1Effects of cooling rate and B content on microstructure of near-eutectic Al-13wt%Si Alloy显示文摘Under cooling rates of 2 ℃/s and 10 ℃/s, the influences of B content on the microstructure of near eutectic Al-13.0wt%Si alloy have been investigated. Results showed that the addition of boron resulted in refinement of eutectic grains, and to some extent, had an inhibiting effect on precipitation of the primary phases, and the refining and inhibiting effects are much more obvious at higher cooling rate. When B was not added, higher cooling rate promoted the a-Al dendrites formation. At lower cooling rate, the addition of B did not cause the so called 'columnar to equiaxed transition (CET)' , however, at higher cooling rate, this transition was obvious. After the addition of B, the nucleation temperature TN ascended and nucleation mode changed from nucleation mode of from wall towards centre (without B addition) to a nucleation mode that the eutectic nucleated evenly throughout whole sample (with B added). It can be concluded that the addition of B offers a large amount of nuclei for eutectic solidification, as a result, the eutectic grains was refined. 2The onset and advance of the Asian summer monsoon显示文摘Based on the daily outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) data from National Oceanic and At- mospheric Administration (NOAA) satellites, the Cli- mate Prediction Center’s merged analysis of pre- cipitation (CMAP) data and the National Centers for Environmental Prediction/National Center for At- mospheric Research (NCEP/NCAR) reanalysis dataset, the mean intraseasonal variability of the Asian summer monsoon (ASM) is investigated by using power spectrum analysis, band-pass filter, and diagnostic analyses. The processes of the onset and advance of monsoon over the southern part of Indo- china Peninsula, the east coast of Bay of Bengal, the South China Sea and the Indian subcontinent are explored. It is found that there is an abrupt change in OLR, precipitation and zonal wind during the onset and advance of the ASM. 3Quantitative trait loci(QTLs)for quality traits related to protein and starch in wheat显示文摘Quality traits in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) were studied by quantitative trait locus (QTL) analysis in a recombinant inbred line (RIL) population, a set of 131 lines derived from Chuan 35050 × Shannong 483 cross (ChSh). Grains from RILs were assayed for 21 quality traits related to protein and starch. A total of 35 putative QTLs for 19 traits with a single QTL explaining 7.99–40.52% of phe- notypic variations were detected on 10 chromosomes, 1D, 2A, 2D, 3B, 3D, 5A, 6A, 6B, 6D, and 7B. The additive effects of 30 QTLs were positive, contributed by Chuan 35050, the remaining 5 QTLs were negative with the additive effect contributed by Shannong 483. For protein traits, 15 QTLs were obtained and most of them were located on chromosomes 1D, 3B and 6D, while 20 QTLs for starch traits were detected and most of them were located on chromosomes 3D, 6B and 7B. Only 7 QTLs for protein and starch traits were co-located in three regions on chromosomes 1D, 2A and 2D. These protein and starch trait QTLs showed a distinct distribution pattern in certain regions and chromosomes. Twenty-two QTLs were clustered in 6 regions of 5 chromosomes. 4Two regimes of Atlantic multidecadal oscillation: cross-basin dependent or Atlantic-intrinsic显示文摘The Atlantic Multidedal Oscillation(AMO) is a prominent mode of sea surface temperature variability in the Atlantic and incurs significant global influence. Most coupled models failed to reproduce the observed 50–80-year AMO, but were overwhelmed by a 10–30-year AMO. Here we show that the 50–80-year AMO and 10–30-year AMO represent two different AMO regimes. The key differences are:(1) the 50–80-year AMO involves transport of warm and saline Atlantic water into the Greenland-Iceland-Norwegian(GIN)Seas prior to reaching its maximum positive phase, while such a transport is weak for the 10–30-year AMO;(2) the zonality of atmospheric variability associated with the 50–80 year AMO favors the transport of warm and saline water into the GIN Seas;(3) the disappearance of Pacific variability weakens the zonality of atmospheric variability and the transport of warm and saline water into the GIN Seas, leading to the weakening of the 50–80-year AMO. In contrast, the 