of rice wine fermentation process based on the simultaneous saccharification and fermentation kinetic model显示文摘Chinese rice wine making is a typical simultaneous saccharification and fermentation(SSF) process.During the fermentation process,temperature is one of the key parameters which decide the quality of Chinese rice wine.To optimize the SSF process for Chinese rice wine brewing,the effects of temperature on the kinetic parameters of yeast growth and ethanol production at various temperatures were determined in batch cultures using a mathematical model.The kinetic parameters as a function of temperature were evaluated using the software Origin8.0.Combing these functions with the mathematical model,an appropriate form of the model equations for the SSF considering the effects of temperature were developed.The kinetic parameters were found to fit the experimental data satisfactorily with the developed temperature-dependent model.The temperature profile for maximizing the ethanol production for rice wine fermentation was determined by genetic algorithm.The optimum temperature profile began at a low temperature of 26 °C up to 30 h.The operating temperature increased rapidly to 31.9 °C,and then decreased slowly to 18 °C at 65 h.Thereafter,the temperature was maintained at18 °C until the end of fermentation.A maximum ethanol production of 89.3 g·L^(-1)was attained.Conceivably,our model would facilitate the improvement of Chinese rice wine production at the industrial scale.Dengfeng Liu Hongtao Zhang Chi-Chung Lin Baoguo Xu 2016Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2016,24,10:10

15Flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte enabling a Li F-rich solid electrolyte interface to improve cycle performance of wide-temperature lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium–sulfur batteries have been regarded as the most promising high-energy electrochemical energy storage device owing to the high energy density, low cost and environmental friendliness. However, traditional lithium–sulfur batteries using ether-based electrolytes often suffer from severe safety risks(i.e. combustion). Herein, we demonstrated a novel kind of flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte(6.5 M lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulphonyl)imide/fluoroethylene carbonate) for highly-safe and widetemperature lithium–sulfur batteries. It was found that such concentrated electrolyte showed superior flame retardancy, high lithium-ion transference number(0.69) and steady lithium plating/stripping behavior(2.5 m Ah cm^(-2) over 3000 h). Moreover, lithium–sulfur batteries using this flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte delivered outstanding cycle performance in a wide range of temperatures(-10 °C, 25 °C and 90 °C). This superior battery performance is mainly attributed to the LiF-rich solid electrolyte interphase formed on lithium metal anode, which can effectively suppress the continuous growth of lithium dendrites. 16High strength and high conductivity Cu alloys: A review显示文摘High strength and high conductivity(HSHC) Cu alloys are widely used in many fields,such as high-speed electric railway contact wires and integrated circuit lead frames. Pure Cu is well known to have excellent electrical conductivity but rather low strength. The main concern of HSHC Cu alloys is how to strengthen the alloy efficiently. However,when the Cu alloys are strengthened by a certain method,their electrical conductivity will inevitably decrease to a certain extent. This review introduces the strengthening methods of HSHC Cu alloys. Then the research progress of some typical HSHC Cu alloys such as Cu-Cr-Zr,Cu-Ni-Si,Cu-Ag,Cu-Mg is reviewed according to different alloy systems. Finally,the development trend of HSHC Cu alloys is forecasted. It is pointed out that precipitation and micro-alloying are effective ways to improve the performance of HSHC Cu alloys. 17Rational cutting height for large cutting height fully mechanized top-coal caving显示文摘Large cutting height fully mechanized top-coal caving is a new mining method that improves recovery ratio and single-pass production. It also allows safe and efficient mining. A rational cutting height is one key parameter of this technique. Numerical simulation and a granular-media model experiment were used to analyze the effect of cutting height on the rock pressure of a fully mechanized top-coal caving work face. The recovery ratio was also studied. As the cutting height increases the top-coal thickness is reduced. Changing the ratio of cutting to drawing height intensifies the face pressure and the top-coal shattering. A maximum cutting height exists under a given set of conditions due to issues with surrounding rock-mass control. An increase in cutting height makes the top-coal cave better and the recovery ratio when drawing top-coal is then improved. A method of adjusting the face rock pressure is presented. Changing the cutting to drawing height ratio is the technique used to control face rock pressure. The recovery ratio when cutting coal exceeds that when caving top-coal so the face recovery ratio may be improved by over sizing the cutting height and increasing the top-coal drawing ratio. An optimum ratio of cutting to drawing height exists that maximizes the face recovery ratio. A rational cutting height is determined by comprehensively considering the surrounding rock-mass control and the recovery ratio. 19Geology and Geochemistry of the Bianbianshan Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn Deposit, Southern Da Hinggan Mountains, Northeastern China显示文摘The Bianbianshan deposit, the unique gold-polymetal (Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn) veined deposit of the polymetal metallogenic belt of the southern segment of Da Hinggan Mountains mineral province, is located at the southern part of the Hercynian fold belt of the south segment of Da Hinggan Mountains mineral province, NE China. Ores at the Bianbianshan deposit occur within Cretaceous andesite and rhyolite in the form of gold-bearing quartz veins and veinlet groups containing native gold, electrum, pyrite, chalcopyrite, galena and sphalerite. The deposit is hosted by structurally controlled faults associated with intense hydrothermal alteration. The typical alteration assemblage is sericite + chlorite + calcite + quartz, with an inner pyrite-sericite-quartz zone and an outer seicite - chlorite - calcite-epidote zone between orebodies and wall rocks. δ34 S values of 17 sulfides from ores changing from -1.67 to +0.49‰ with average of -0.49‰, are similar to δ34 S values of magmatic or igneous sulfide sulfur. 206Pb/204Pb, 207Pb/204Pb and 208Pb/ 204Pb data of sulfide from ores range within 17.66-17.75, 15.50-15.60, and 37.64-38.00, respectively. These sulfur and lead isotope compositions imply that ore-forming materials might mainly originate from deep sources. H and O isotope study of quartz from ore-bearing veins indicate a mixed source of deep-seated magmatic water and shallower meteoric water. The ore formations resulted from a combination of hydrothermal fluid mixing and a structural setting favoring gold-polymetal deposition. Fluid mixing was possibly the key factor resulting in Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn deposition in the deposit. 20A theoretical derivation of the Hoek-Brown failure criterion for rock materials显示文摘This study uses a three-dimensional crack model to theoretically derive the Hoeke Brown rock failure criterion based on the linear elastic fracture theory. Specifically, we argue that a failure characteristic factor needs to exceed a critical value when macro-failure occurs. This factor is a product of the microfailure orientation angle(characterizing the density and orientation of damaged micro-cracks) and the changing rate of the angle with respect to the major principal stress(characterizing the microscopic stability of damaged cracks). We further demonstrate that the factor mathematically leads to the empirical Hoeke Brown rock failure criterion. Thus, the proposed factor is able to successfully relate the evolution of microscopic damaged crack characteristics to macro-failure.