10–30-year AMO does not show dependence on the variability in Pacific and in the GIN Seas and may be an Atlantic-intrinsic mode. 5Study on Kinetics for Desulfurization of Model Diesel显示文摘In this study,by means of the experiments for desulfurization of model diesel through oxidative extraction,the changes associated with the rate of desulfurization of diesel and the mechanism for oxidation of sulfides in diesel were explored. Through studying the mechanism for oxidation of sulfides and the principle of solvent extraction,the kinetic equation of desulfurization via oxidative extraction were determined. By means of the evaluation of model parameters and curve fitting,the reaction order between organic sulfide and sulfone,the intrinsic oxidation rate constant of organic sulfide and sulfone,and the equilibrium constant between sulfone in model diesel and extractive solvent were determined. The experimental values of the desulfurization rate and the theoretical values of the corresponding model equation had closely demonstrated that the desulfurization reaction rate had high accuracy. 6Degradation of PCDD/Fs in MSWI fly ash using a microwave-assisted hydrothermal process显示文摘In this work,microwave treatment was introduced to a hydrothermal treatment process to degrade PCDD/Fs(Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans)in municipal solid waste incineration(MSWI)fly ash.Three process additives(NaOH,Na2 HPO4,H2 O),temperatures(150℃,185℃,220℃)and reaction times(1 h,2 h,3 h)were investigated to identify their effect on the disposal of fly ash samples through orthogonal experiments.High-resolution gas chromatography–mass spectrometry(HRGC/MS)was applied to determine the PCDD/F concentrations in MSWI fly ash.The experimental results revealed that 83.7%of total PCDD/Fs was degraded.Reaction temperature was the most important factor for the degradation of the total PCDD/Fs.Both direct destruction and chlorination reactions(the chlorination degree of PCDFs increased)took part in the degradation of PCDD/Fs in fly ash,which was a new discovery.Several PCDD/F indexes determined by the concentration of indicative congeners were found to quantitatively characterize the dioxin toxicity of the fly ash.Furthermore,heavy metals in the fly ash sample were solidified using microwave-assisted hydrothermal treatment,which provided an experimental basis for the simultaneous disposal of dioxins and heavy metals.Thus,the microwave-assisted hydrothermal process should be considered for the future disposal of MSWI fly ash.Qili Qiu Xuguang Jiang Guojun Lü Zhiliang Chen Shengyong Lu Mingjiang Ni Jianhua Yan Xiaobing Deng 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,7:3
7Mechanical Behavior and Failure Mechanism of 2.5D(Shallow Bend-joint, Deep Straight-joint) and 3D Orthogonal UHWMPE Fiber/Epoxy Composites by Vacuum-assistant-resin-infused显示文摘Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE) fiber/epoxy composites were fabricated by a vacuum assisted resin infused(VARI) processing technology. The curing condition of composites was at a cure temperature of 80 ℃ for 3h in a drying oven. The characteristics of 2.5D(shallow bend-joint and deep straight-joint) structure and 3D orthogonal structure were compared. The failure behavior, flexural strength, and microstructures of both composites were investigated. It was found that the flexural property was closely related to undulation angle θ. 8Screening of Brown Planthopper Resistant miRNAs in Rice and Their Roles in Regulation of Brown Planthopper Fecundity显示文摘MicroRNAs(miRNAs)can participate in plant-insect interactions,which regulate plant defense networks.In this study,we analyzed the miRNA expression profiles of six rice varieties before and after brown planthopper(BPH)-feeding.We identified 45 differentially expressed miRNAs between BPH-susceptible and BPH-resistant rice varieties and 144 miRNAs that responded to BPH-feeding.Thus,miRNAs may be involved in multiple pathways regulating rice defense response against BPH.In addition,we found that the genetic history of rice varieties determined the regulation mode of the miRNA and affected the amounts,types,changing trends and response periods of miRNAs in response to BPH-feeding.To conclude,we scanned seven potential cross-kingdom miRNAs,of which miR5795 may target the vitellogenin gene in BPH,causing a 16.07%reduction in BPH oviposition.The results provide new miRNA information of rice-BPH interactions and BPH-resistant rice variety breeding.LÜJun LIU Jinhui CHEN Lin SUN Jiawei SU Qin LI Shihui YANG Jianhua ZHANG Wenqing 2022Rice science2022,29,6:1
9Crustal structure in the Anyuan Coal Mine and its adjacent areas of Jiangxi Province by P-wave receiver functions显示文摘We collected high-quality teleseismic events recorded by 12 broadband seismographs deployed in the Anyuan Coal Mine and its adjacent areas in Pingxiang City,Jiangxi Province for nearly two years.The H-κ-c stacking method was employed to obtain the crustal thickness and Poisson's ratio distribution,then the characteristics of crustal structure below the stations were obtained by using the time-domain linear inversion method.The crustal thickness in the Anyuan Coal Mine and its adjacent areas ranges from approximately 32~35 km,with an average thickness of 33 km,which is consistent with the crustal thickness results in South China from previous studies using the receiver function method.The average Poisson's ratio of the crustal bulk composition in the study area varies between 0.22 and 0.25,which is lower than the global value with a 0.27 average,indicating a predominantly intermediate-acidic or felsic crustal composition.There is a weak negative correlation between Poisson's ratio and crustal thickness estimates in the Anyuan Coal Mine and its adjacent areas,suggesting that the absence of mafic-ultramafic materials in the lower crust is associated with the process of crustal delamination.The velocity inversion results indicate that the crustal structure including three velocity discontinuity interfaces,with the first at a depth of approximately 1.5 km,the second at about 10~15 km,and the third being the Moho.The study also indicates that the results obtained by the H-κ-c stacking method are significantly better than those obtained by the H-κmethod,effectively reducing the standard deviation and dispersion of crustal thickness and vP/vSratio.Xingmian Zhang Meng Gong Jian Lü Hongxing Li Jie Hu Junwen He Jianhua Peng Bingyue Liu 2024Earthquake Research Advances2024,4,1:0
10Construction of a HERG mutant L539fs/47-*558W pEGFP vector and the expression of the fusion protein in HEK293 cells显示文摘Objective:To construct a human ether-a-go-go-related gene(HERG)nonsense mutant L539fs/47-*558W into the autonomously fluorescent,eukaryotic expression vector pEGFP-C2,and to verify expression of the reconstruct in human embryonic kidney-293(HEK293)cells.Methods:The mutational fragment was subcloned into pEGFP-C2-HERG by double digestion of SbfⅠ,Eco91Ⅰand rejoining of T4 ligase.After verification,the recombinant pEGFP-C2-L539fs/47-*558W and pEGFP-C2-HERG were respectively transfected into HEK293 cells for 48 h by the Lipofect method to observe the expression location of the fusion protein by laser confocal imaging scanning in vivo.pcDNA3-L539fs/47-*558W and pcDNA3-HERG were transfected to observe the expression location of the HERG protein by immunofluoresceoce.The mutant protein size was determined by Western blotting.Results:The about 1 kb-sized mutation region cDNA fragment from pcDNA3-L539fs/47-*558W and the about 7.2 kb-sized target vector fragment from pcDNA3-HERG were ligated after purification and gel recovery.pEGFP-C2-L539fs/47*-558W,approximately 8.2 kb,was demonstrated successfully been constructed under agarose gel electrophoresis and further sequencing.Laser confocal imaging showed that pEGFP-C2-HERG was mainly expressed in the membrane,whereas truncated mutant-type HERG in the pEGFP-C2 vector was partially located in the cytoplasm,the others were transported to the cell membrane in living HEK293 cells.The same as the immunofluoresceoce results after transfection of pcDNA3-HERG and pcDNA3-L539fs/47-558W.Wild-type HERG-GFP fusion protein expressed 160 and 180 kDa bands.The mutant and mutant-GFP fusion proteins were 70 and 100 kDa,respectively.Conclusion:pEGFP-C2-L539fs/47-*558W was successfully constructed by double digestion method GFP had no effect on its protein expression and trafficking in HEK293 cells,which laid a foundation for the further study on L539fs/47-*558W.ZHANG Junbo Lü Ying ZHANG Aifeng SUN Chaofeng HAN Wenqi LI Guoliang GAO Jie HUO Jianhua PAN Junqiang ZHOU Xin NIU Xiaolin 2013Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2013,28,4:0
